“Best and user-friendly annotation tool
Pros
The magic polygon option is excellent. It helps me save a lot of time, and the polygon output is accurate.
Cons
After submitting an image for QC or completing it, the palette tends to block the view, and it doesn't disappear until you click on it, which is a bit annoying.

“Good software and best-in-class support
Pros
The labeling software itself is quite good and frequently updated. More importantly, the SuperAnnotate team is very involved and takes the lead in ensuring we get high-quality labels. Unlike other solutions that required constant supervision from our engineers, SuperAnnotate manages our project and guides it to completion while still allowing us to be as involved as we want or have time to be.
Cons
While some other labeling services let you start with smaller batches before fully committing, that's not possible with SuperAnnotate. The team did work with us to reach a pricing level we were comfortable with, but the level of commitment required may not suit everyone. However, I understand that they probably couldn't offer the same level of support without this pricing model, so it ended up being worth it for us.

“Fast and pixel-level accuracy semantic segmentation
Pros
I appreciate that it is a web-based software that supports collaboration and integrates with cloud storage. Additionally, it allows for model training and connects with Python via an SDK.
Cons
It would be really helpful if the pricing information was more transparent. Another useful addition would be making the software free to use while keeping the datasets open-source.

“Amazing AI data annotating tool
Pros
SuperAnnotate automates many annotation-processing steps, such as segmentation and labeling, which accelerates work and boosts productivity. The advanced features, like object tracking, 3D annotation, and point cloud annotation, enable businesses to handle more complex image and video data.
Cons
This software doesn't offer any automobile tools or segmentations, which I wish it did, as it would help reduce errors. It would also be great if more language options were available.

“Superannotate is an excellent annotation tool!
Pros
It is an excellent annotation tool. It's a robust software that allows for efficient and accurate labeling of images, videos, and other data types for machine learning applications.
Cons
SuperAnnotate is a paid software, and for users with limited budgets, the cost can be a bit of a barrier. But the pricing does ensure good support and access to advanced features, which can really enhance the efficiency and precision of data annotation.

“Great Customer Relationship
Pros
We've really appreciated SuperAnnotate's flexibility. As new edge cases and error modes arise, our annotation needs evolve. SuperAnnotate has actively partnered with us to solve problems and deliver the best possible datasets. Their tools and APIs have addressed nearly all of our dataset use cases.
Cons
SuperAnnotate prefers upfront financial commitments but charges on a per-label basis. This can make it tricky to predict our spending since we don't always know in advance how many labels each image will require. The system works best when there's a constant flow of work, so keeping the queue full of new examples to label has been challenging at times. I haven't worked with other companies, but I imagine this is a common issue across the industry.
