“Autosoft works well”
Pros
I really like how easy it is to make the necessary entries for my job. plus I can quickly find past entries if I ever need to remind myself of what I've done or need to get my head around something.
Cons
I'm not entirely sure yet but as I continue to get more familiar with the software, I'm sure I'll be able to find things that work better for me.

“Works as expected”
Pros
I appreciate that most of our F&I software is pretty easy to use but I've noticed it doesn't do the best job of decoding vehicles. It's a bit lacking in that area.
Cons
The lag on the accounting, parts and service side is pretty frustrating. plus we seem to get kicked out of the system a lot, which is annoying.

“Very basic product”
Pros
It is really simple and user-friendly but honestly, it might be a bit too basic for those of us who are more experienced or tech-savvy.
Cons
It's pretty slow and the system often chokes up. It definitely needs updating and could really benefit from a predictive text feature or spell checker.

“Support for CDJR services”
Pros
For new employees, the basics of the system are super easy to pick up, which is great when they're getting started.
Cons
The billing process is pretty cumbersome and pulling reports like LOP reports or exporting data to Excel is pretty much impossible, which makes things harder.

“Why I prefer Autosoft”
Pros
It's super user-friendly and everything about it makes sense in my world. It's really logical, so I don't find myself getting confused.
Cons
It's not really a huge issue but on days when the dealership is open, sometimes the system is down or not working. I get that this is optional to write but I just thought I'd mention it.

“Simple software with great customer support”
Pros
I absolutely love how simple and easy it is to use this software. It just works for me.
Cons
I really don't like that I have to update customer info in multiple places. It'd be so much better if I could upload all my reports directly to Excel, too.

“Outdated software”
Pros
It's affordable and I have to say, the employees behind the software are really nice and always ready to help whenever I need assistance.
Cons
It crashes all the time. You can't run more than one instance and we have to turn off UAC just to get it to work. Honestly, having to disable Windows controls to make it function properly is a huge problem and should not be allowed.

“Simple and user-friendly”
Pros
We started using Autosoft in 2018 and the whole process was surprisingly smooth. Everything integrated really well and it felt almost seamless.
Cons
A major downside was that the accounting side was hosted separately, while finance was web-based. It caused a lot of issues with syncing everything up.

“Disappointing experience”
Pros
Honestly, there's nothing I like about this software. It's all just smoke and mirrors. Doesn't really deliver on what it promises.
Cons
Honestly, everything about it. It's not worth your time. They lock you into a 3-year contract for a reason and you'll likely regret sticking with them unless you absolutely have to.

“Problems only show up after purchase”
Pros
I was able to get more detailed reports than what we were used to before and it integrated well with some providers that we hadn't been able to connect with in the past.
Cons
The constant glitches and errors are a real pain. There are so many basic functions missing, and while they're not huge problems, the number of them is incredibly frustrating. The support team will always tell you a fix is "in development," but that just feels like a way to brush things off. It's cheaper than a lot of alternatives but honestly, you end up dealing with more headaches. Spend the extra money on something that actually works.

“Affordable and easy to use”
Pros
It keeps things simplecbut it still covers all the important stuff when it comes to inventory management and sales. It's honestly one of the best systems we use.
Cons
When working in service, It can be a little confusing at first. But with the right training, it's easy to get the hang of it.
