Pros
It's super easy to use and really flexible. I was able to learn it quickly and training new employees is also very easy.
Cons
I use RO Writer for appointment scheduling and inspections. It works really well for that.

I love how easy it is to use, how smooth the navigation is and the customer support is solid too.
Cons
The navigation is easy but sometimes it takes unnecessary steps to get to a function that could be quicker.

“Charges clients too much
Pros
I really regret choosing RO Writer. They overcharged us and then claimed they didn't. They basically took $1500 from us and wouldn't fix it.
Cons
The billing department is a joke. They're basically thieves! The sales and tech departments aren't any help either.

“Solid option but competition has caught up
Pros
I was able to migrate data from Mitchel1 without any issues. No customer or repair info got lost and I could still run my KPI reports and marketing without missing a beat.
Cons
Right now, It feels a bit too bulky to manage. I need an IT person on retainer just to handle the in-shop database. There are newer, cloud-based shop management systems out there that are more streamlined, have more features and can be accessed from anywhere.

One thing I really appreciate is how user-friendly RO Writer is. They've made the software so much easier to use.
Cons
When I first downloaded RO Writer, I ran into a few minor issues but the support team, especially Holly was awesome and got everything fixed quickly.

RO Writer helps our shop stay organized with inventory, invoicing and just helps us be way more efficient overall.
Cons
It's hard to call this a 'dislike,' but there's so much the system offers that we sometimes struggle to use every feature.

“Software crashes a lot
Pros
It's a mature software with almost everything a shop owner could want but the one thing it's lacking is reliability. Also, it's not the most easy to use.
Cons
They don't offer a demo, just a webinar with a salesperson, which isn't the most helpful. I paid what I thought was an excessive amount for training. Honestly, I can't see anyone using this without investing a lot of time in training. The system is also not intuitive and the way different functions work isn't consistent. My whole team felt the same. Plus, tech support is hard to reach. Eventually, my staff just gave up on calling and worked around machines that weren't working.
