Best option out there

Pros

I love that everything is digital, no paper waste! It's super easy to use and navigate. Plus, the digital texts and emails make it so much easier to keep customers in the loop with clear, transparent information.

Cons

I really wish there was a way to close specific job lines for flat rate technicians. Also, it'd be great if I could communicate with each staff member directly without having to send jobs back and forth with notes. It just adds extra steps.

Super fast and simple to use!

Pros

It's all about workflow control for me. I'm able to communicate with customers and follow up easily, which really keeps everything running smoothly.

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of anything major. Any complaints I have are just small things, nitpicking, really.

Perfect for small auto repair shops

Pros

Shop-Ware is so simple to learn. It makes talking to customers easy and I can quickly put together estimates without any problem. Plus, their tech support is amazing whenever I need help.

Cons

We've sent a few things over to the support team but we haven't seen any improvements yet. We really need another sync option and the ability to edit the calendar. Those would make a big difference.

Little time investment now pays off later

Pros

I can view and understand the workflow in my shop at any time, from anywhere. It's such a game-changer. I don't need to be on-site anymore to see what's going on in real time.

Cons

The only downside for us is that Shop-Ware's built-in labor guide is motor-based, which isn't great for Euro cars and Sprinter vans since it's incomplete. That said we easily integrated Mitchell1 Pro-Demand, which solved the issue for our team.

Most user-friendly system

Pros

Since It is browser-based, I can access it from anywhere. Whether I'm at an appointment or working from home, I can still check the status of things. It's so nice knowing I don't have to feel guilty about taking a day off or even a week of vacation, I can still check in if needed.

Cons

It's frustrating when an update is pushed out because the system usually crashes the next day or certain features stop working. I get that updates are meant to improve things but this happens a little too often for comfort.

Switch to digital and boost your earnings

Pros

Honestly, the support is a huge win. They're super responsive whenever we have issues and they're always improving the product based on feedback from users like me.

Cons

The digital inspection tool isn't as detailed as some competitors' options but for us, the simplicity is actually a plus. It still works well even if it's not as comprehensive as some others.

Perfect timing for the right software

Pros

It is super easy to use, loads quickly and has a professional look that makes interacting with customers a lot smoother. It definitely makes my job easier and provides a level of transparency that no other shop in my area offers.

Cons

There's not much to complain about but I do wish my version had accounting integration and a built-in CRM for setting reminders for service dates. Those are my only real issues with it.

Amazing solution

Pros

Since we've started using Shop-Ware, efficiency has gone way up. Everything just runs smoother and faster.

Cons

The inventory tools could definitely use some improvement but honestly, it's not a deal breaker for us. It's just something that could be better.
