“offers many great features”

Pros

Being able to use this platform straight from a web browser is something I really appreciate. Having the app available on the Google Play Store also adds a lot of flexibility. The virtual background feature is a really nice touch and it includes several other functions that I don't usually see on similar platforms which makes it even more appealing.

Cons

I do wish the recording feature were easier to access. The same goes for whiteboarding since it's important for better communication and sharing ideas. More consistent video and audio performance would also make the platform much more appealing for users.

“reliable video meetings”

Pros

Running remote meetings with this has been a very practical option because it lets us connect with people efficiently through video calls. The audio and video quality are generally very good which makes it useful for handling remote conversations. I also appreciate that it is a free service since that is one of the biggest advantages of using it. Another helpful feature is the ability to schedule calls in advance which makes organizing seminars and presentations much more convenient. Overall, its tools are quite useful for this kind of work.

Cons

One limitation is that this application is not very well known among the people around me. It also does not perform very well on Android phones since it is much more limited there and seems better suited for desktop computers. On top of that video calls sometimes drop unexpectedly and there are moments when the app does not respond, causing the connection to be lost.

“excellent tool for calls”

Pros

The pricing was a big plus for me especially since the free option was very attractive and made it an appealing choice.

Cons

The downside was that we couldn't get the video feature to work which is why we eventually moved over to Zoom Meetings. We also needed a platform we could use heavily since we manage more than 400 associations and this product just didn't offer that level of usage at a reasonable cost.

“interruption free conferences made easy”

Pros

Honestly, I absolutely love this software. It lets people hold phone conferences with each other without interruptions or interference which has made it really dependable to use.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues and I plan to keep using the software.

“fair pricing”

Pros

Its cost is one of the biggest advantages. It offers most of the features you'd want at no cost and it works well for internal use too.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about since it's free. The only issue I've noticed is that the connection can be a little unstable at times but aside from that, everything has been very good.

“handy for large meetings”

Pros

FreeConference works really well for bigger meetings when video isn't actually necessary. Rather than being stuck at a computer with my camera turned off, I can just dial in and join by phone which is much more convenient.

Cons

That said, we've had quite a few problems with the call in side of it. There are times when certain numbers don't work and sometimes odd interruptions happen that seem to come from other people joining the call. Because of that, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending it for confidential meetings.

“Works well for us”

Pros

Back when everyone was working from the office, this worked really well for our company because we had different meetings happening throughout the day. It gave us a professional conference line and a dedicated number we could share with clients which made our calls feel more organized and polished.

Cons

Can get pretty costly if you're running several meetings all day long. Some carriers charge one cent per minute and by the end of the month those fees can really add up. In our case, with multiple meetings every day, it became fairly expensive.

“using it is simple”

Pros

Connecting people across the country and even around the world is really convenient with this. Most of the time, the number is toll free and it's simple for everyone to join the call.

Cons

I've heard that with some other conference call apps, the audio quality can be weak and people sometimes get disconnected. After using FreeConference many times, I haven't run into any of those problems or any other problems at all. I highly recommend trying this out.

“fantastic fit for small teams”

Pros

Running a small business, this has turned out to be an excellent tool for us. We rely on it every week sometimes even more often and the support team has been even more impressive.

Cons

It's free, works consistently every time and we haven't run into any issues at all. There's nothing to complain about. I'd recommend it to anyone.

“Too many dropped calls”

Pros

Having a free conference line tied to the same phone number and access code is really convenient. It works well most of the time and it's nice that there are extra features like video available even if they can feel a bit limited and tricky to navigate.

Cons

There are still too many dropped calls, the audio quality can be weak and sometimes attendees end up in the wrong meeting when they dial in. As for video, other platforms are definitely easier to use and offer a stronger set of features.

“Screen sharing was effortless”

Pros

It was simple to set an important screen sharing meeting up. Because the hospital scheduler messed up my earlier appointment, I lost the time I had planned to spend getting familiar with the software before the meeting. I ended up setting everything up on the fly while already on the phone with him and it went perfectly. It was really simple to use and worked flawlessly.

Cons

I've only used it that one time and didn't explore any extra features so I honestly don't know enough about it yet to point out any complaints.

“quick cloud based conferencing”

Pros

Getting into a conference call is as simple as clicking a link which I absolutely love. Since everything is cloud based and there's nothing to download, setup is much faster and far less of a hassle which saves a lot of time. The screen sharing feature is also very user friendly and works really well.

Cons

At times, the call quality can be a bit unreliable but that's fairly common with most online conferencing platforms.

“ideal for occasional meetings”

Pros

Running a small business, I only need video meetings and conference calls once in a while and this service fits that need really well. For small meetings of around five people, it's free which makes it far more cost effective for me than paying for a Skype for Business subscription. Being able to email participants directly and send calendar invites they can add to Outlook is really helpful and it's also convenient that I can launch a conference call at short notice when needed. The call quality has been solid and the wide selection of freephone numbers across different countries adds a lot of value. The free version covers all the basics my business needs and it seems like the paid options are reasonably priced too if I ever need extra features.

Cons

One downside is that the web interface appears to work only in Chrome which can be inconvenient if some invitees use other browsers. That said, there's still a freephone number they can dial instead and the free app is also fast to download and simple to install.

“User friendly interface”

Pros

I was introduced to this recently for presentations and it has been a better option than paying for Adobe or some of the other services available. The interface is simple to use and I haven't noticed any lag at all.

Cons

At this point, I haven't come across anything negative to say about this product.

“reliable HD calls worldwide”

Pros

It works really well for small group calls across different countries. The HD voice quality is very clear and the web interface is simple to navigate and use. Compared with Zoom Meeting and Start Meeting, this feels like a better option especially since it can be used free for calls in the US region. Calls drop less often and video meetings usually run without glitches or interruptions.

Cons

A limitation is that I use Ubuntu and Mozilla browser support is missing. There's also no app available for Linux users. The free plan allows up to 400 dial in participants which is impressive but the dial in number for India is not toll free.

“helpful replays for training”

Pros

Being able to call, share my screen with everyone on the conference and get instant replays makes this really useful especially for training sessions when not everyone is able to attend live.

It no longer offers a free version and not every phone number is supported which can be limiting.

“Great for remote meetings”

Pros

Perfect for anyone who needs to meet with a group when being in the same place isn't possible. I really appreciate the chime each time someone joins because it makes it clear who is on the call. Teleconferencing really feels like the new boardroom.

Cons

Honestly, I haven't run into a single problem with this software since I began using it more than five years ago. I've never dealt with technical issues or anything else of that sort.

“no cap on meeting participants”

Pros

The software gives you the dial in number, the conference number and if you are hosting, it also provides the host access code to enter. Communication quality has been very good overall and there is no cap on how many people can join the call.

Cons

The only downside I have run into is when I am already in a conference and try to add someone else into it, a beeping noise starts and does not stop. The only way to fix it is to close and reopen the conference.

“my experience with FreeConference”

Pros

Having a free service like this is really helpful for business meetings especially when you need to bring a lot of people into one conference call. It's nice that it gives you a link to join from your computer but you can also use the phone number and passcode if joining by phone works better.

Cons

Sometimes, connection problems can get in the way especially with voice quality and there are cases where some participants are unable to join the conference at all. It's best to be prepared a few minutes before the scheduled meeting in case any unexpected technical issues come up.
