“clear calls on the go”
Pros
Being able to place and receive calls from a smartphone or tablet is really convenient. The audio quality is consistently high and the interface feels very user friendly so it doesn't take long to get comfortable with the app.
Cons
There are occasional connectivity problems in some situations, such as calls dropping unexpectedly.

“reliable SIP integration”
Pros
It's simple to use and follows a standard that fits in easily with any PBX that supports the SIP protocol.
Cons
The LDAP phonebook integration still needs to be simplified more for end users so the final setup feels friendlier and more accessible for everyone.

“solid free choice”
Pros
Looking around for SIP softphones, Wave is usually one of the first options that shows up. At the moment, there really aren't that many free SIP softphones available so it ends up being a solid choice.
Cons
Something that still bothers me is the battery drain and I'm not sure why they haven't been able to fix it. Compared with the paid Bria CounterPath app, the battery management is definitely much better there.

“too many bugs to trust”
Pros
This comes with conference calling and transfer features which is something competing products usually do not offer for free.
Cons
It does not retain call history and it can even block you from answering calls on a registered line. Attended transfers are handled through a very confusing and frustrating interface and there are countless bugs and problems overall. Because of that, this system really does not feel suitable for real use beyond trying it out once or twice for testing.

“Lets me stay connected from anywhere”
Pros
Using this software is very easy and it lets our team work remotely while still staying connected with each other.
Cons
An issue I've run into is with the mobile app on my Android phone, where it won't work properly for me when I'm connected to Wi Fi.

“reliable global calling for teams”
Pros
Across our company's four offices spread over three continents, this has become a key part of how we handle communication. Our sales staff are constantly traveling and GS Wave is the app they rely on to stay in touch both internally and with external contacts. We've had a very positive experience with it especially because it keeps working reliably even when team members are abroad in countries where we don't even have offices. On top of that, setting up the system for each extension was very easy. The platform is flexible enough to handle more complex needs too, such as allowing the SIP extension to forward and dial a direct mobile number whenever the intended person is offline or has no internet connection. Because of that, important calls don't get missed even when someone is out of coverage.
Cons
One major frustration is what happens when a regular mobile call comes in while you're already on a GS Wave call. The app call can suddenly drop and the only way to keep talking is to reject the incoming mobile call and go back into the app. When someone keeps calling repeatedly, it becomes extremely irritating and disruptive. I'd really like Grandstream to address and fix this problem.
