“consistent call quality”
Pros
Call quality stays consistently excellent and the platform itself has been very stable which is essential for our day to day operations. Implementation and integration were also a big advantage since we were able to connect it with our existing systems and get the team working quickly without much trouble. The interface is user friendly too so employees picked it up fast and the learning curve was minimal.
Cons
That said, there are still a couple of areas where it could be better. Customer support can be a little slow to respond at times especially when something urgent comes up and we need help right away. On top of that the reporting and analytics tools, while still useful, come across as somewhat basic. It would be much better to have more advanced customization options and the ability to create reports that match our specific business metrics more closely.

“powerful automations”
Pros
One of the biggest strengths here is the SmartFlows builder. It's low code and makes it possible to build fairly complex workflows without needing a lot of heavy coding. Compared with platforms like Replicant or Chatfuel, this goes further when it comes to automation depth. The SmartAnalytics dashboard is also very useful for seeing real time ROI insights and the customer support has been notably strong as well.
Cons
There is definitely a steeper learning curve for non technical teams and pricing can also be a concern. Aside from that, it is a solid option overall. For teams that want technical independence, quick time to value and clear ROI visibility, it remains a compelling platform.

“reduces manual work”
Pros
It really stands out for automating communications with AI. Tools like SmartAgent and SmartFlows use conversational AI to handle a lot of the routine work for agents which helps cut hold times, reduce manual tasks and create noticeable savings for contact centers.
Cons
I haven't noticed anything that I didn't like while using this.

Cloud based communication has helped improve the customer experience while also lowering costs.

“very chaotic billing”
Pros
While it worked like it was supposed to the billing disaster they put us through made using this a horrible experience.
Cons
We were originally quoted $250 for a set number of users and were billed that amount for the first month but after that the monthly charges jumped to $600 $1000 based on usage. I spent months trying to get it fixed through our rep, then our integration manager and then the VP of channel sales but each of them either quit or was let go. After all of that, I reached out to accounts receivable and they were basically no help at all. Eventually, a director contacted me and explained that the account had been set up and quoted incorrectly at the beginning and that the higher billing was supposedly the correct amount. They offered to credit the first four months so it would align with the original quote even though by then we were already seven months in. After pushing back, they adjusted two more months but still told me I'd need to pay three to four times the quoted price going forward. I made it clear, as professionally as I could, how unreasonable that was but I agreed to continue. That was more than two months ago and they are still struggling to get our invoices sorted out even after we already made a payment on the previous ones.

“pricey learning curve”
Pros
Across our organization, this tool has really solid to use for meetings and scheduling. Its clustering and consistency features are especially impressive since they help connect voice processing tasks with message based transfers in a very organized way.
Cons
Compared with other mainstream communication platforms, IntelePeer sits on the expensive side. On top of that a lot of the features aren't very user friendly so they can be hard to understand and put to use during normal day to day operations.
