“Lets you connect with anyone from anywhere”

Pros

The platform's approach is exactly what I love about it. The ability to connect with anyone from anywhere is a huge advantage. The biggest highlight for me is its Microsoft Teams integration especially since so many of my customers and really the market overall, are strategically moving toward Teams. Right now, there are only three cloud interop providers officially certified for Microsoft Teams integration and in my opinion, Pexip handles it better than the rest.

Cons

At this point the limitation is that connectivity into the Microsoft Teams environment is still one way. Once Pexip adds bi directional calling between Teams and traditional video conferencing environments, it will be very difficult to come up with any real downsides.

“well designed layout”

Pros

It feels like a very well engineered product and the software is simple to configure. It performs reliably across many different setups because it has clearly been carefully designed and thoroughly tested. The features people need most are placed near the top of the configuration pages and the default settings already suit most use cases right away.

Cons

I've heard the H.323 feature set is fairly limited and I still work with customers who rely on H.323. Even though H.323 is much less common now and will probably continue to fade over time for video, I'd still like to see a few more features added in that area. The reason is that I sometimes use its bridge like a Rosetta Stone between major video platforms and supporting older systems becomes much easier when there are more H.323 capabilities available.

“user friendly platform”

Pros

After reviewing and testing a lot of vendors in this space, this stood out as one of the few true interoperability providers. It really brings structure to what can otherwise be a very confusing environment. None of the other options we evaluated or ran POCs with matched the depth of features it offers especially at its price point. Support has also been excellent. The same core team handles cases, response times are quick and that consistency makes a big difference. On top of that it's user friendly, runs as a stable Unix appliance, is simple to upgrade and has a very solid management interface.

Cons

Sometimes, there can almost be too many options. For non IT users, that amount of choice can be overwhelming and I've seen people get confused when too much is exposed to them. Simpler tends to work better. To their credit, this has gotten better with the newer web app in version 20.

“helpful support”

Pros

The call quality has been excellent, end users have no trouble using it and the branding portal along with the support team have both been really strong.

Cons

One thing that's still missing is the option to turn entry and exit tones on or off directly from the GUI.
