“fairly priced”

Pros

Getting started was pretty simple, the pricing felt reasonable and the team was really helpful when it came to getting everything set up and running properly.

Cons

There are still a couple of minor things we've noticed that don't work quite right on some of the PCs in our office.

“Secure local storage”

Pros

One of the best things about this app is that it isn't subscription based. All user data stays stored locally instead of in the cloud which makes it feel much more secure. The messages are laid out like traditional paper phone slips which is a nice touch. Each user gets their own account without needing an email address and the customization options along with the global user rules are really useful. Installation and updates are easy and their customer support has been excellent.

Cons

The interface doesn't follow a more modern design style so it can be a bit difficult for new users to pick up and fully understand at first.

“all texts in one place”

Pros

Right from the start it has been incredibly simple to use and does a really nice job of keeping every message organized in one place. Being able to add follow up notes is a huge plus and having the option to print messages whenever needed has also been very helpful. Any time I've had a question, the customer service team has been fantastic to work with. We've used PhonePad for many years now and fully expect to keep using it for many more.

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike about it.

“helpful message history”

Pros

Keeping a history of telephone messages is really useful and has been a strong point for me.

Cons

It's missing the ability to integrate with my billing software, STI's TABS3 which is something I would definitely want.

“excellent client connectivity”

Pros

This has been a really useful tool for staying connected across the office with staff and it's also a strong resource for keeping client contact information organized. It's especially helpful that I can still receive messages when I'm away from my desk.

Cons

Something I'd still like to see is more contact information included on the "general" tab, such as the address and all contact phone numbers, along with a notes/comments section.

“Forwarding messages is convenient”

Pros

Keeping everything digital is a huge plus. I no longer have to dig around looking for messages and replying to or forwarding them is really convenient.

Cons

The one thing missing is a phone app. That would be a really nice addition so I could stay connected while I'm on the move.

“no need to take notes anymore”

Pros

PhonePad really simplifies how messages are taken and gets rid of the whole sticky note system which makes things much more organized.

Cons

Only slight downside is the time difference with tech support but honestly it hasn't really caused any problems. Whenever I've had a chance to upgrade or move things along, the team has responded quickly and kept everything progressing.

“Outdated interface”

Pros

Its logical design works really well and being able to integrate it with our other software has been genuinely useful. It's also flexible enough to customize based on what our firm needs.

Cons

Its interface feels outdated and I'd really like to see more features for tracking every interaction with a client especially the ability to include all communication such as emails.

“helpful support team”

Pros

Right away, the support has been the standout for me. It's also been nice not having paper notes scattered all over my desk anymore. I'm really hoping the software keeps improving as time goes on.

Cons

I'm still new to it so at this point I really don't have any complaints.

“organized notes”

Pros

This is mostly simple to use especially if your notes usually end up messy like mine.

Cons

Updating to newer versions can be more confusing than it looks, at least in my case.

“Packed with useful features”

Pros

The app is much more than a basic telephone messaging tool. It comes with a lot of features and I still have not had the chance to use all of them yet.

Cons

One issue I do run into is that it does not always open on the first try. Sometimes I have to attempt it a few times before it finally opens.

“reliable message handling”

Pros

Running in the background without any fuss, it does exactly what I need it to do. It keeps phone messages organized, lets us respond when needed, works well across our internal network and basically delivers on everything it says it will.

Cons

There are quite a few extra features built in that I really don't use especially the email integration. Maybe I'd get more value from that if I spent time learning it but right now I just ignore those parts and stick to the features I actually need. A more scaled down version for smaller businesses would probably make a lot of sense.

“Quick to teach”

Pros

Getting started was very simple. It didn't take long to learn and showing other team members how to use it has been just as simple which is especially helpful since we regularly have a lot of short term employees.

Cons

At first the search feature gave us some trouble and took a bit of time to understand. Once we got the hang of it though, it actually turned into our favorite feature.

Keeping track of incoming calls and the follow up communication tied to those calls has been really useful.

“efficiently manages calls”

Pros

For more than 25 years I've used this tool at every dealership I've worked in and it has consistently been the best way to handle heavy call volume. It really works like a visual voicemail system which makes managing calls much more efficient.

Cons

We've loved every part of this software. It's simple to use and it helps us keep stress under control when call volumes spike during peak hours.

“paperless intake win”

Pros

This has really helped us switch over to paperless intakes and keep track of calls much better. We're not dealing with lost messages anymore which has made a big difference.

Cons

I wish there were a mobile app. I spend a lot of my time on my phone when I'm out of the office so being tied to my computer can be frustrating.

“User friendly interface”

Pros

The interface is very user friendly and I really like how the messages are formatted. It also automatically saves contacts which makes things much more convenient.

Cons

One frustrating issue is that sent messages don't show up unless I close the program and sign back in.
