“fast response time by support”
Pros
Support gets back to you very quickly even when the issue involves hardware that isn't officially supported. We also ran into a few complications while porting our phone number block from our previous provider which wasn't caused by Placetel and they still handled it well. The case was escalated to 3rd level support and resolved within a few hours.
Cons
Right from the beginning, we explained that we needed to migrate several sites with more than 100 users and were assured this would not be an issue. Later, when we noticed there were no visible options for managing multiple sites or importing users, we contacted customer service and were told those features had to be manually activated for our account. To their credit, they enabled them quickly. Still, it felt like a bit of unnecessary back and forth because our requirements had not been properly passed on from sales to the technical team.

“strong value product”
Pros
This feels like a committed company with a transparent product portfolio and a very strong price performance ratio. The account setup was done quickly and the video academy and webinars are genuinely helpful. Whenever support is needed, the assistance is also very good.
Cons
As with many providers, product changes and adjustments could still be handled a bit more smoothly.

“reliable calling from anywhere”
Pros
I set up this platform more than seven years ago and have been a very satisfied customer ever since. Around a year and a half ago, I switched to Webex through Placetel and that transition was incredibly smooth. Since then, everything has continued to run reliably and simply does what it's supposed to do without me needing to adjust or monitor anything. I really enjoy the user experience and the conferencing features are excellent. As a freelancer, having a fixed landline number is something I truly value. It means I can be reached whether I'm working from my home office, on the move or abroad. I've installed Webex on all of my devices so I stay reachable everywhere, no matter which device I'm using at the time. The pricing is also fair and predictable for me as a freelancer. I always know exactly what my monthly costs will be. Another thing I appreciate is that the tool keeps evolving and regularly adds new integrations. It gives me the sense that I'm staying current and that my whole availability setup is permanently taken care of. That peace of mind feels really good and is absolutely worth the money.
Cons
Intially the setup wasn't completely self explanatory. I did need support to help me finish the last few steps although once I reached out, everything was handled quickly and without hassle. I assume the onboarding experience has probably been improved and simplified a lot by now. The older version of the software also felt a bit overloaded at first glance if all you wanted was a simple solution though the trade off is that you do get many more options when you eventually need them. One more thing I noticed was that I didn't use or even need some of the features at first because they felt too extensive for someone working alone. Back then, I definitely would have appreciated a more compact quick start guide or a lighter version aimed at freelancers and small businesses.

“Future proof solution”
Pros
It delivers maximum flexibility as a cloud communication solution, paired with the latest Webex technology and GDPR compliant security. Businesses benefit from scalable features for telephony, meetings and call centers. With this, customers get a future proof all in one solution from a single provider.
Cons
After being a consistently satisfied Placetel partner for nearly 10 years, I honestly haven't had any negative experiences to mention. The partnership has always been built on trust, stability and innovative solutions for our customers.
