“Solid value”

Pros

It delivers very good value for the price. The platform feels user friendly and direct and the language used is clear and easy to follow. I do have to mention that the connection in Italy can be a bit slow but with some patience, it is still possible to work with it without major issues. Overall, it's a very good product and we have been satisfied with the service.

Cons

I really don't have any negative feedback to share about it.

“budget friendly calling app”

Pros

Working with this has been really easy especially when connecting it to our own platforms. It doesn't need many resources to run well which makes a big difference and it's also a much more affordable option. The support team has been extremely helpful whenever needed and it also works with most AI systems which adds a lot of value.

Cons

There's honestly not much to complain about with the app itself. Most of the problems tend to come from your own network and when that happens, Twilio can sometimes start acting up too.

“templates are useful”

Pros

This works well when it comes to integrations and adding templates is a nice touch. Importing them is easy, admin access is reliable and the chat feature is simple to use.

Cons

The email sending feature in it really falls short. That part needs improvement.

“quick omnichannel setup”

Pros

Right from the start, it felt very easy to work with and the interface is clean which makes the overall experience much better. It also stands out for how customizable it is, giving us plenty of room to adapt the system to fit our specific needs. The phone and chat integration works well too so agents can manage calls and chats at the same time which boosts their efficiency and helps our contact center run more effectively overall.

Cons

A few plugins created issues with our systems.

“fits our requirements”

Pros

It gives us a standout level of flexibility and customization which has made it possible to shape a contact center experience that fits our business requirements closely. It connects nicely with the tools we already use, including our CRM and workforce management systems and the API first design gives our developers the freedom to create custom workflows. Being able to customize both the agent and supervisor experience, along with having strong real time visibility through Flex Insights, has been a major win for improving and fine tuning our support operations.

Cons

That same flexibility comes with a tradeoff since it takes a fairly heavy technical effort and continued development support to get the most out of the platform. The out of the box UI and reporting are fairly limited so they usually need added customization before they can satisfy most enterprise level requirements. On top of that because so many capabilities follow a build it yourself model making changes quickly can be difficult without dedicated engineering help. A more user friendly admin experience or a broader set of pre built components would make ongoing management much simpler.

“Reporting is overly complicated”

Pros

The agent interface keeps things simple which is definitely a plus.

Cons

Reporting feels far too complicated. Also, during live SMS interactions, you can't switch to a full screen view when it's running inside an integration.

“simple design”

Pros

Something that I really appreciate is its clean and simple design. The functions are quick to use and easy to understand which helps us work efficiently and maximize sales opportunities.

Cons

A frustrating part of using this tool is the bugs. If a customer doesn't respond for 5 minutes, the system sends an automated message. This usually happens during the recap stage, when customers need extra time to read everything. If another chat message gets sent, a second automated system message goes out 3 minutes later and the chat gets closed which can cost us the sale. The workaround I've used is sending another message before the 5 minute mark to keep that from happening.

“excellent agent workflow”

Pros

The agent experience has been really good, with a very user friendly interface and the Zendesk integration works really well.

Cons

Reporting can be a bit confusing at times and the integration with WFM platforms could definitely be better.

“limited integrations”

Pros

One thing that stood out right away was being able to view the call waveforms for both sides of the conversation which made it much simpler to tell who was speaking on a recorded call. It also helped to clearly spot hold times and the masked sections of the conversation at a glance.

Cons

Twilio doesn't connect with enough systems which makes a lot of the workflow feel more manual than it should. It also can't integrate with QA management platforms that would make coaching and feedback much easier to handle. On top of that the reporting tools are pretty limited.
