“Powerful voice API integrations”
Pros
Twilio has consistently been a benchmark in the communications space. Its API is very advanced and it integrates well with a wide range of development projects.
Cons
Pricing could be more affordable and the dashboard's internal administration should be more user friendly. The process for unsubscribing from a service also needs to be easier.

“gets the job done”
Pros
It gets the job done even if the process feels a bit frustrating. It provides secure access and keeps me connected with the team.
Cons
Since I used it through a customized platform, navigating it has felt pretty difficult. I still end up checking the help guides regularly and while the security measures are important, they also mean frequent repeated logins.

“cost efficient tool”
Pros
When it comes to handling calls at scale, nothing else on the market really matches this on cost. The API access is a huge plus too since it gives you complete control over all of your call data.
Cons
It's not especially user friendly for people without a programming background. That said, a non technical person can still get it working by following a detailed step by step tutorial for their specific use case.

“easy to customize omnichannel campaigns”
Pros
This tool stands out for its flexibility and scalability. The APIs are powerful and make it possible to build and customize omnichannel campaigns without much limitation. It also brings together SMS, email and voice, along with conversational AI features which makes the platform feel very capable. Another plus is the documentation, our developers appreciate how clear and helpful it is.
Cons
One thing I really don't care for is the way they handle the business side. Their sales and support teams aren't always very transparent about what your company actually needs to purchase especially since they offer so many different products. It can leave you feeling overcharged and stuck paying for tools you didn't really need. On top of that setting everything up properly takes fairly technical developers since they expect you to handle a lot of the implementation yourself which is likely part of how they keep their pricing lower.

“fast lead alerts integration”
Pros
Getting it connected to my WordPress site was quick and it let me set up notifications for lead captures and form submissions without much effort.
Cons
The configuration options are flexible and powerful but the overall user experience and workflow could be refined to make things less confusing.

“poor support capabilitie”
Pros
There wasn't anything positive in my experience. Even after paying and going through more than five campaign reviews, they still couldn't get my profile set up and the customer service was poor throughout.
Cons
It's MFA requirements are extremely unclear and getting a campaign approved feels nearly impossible. On top of that customer service is unhelpful and doesn't provide the clarity needed to move anything forward.

“Smooth messaging performance”
Pros
It has been the most reliable messaging solution in our product suite and it helps create a smooth experience for our users.
Cons
Pricing is on the higher side which becomes tougher to justify as the company grows and scales. Other providers may become more appealing as they get more competitive on cost.

“highly customizable”
Pros
The programmable messaging APIs gave us a lot of control over how our SMS campaigns run especially for event reminders and time sensitive promotions. It feels like using a telecom platform that's as customizable as writing code.
Cons
There is definitely a bit of a learning curve especially if you're not already familiar with APIs or cloud based communication workflows. It really works best when there's some developer involvement.

“reliable campaigns after setup”
Pros
This makes it easy to set up campaigns for phone numbers and related services. The approval process can take a while but once everything gets approved, it works really well.
Cons
Getting the campaign and overall setup in place can feel a bit frustrating so it's worth expecting to go through the configuration more than once.

“clear interface”
Pros
Interface is logical to navigate and packed with helpful information so getting to what I needed didn't take much effort.
Cons
I just wish the trial period lasted longer so there was enough time to review KPIs and confirm whether it's the right fit.

“Competitive pricing”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility to manage the marketing budget independently. The pricing is competitive, customer support is reliable and the team is clearly committed. It also gives good visibility into spending, with the option to set up multiple accounts when needed.
Cons
On the downside, custom connectors still need to be developed. The RCS service is somewhat limited and the consent management features are fairly basic. In most cases, you'll probably need a custom integration to handle opt in and opt out processes between Twilio and your CRM or consent management system.

“creates advanced messaging workflow”
Pros
Twilio lets us send SMS alerts order notifications and appointment reminders directly to our customers' phones. The platform is very flexible which is a big plus as we can customize it to fit exactly what we need, whether that's sending a one off alert or creating more advanced messaging workflows for promotions.
Cons
There's definitely a learning curve if you're not very technical. It took us some time to get all the settings configured properly and once you start looking at more advanced features like two way messaging or WhatsApp integration, the cost can climb pretty quickly.

“frustrating verification nightmare”
Pros
The platform itself seems fairly easy to use, at least when support is actually aligned. Building call flows is simple enough and the voice products sound polished and professional.
Cons
The customer verification process was far more complicated and inefficient than it needed to be. Even after I sent complete information about my LLC, business purpose and intended use case in my first reply, three different support agents came back with the exact same verification requests, asking me to resubmit identical details each time. It felt like there was no communication at all between their support teams which turned what should have been a basic setup into days of unnecessary back and forth. On top of that the toll free number I had already purchased was still unusable and only returned busy signals when called. For a company that presents itself as developer friendly and focused on smooth integration, the onboarding experience completely failed to live up to that claim. The whole verification ordeal became so exhausting that I seriously thought about dropping the service and moving to a competitor instead. After dealing with this, I have real doubts about their operational efficiency and how much they actually prioritize customers.

“quick setup”
Pros
This offers impressive integration options and getting the software up and running is simple.
Cons
It's pricing is quite a bit higher than Wati so it would be better if the implementation cost were reduced.

Pros
A very capable and useful tool that gets the job done directly and works without issues.
Cons

“cover a wide range of functionality”
Pros
It does cover a wide range of functionality, with plenty of features that can fit many different use cases.
Cons
The bigger problem is how unreliable the interface and services are overall. That might have been less frustrating if the support team had stronger product knowledge and could actually resolve issues but after dealing with Twilio support several times, it really feels like they are not given the training or resources needed to help customers properly.

“powerful messaging app”
Pros
WhatsApp messaging is a big plus here. The online admin interface is easy to use and integrating it with an existing setup was pretty simple overall.
