“scheduled reports that keep me updated”
Pros
Having scheduled reports sent straight to my inbox at set times has been really helpful. It lets me check the daily status and history of assets without needing to do anything manually which saves time and keeps everything visible.
Cons
There were times when mobile scanning on iOS or Android became slow especially when the network connection was weak.

“asset tracking keeps us ahead”
Pros
Keeping up with asset condition and service schedules is much easier with AssetCloud. It gives me the visibility I need to plan ahead instead of scrambling when something suddenly breaks down. Knowing exactly when tools need calibration or replacement makes a big difference in staying proactive.
Cons
One issue comes up when I want to limit how easily junior staff can edit asset details. Setting those permissions the right way takes more effort than I would prefer.

“managing assets across locations”
Pros
Right away, this tool stood out for its simple, user-friendly interface. It made tracking, managing and auditing assets feel very efficient and well organized, even across multiple locations.
Cons
At the beginning the setup process was frustrating because the sales rep kept brushing me off with excuses about meeting. I ended up escalating the issue to the Sales Manager, who then supported me through every step.

“Better tracking by category”
Pros
Having everything organized by category has been really helpful and once we came up with a workaround for the Location and Site setup, it got a bit easier to keep track of where everything is.
Cons
The Location and Site fields are still an issue. I really think they should be changed to City and Location and it's frustrating not being able to customize those fields the right way.

“clean dashboard and constant updates”
Pros
Accessing the platform from multiple devices has been really convenient. The cloud system comes with a clean, user-friendly dashboard and the developer keeps improving it with frequent updates and new features.
Cons
The part that feels the most limiting is customizing reports to fit our company's specific needs. Report editing could be more user-friendly for the end user since employees often come to me for help when they need to adjust reports, even though the platform already includes many out-of-the-box reporting options.

“Cloud-based with flexible depreciation”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is that it's cloud-based which makes it really convenient to access. I also appreciate being able to recalculate depreciation whenever needed.
Cons
Because this was migrated over from an older system, I sometimes run into issues when searching for an asset. At times, a name won't appear even when the search term is clearly part of it. I'm also still figuring out how to set up my report fields so I don't have to redo them every single time.

“Flexible asset tracking anywhere”
Pros
AssetCloud gives our organization a lot of flexibility when it comes to adding, auditing and maintaining assets, whether we're in the office or working remotely from any device with an internet connection.
Cons
An area that could be improved is data importing from other applications or files like CSVs. The import process needs to be more robust.. if new data is introduced for tables such as vendor, it should ask for the missing details instead of simply failing with an error.

“powerful search for huge libraries”
Pros
Searching by keywords and phrases makes it simple to sort through my library of 25,000+ assets. I often need to pull content for a specific event or person so having a search feature that works this well is a big advantage.
Cons
One thing that still gets frustrating is not being able to mass edit certain asset groups when details like location or site change. If I move an event from one shelf to another, updating the information across all related assets is difficult.

“anywhere access for campus checks”
Pros
Having access to information from anywhere has been really useful. It helps a lot when we're walking around campus and checking on devices.
Cons
You can't simply do a true bulk import for device information. Instead users have to upload several files to get the same result as a bulk upload.

“Flexible inventory tracking”
Pros
AssetCloud gives us a lot of flexibility. We can set up as many custom fields as needed to fit the way we manage our assets. The inventory maintenance and audit capabilities have been especially valuable and support for multi-quantity assets has been a huge advantage for us.
Cons
The search feature feels somewhat limited. There's also no option to enforce uniqueness on custom fields which would have been really helpful in preventing duplicate inventory records.

“logical setup and responsive support”
Pros
Getting started with AssetCloud was simple and the support team has been excellent. The system is organized in a very logical way and one feature I really appreciate is being able to track items whether they're being worked on by IT or simply assigned to a user.
Cons
I really haven't run into any issues. The product does what it says it will do and anytime something more complex comes up, the support staff is available and willing to help.

“Detailed asset tracking wins”
Pros
Keeping tabs on assets is crucial when you have a lot of employees or students and this software handles that really well. I really appreciated being able to monitor calibration dates along with depreciation. It also lets you be extremely specific about an item's location, whether that's a particular shelf, desk drawer or another exact spot.
Cons
Biggest downside is the setup work since every item has to be entered one by one. There's no automatic way for it to instantly pull in your full inventory.

“reliable support and simple setup”
Pros
Setting up this software has been very simple and the system feels very user-friendly. Tech support has also been excellent. We've only been using it for about a month but it already seems like it will handle everything we need without much trouble.
Cons
The mobile side is a bit difficult to work with and one of the scanners we received was defective. That said Wasp handled the issue really well and quickly sent a replacement.

“Powerful reporting for planning”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how much detail the system provides especially through the reporting. Being able to quickly view each department's current inventory is incredibly valuable and makes planning much more effective.
Cons
More control over required fields would make it better. For certain devices, it would help if the admin could decide which fields are mandatory since those requirements can vary depending on the specific item.

“Frustrating sorting”
Pros
The ability to add custom fields is decent. Beyond that there really is not much else that stands out to me in a positive way. The downsides outweigh the benefits by quite a bit and overall I have been very disappointed with it.
Cons
The biggest issue for me is that it does not sort numerically. I could list plenty of other problems but this is the one I dislike the most. The only way I can still get any value from it is by switching Assets and Serial numbers to work around how the system is set up.

“real-time tracking done right”
Pros
Adding new assets is simple and being able to track them in real time makes a big difference day to day. The scannable barcodes are also a really nice bonus.
Cons

“Buggy cloud interface frustrations”
Pros
We had a good experience with the older on-prem version we purchased about 10 years ago. Once we learned there was a cloud-based option, we expected it would give us more value because it could be accessed more conveniently. At this point, the main benefit is that we can reach the website from anywhere on our network.
Cons
Compared with the old version, the cloud interface feels buggy and takes too long to load and even the fields are slow to populate. Clearing filters that were already applied is unnecessarily frustrating. After their recent interface update, it also broke the late notifications we had configured to send to customers.

“Helpful training and durable labels”
Pros
Being comfortable with AssetCloud takes a little time but once you learn how everything works, it's very user-friendly. The training sessions make a big difference and are really useful. Being able to order durable labels is another big advantage.
Cons
I'm overall very happy with AssetCloud but I'd really like to have a bulk edit or mass update feature for multiple assets instead of having to update them one by one. It would also be helpful if AssetCloud could connect with laptops, tablets and desktops to show live diagnostics or display the most recent login on a laptop to make ownership verification more accurate.

Pros
It's really improved the way we keep track of all kinds of assets, not just tech equipment but also hardware, furniture and other items. Having everything managed in one place has made the process much more efficient for us.

Pros
The interface is user-friendly, simple to understand and practical to use day to day. It also offers plenty of options for managing all kinds of assets and inventory which makes it very flexible.
Cons
the large number of available options can feel a bit overwhelming. Having so many choices is useful overall but it can occasionally slow things down or make the system feel harder to navigate.
