“powerful reporting and access control”
Pros
Once the system is fully populated the search and reporting functions work really well. It's also very useful being able to restrict role-based access so only the right people can view certain information or make updates. There are a huge number of attributes that can be filled in which makes it valuable not just for Finance but for Asset Managers as well.
Cons
There's such a large amount of information in the system that it can sometimes be difficult to work out where certain details are or where they're supposed to be stored.

Pros
The biggest benefit of Assetic is the visibility it gives me across the Council's large asset portfolio. It not only delivers high-level insight into finances, asset age and overall asset condition but also lets me drill down into specific details through a user-friendly interface.
Cons
It didn't support the asset management and asset accounting functions.
