“Reliable tracking and inventory control

Pros

After six months of using the platform to track software assets, I've been genuinely impressed by how capable it is. The system gives accurate, real-time asset data which helps me monitor and manage everything much more efficiently. The mobile app is also very user-friendly so keeping track of assets while away from my desk has been convenient. One feature I especially value is the ability to monitor spare and consumable assets since it has made my inventory management process much more organized. Overall I'm happy with the software and would definitely recommend it to others.

Cons

One area that needs improvement is the response time from customer support, as the delays made it harder to get issues resolved quickly. I'd really like to see Asset Infinity bring their support speed up to the same standard as the software itself. Even with that drawback I still recommend the product and hope their customer service improves over time.

Right away Asset Infinity stood out because of its user-friendly interface and simple features. Everything felt simple to use which made the overall experience much better.

Cons

The support team was extremely helpful the whole time although there were a few small delays while getting everything set up. Once the system was fully in place though it ended up exceeding our expectations by a wide margin.

Everything has worked really well overall. The only thing I'd still want added is a note feature so whenever the admin team makes any changes, they can leave a comment or explanation with it.

Using this software has been a really good experience because it's user-friendly and comes with a lot of useful features. It lets us handle inventory, assets and ticketing all in one platform which is very convenient. The reporting options are also extensive and being able to generate different kinds of reports has been very helpful. Another big plus is the backend support which is readily available and very responsive whenever needed.

At times the system runs quite slowly and the mobile/handset support is not very good.

Getting this up and running was simple and it has been very useful for tracking both preventive maintenance and assets. The system is user-friendly for site users and not overly complicated to operate. They also customized the PDF format based on our requirements which has helped us a lot. On the reporting side, it's convenient to monitor things with the infographic-based view.

The occurrence settings need more options, such as bi-monthly, bi-yearly, quarterly, bi-weekly and a one-time (ad hoc) choice. It would also be useful to have a calendar option for defining public holidays so PM generation can be excluded on those days. Right now, the custom option is not really suitable because in date-based recurrence calculations, it starts falling on the wrong date and even the wrong month over a long period of time.

Using AIT has been really convenient and the platform is simple to work with. The team is supportive and genuinely helpful and they respond quickly whenever a customer has an issue or a question. Overall it feels completely reliable.

Cons

It seems like the tool still has a lot of room to grow especially when it comes to automation. The AIT team should put more focus on expanding automation features for clients so there is less manual work involved. Agent-based inventory management at a reasonable price would also be a valuable addition. Interactive reporting, such as dashboards, should be included as well.

One thing that's still missing is an option to resend the email for purchase requisition approval.

The workflows and UI are really well done. Integration was simple and the ability to customize the workflow makes the platform fit our process much better.

One thing that could make it even better is allowing customized workflows to be created directly through the front end since that would be a really valuable feature.

A feature that works really well is being able to raise issues using the asset serial number and then follow the repair progress with real-time status updates. The screens are also very user-friendly which makes the system comfortable to use day to day.

Reporting still has room for improvement especially around KPI and SLA reports. At the moment, I need to export the data to Excel and build the reports there to get what I need.
