solid value with SQL support

Pros

It offers a strong set of features for the price and the fact that it runs on SQL works well for us since we already use that for other applications.

Cons

The search functionality feels a bit buggy for what we need. With some customization, the results could probably be improved.

custom reports BUT limited fields

Pros

The level of customization in this application is really impressive.. I could modify almost every field to fit the way I work. It also handles reporting well, from simple reports to much more advanced ones. The paid add-ons expand what the software can do, including exporting data to CSV/XLS and accessing it through a web browser. Throughout the entire time I used it, I never ran into any bugs.

Cons

Eventually I hit a limit with the number of usable fields in my client records. Since there's no option to add more custom fields, this became one of the biggest reasons my business outgrew the software. The web-based version was decent but it felt much slower and more restricted than the standard interface so I eventually quit using it. I also bought the RBI add-on but it didn't really help me out in the field and wasn't the solution I had hoped for.

license issues and no support

Pros

At one point it worked reasonably well and the system itself seemed fairly flexible. The problem is that we still haven't been able to get the new software license activated and tech support.. if you can even call it that.. has been no help at all.

Cons

We originally paid for the non-subscription version but when it stopped working they would not resend the license. Instead, they told us to buy the new subscription-based version. Even after doing that, we still can't get the license key to load and support has done nothing to resolve it. There's no live assistance either, only email support.

Steady overall

Pros

It handles most of the things I need it to do and stays fairly stable and dependable while I'm using it.

Cons

The subscription pricing is a downside and it's frustrating that support is unavailable and even forum posting is locked unless you pay for it.
