“flexible cloud access”
Pros
Being cloud-based is a big advantage. I can log in and use the program from any laptop or computer which makes it really convenient.
Cons
One frustrating part is that if something is missed in the report and it gets closed, there's no way to go back and edit it. The preview also doesn't show everything clearly. I also miss having a field for instrument parameters, such as measuring range and output.

“good cloud calibration platform”
Pros
CompuCal works really well as a calibration and maintenance management system especially for companies with a large installed base and a high volume of work orders throughout the year. It provides clear, easy-to-read overviews of both the installed base and the work that is coming up which makes planning much easier. Nearly everything can be exported to Excel for further data analysis and if a specific report is not available, they can usually create it because their knowledge of the system is extensive. Since the application is cloud-based, it can be accessed from anywhere as long as you have the link and we have never run into downtime during operating hours. It is also obvious that they are committed to improving CompuCal, with yearly updates that refine existing functions and introduce new ones.
Cons
One area that still needs improvement is the scheduling within CompuCal. They are working on it but at the moment it is still more practical to export the work orders to Excel with one click and handle the scheduling there using a Pivot table or a similar tool.

“smart software and excellent support”
Pros
Everything about the tool feels self-explanatory so getting started and using it doesn't take much effort. The software is very flexible and the customer support has been excellent both before the sale and after it.
Cons
Honestly there really aren't any features in this software that I dislike.

“Reliable instrument tracking and support”
Pros
Having an instrument-based database with plenty of fields to complete makes organizing everything much more practical. The system is simple to use, the training is helpful and the after-sales support has been solid. I also appreciate that the software keeps improving through regular updates.
Cons
The page design feels a little outdated and there are a few minor bugs here and there although they are gradually being resolved with new updates.

“Calibration control”
Pros
Handling calibration management for all our instruments is much more simple with this software. Whenever we need data shown in a different format, the standard system usually gives us a few built-in ways to present it. It's a very flexible, adaptable and scalable solution overall. On top of that, the support team is outstanding whenever we need help, whether it's creating a new certificate layout or advising us on the best way to handle something specific.
Cons
I really don't have any issues with this software. It's been good for us.

“always available in the cloud”
Pros
Being cloud-based, the software is available whenever we need it and it doesn't require any IT effort on our side.
Cons
Getting the assets set up took quite a bit of planning but the CompuCal experts were there to help throughout the process.

“Well-laid-out interface and useful filters”
Pros
Getting around the software feels very simple and the interface is organized in a way that makes everything clear. When looking up instruments, the filtering options are really helpful since they let us search using plenty of criteria, including by customer or other identifiers.
Cons
CompuCal is a key part of how our business operates and honestly, I haven't run into any downside to using the application.

“cool calibration with solid support”
Pros
CompuCal does a really good job on the technical compliance side and it's simple to use without much hassle. It's also flexible enough to fit different needs, reasonably priced and backed by responsive customer service and technical support.
Cons
The software works very well for calibration but its maintenance management features are more limited. Areas like work orders, facilities support and similar functions could be stronger.

“accurate scheduling, slow graph exports”
Pros
Using the software is fairly simple and it does a reliable job when it comes to calibration accuracy and keeping maintenance schedules on track.
Cons
I do wish there were more guidance so I could make better use of the software overall. Pulling graphs from the system also takes some time especially when exporting a large volume of them.

“Clear asset tracking value”
Pros
The linked titles and screen tabs make navigation simple and the information you need is laid out clearly with all the key details visible. It also gives plenty of room to add as much information as necessary for each asset which is really useful. One of the biggest advantages is the value for money, as it offers a lot without costing too much.
Cons
We are still using an older internal version of the software (Version 6.2.0.4.1) and quite a few screens and reports are slow to load and refresh. I have been told the current version performs much faster. Reporting also lacks some of the flexibility I would want although it sounds like the newer functionality has improved this to some extent.

“flexible reporting and responsive updates”
Pros
Two parts of this software have been especially valuable for us. The first is how much customization it offers in the different reports which really helps us stay on top of our daily calibration and maintenance work. Another big plus is the way the product keeps evolving. The team behind it pays attention to what users need and, when possible, turns those requests into new features in upcoming releases.
Cons
One area that still needs work is the planning and scheduling side. Right now, we have to rely on a few workarounds and it would be much better if those tasks could be handled directly within the software.

“Powerful calibration management”
Pros
Handling calibration scheduling for each client has been excellent. We work with several clients and manage all calibration activity through CompuCal. The software keeps things simple while still offering plenty of capability. Continued development has added useful new features and the offline Client app has been especially valuable because it lets us record calibration and maintenance results while out in the field. That has cut down our post-calibration admin work a lot and the boost in data security is another big plus. I should also mention the support from the CompuCal team.. they were very helpful during setup and have consistently assisted with any issues we've run into over the last two years.
Cons
All the instrument information I want is there but it's spread across a few different screens. It would be even better if that could be brought together onto one screen. That said it's more of a wish list item than an actual complaint.
