“Configurable and reliable maintenance platform”
Pros
Right from implementation, EAM360 has been highly configurable and flexible enough to cover all of our requirements, including the validations we needed in place. It has improved our operations and maintenance efficiency by giving us much better visibility into maintenance metrics which makes it easier to spot the areas that need attention. Our engineers can now enter material usage, labor hours, logs and root cause information directly into the system instead of writing everything down on paper first which has made the process much more efficient. The built-in validations also help ensure work permits are in place before any job begins which is extremely important for safety in our operations and maintenance environment. On top of that, the EAM360 team has been knowledgeable, responsive and professional throughout the implementation and over the last five years of support. They have handled process changes and additional requirements very well and we are genuinely pleased with their service and would absolutely recommend them.
Cons
We're very satisfied with EAM360 and don't have any specific drawbacks with the solution to highlight.

“user-friendly and customizable”
Pros
Even entry-level technicians can work with this tool without much trouble which says a lot about how user friendly it is. It's also customizable so it can be adjusted to fit different needs.
Cons
There really isn't anything major that stands out as needing improvement in EAM360.

“Helpful maintenance scheduling”
Pros
Our field technicians can quickly check their work schedules and record all the key details tied to each job. EAM360 has really helped our company stay on top of preventative maintenance and get those tasks completed consistently.
Cons
A challenge comes up when technicians lose internet access or their phones switch into low battery mode because some information doesn't sync immediately. After they reconnect, certain data can end up stuck in the queue. EAM360 has improved since we first started using it but there are still occasional times when the data doesn't sync properly.

“maximo mobility done right”
Pros
Built specifically for Maximo, this mobile solution brings over the core functionality really well into a mobile-friendly format with a clean, user-friendly interface. The team behind it has also been excellent to work with and has gone the extra mile to help make the implementation successful. We have only used the beacon functionality in a limited way so far but the outcome has been very encouraging. It adds useful technology for field crews by helping them identify the correct asset nearby for a work order which cuts down on searching and helps make sure the right asset is tied to the WO.
Cons
Syncing data between Maximo and the different mobile apps can be tricky. The system itself works but it takes quite a bit of planning to determine exactly which data should move and how often it needs to sync. The out-of-the-box setup was not a good fit for us initially so we had to spend time tuning the sync frequency for certain data while still keeping overall system performance balanced.

“real-time maximo workflow wins”
Pros
Well I like that i can get real-time work order notifications which has been a big plus and being able to pull up work instructions quickly really helps on the job. The interface for updating work orders and handling approvals is user-friendly and fits well with our Maximo workflow process.
Cons
The bigger hurdle wasn't really the app itself. For us the toughest part was getting the field crew comfortable with using their own devices for the application under our BYOD policy.

“Clean interface and responsive support”
Pros
Getting EAM360 Storekeeper up and running in our organization was fairly simple since we were already using EAM360 Technician and the architecture was already set up. The app is very user-friendly, with a clean interface that clearly shows the available actions so users can quickly choose what they need to do. It covers our core mobile inventory tasks, including receiving, issuing and transferring and cycle counting items. The developer is also very customer-focused and responds quickly to issue resolution and enhancement requests.
Cons
We did run into some problems with data syncing and updates but that appears to have been addressed in a recent release through the new Sync Data options and it seems to be working well for our users now.
