“everything right at hand”
Pros
Getting around the software feels very simple and just about everything I need is right at my fingertips.
Cons
One thing that's still missing is a way to track inventory or monitor expenses for a specific piece of equipment which would help a lot when deciding whether it makes more sense to repair or replace it.

“smart print adds a lot”
Pros
Getting around the system is simple and the smart print feature is something I really appreciate. It opens up a lot of possibilities and makes the platform more useful overall.
Cons
My only real issue is that I haven't seen a way to scan barcodes for asset materials. If that option exists, I'm not aware of it but having it in place would definitely help.

“Visual work orders save time”
Pros
Having every work order or asset appear right on the floor plan has been a huge win for our team. That visual context makes it much faster to understand an issue, evaluate what's going on and jump into action. Instead of spending time trying to explain to a coworker exactly where something is in the building, everyone can just look at the same drawing and immediately know the location. It cuts out a lot of back-and-forth and saves us a ton of time.
Cons
Only thing we'd really like to see is the option to upload and manage the CAD background files ourselves rather than relying on the excellent FacilityONE team each time we make a drawing update. Having that self-service capability would give the system even more flexibility than it already has.

“reliable maintenance tracking powerhouse”
Pros
Between maintenance tracking and employee hour logging, this system has been a really strong fit for us. Setting up new PMs for equipment is simple and it also makes it simple to look back at older records when needed. Out of all the systems we've worked with, this has easily been the best one.
Cons
One frustration is that existing PMs can't be updated when it comes to names or task changes. If a PM covers more than one piece of equipment, changing just one of them isn't possible without affecting the others too. We're also not a fan of the automatic logout feature especially since it has signed me out after being in the program only about 15 minutes.

“audit-ready across 14 buildings”
Pros
Managing a 32-acre campus with 14 separate buildings would have been chaotic without this application. Every building has multiple machines, all needing different spare parts, processes and procedures to keep operations running without interruptions. FacilityONE really helped us stay organized and keep our sanity especially when it came to getting through regular ISO and OSHA audits without problems.
Cons
It did take about a week to get our maintenance techs fully trained on the system but FacilityONE's sales and support team stayed with us throughout the process and were very helpful.

“Smart floor plans for work orders”
Pros
Everything connects directly to the smart floor plans which makes handling our work orders much more simple and efficient.
Cons
My only regret is that we didn't start using this system much earlier.

“Unity relearning curve”
Pros
After getting comfortable with Legacy, switching over to the updated Unity version has been tough. Training has been available but the layout and overall format changed so much that it feels like learning a completely different system and I still haven't put in the time to fully adjust.
Cons
Working with PM work orders has been frustrating. It should be much simpler to remove duplicates and update the default assigned employee.

“powerful reporting and job tracking”
Pros
Running reports is really simple, the search tools work well and keeping track of jobs across the facility is simple. Of all the job-tracking systems I've used, this is the one I prefer the most.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any complaints about FacilityONE. It's an excellent job-tracking software.

“Blueprints and pm tools shine”
Pros
Having our blueprints built into the software is a really useful feature. Being able to pull up the prints and toggle layers on and off is especially helpful. The work order and preventive maintenance functions have also worked well for us. Anytime we need help updating or adjusting PMs, the support team has been excellent.
Cons
Since I'm not a heavy user of the system, there are definitely parts of it that do more than what I personally use. When I need extra reports and can't sort it out on my own, I usually email support and we go through it together in a GoTo meeting.

“smartprints and work orders shine”
Pros
Moving through the system is simple. It's quick to add workers, assign work orders and complete them and I really love the new, simpler way to access our smartprints.
Cons
I really haven't run into anything to dislike about FacilityONE. They keep making improvements and are also very responsive whenever you share feedback or input.

“Powerful search results”
Pros
Even with just a tiny bit of information in the Search box, it pulls up a list of similar work orders right away. Most of the time, what I need shows up within the first few results which makes finding things really convenient.
Cons
Unity takes quite a few steps to complete a work order and that can feel a bit drawn out. Legacy was more simple since everything was on one screen so you could just start at the top and work your way down.

“accurate pm scheduling tools”
Pros
The PM scheduler and editor is one of the features we rely on most especially since it can automatically generate work orders for either our internal team or outside contractors.
Cons
At the beginning FacilityONE felt a little confusing and wasn't the easiest system to navigate. Over time though, the improvements they've made along with helpful customer support have made it much easier to learn and now it's become a valuable part of our daily workflow.

“Real-time work orders”
Pros
Managing multiple asset types and system categories is handled really well. UNITY gives us real-time work order tracking and the reporting is flexible enough to cover just about any data scenario we need. It has also helped us align our preventive maintenance tasks very successfully with Joint Commission requirements.
Cons
The icons and dashboards still have room for improvement. That said FacilityONE is already in the process of enhancing the dashboards.

Pros

“flexible search with full history”
Pros
being able to customize my request and add or remove the fields I want to focus on, including narrowing down the time period I'm researching is pretty helpful. The search function also gives me a complete history of what I need which makes finding information much more helpful.
Cons
There are still a few areas I'm not as comfortable with especially Equipment Management and setting up and assigning PMs, mostly because I haven't had enough hands-on experience with those functions yet.
