“Creates my entries and tracks assets
Pros
What I like most about this tool is that it automatically generates the journal entries I need for my primary accounting software while also allowing me to monitor and manage my asset records.
Cons
I wish the process for modifying asset information were more intuitive because at present updating even a simple field--say a title that is merely a yes/no option requires navigating through multiple separate screens and as a result I find myself clicking into three different areas just to change a single piece of information which is unnecessarily time-consuming and difficult.

“Efficient and understand assets
Pros
I find it very easy to grant and configure access permissions and it's also interactive for me to track and follow assets as they move through the system.
Cons
No problems to report while using the platform but I did notice that some of the out-of-the-box summary reports tended to be overly dense with data although I was able to produce customized reports that suited our needs without too much trouble.

“feature-rich but restrictive data fields
Pros
In my opinion the wide array of functional features and the comprehensive reporting capabilities the system provides and I can effortlessly add, remove, or modify assets while every modification is recorded in an Audit Log. Also I can run Actual and Forecast Depreciation calculations to support forward-looking planning.
Cons
However I find that the data fields impose a severe character limit which makes it challenging when I need to include explanatory notes because they are forced to be truncated.

“Organizes and tracks assets with depreciation
Pros
We were able to systematically organize and monitor our asset base with the system handling depreciation so that we could keep clear records and track values over time.
Cons
I find the program to be quite particular about the sequence in which asset actions are executed because whenever I apply depreciation I am forced to reverse that operation before I can make any subsequent adjustments to the asset records.

“Super user friendly and customizable
Pros
For me the range of customization and the interactive nature of the interface stand out it's remarkably user-friendly and can be configured and adjusted to meet my unique needs and preferences.
Cons
What I find to be the sole drawback is the inability to immediately tell, from the primary asset list view, whether an item has an attachment linked to it and although this does not represent a major issue in day-to-day use, it would certainly be a helpful visual cue. My account representative is already conveying this piece of feedback for consideration in a forthcoming release.

“easy to deploy for clients (small learning curve for us)
Pros
Collaborating with the FMIS team made it easy for me to learn and deploy the Asset Management software within my clients' businesses and it's a solution I intend to recommend to clients I work with in the future.
Cons
I found that learning the software can require a significant amount of time before I become fully comfortable using it.

“Easy to use and make adjustments
Pros
What I like most is how simple it is to use along with the flexibility to make changes as needed.
Cons
I would prefer if several screens were redesigned so I can view all the information at once instead of needing to scroll horizontally across the display.

“Adapts to our working methods
Pros
The system could be tailored to the way we work rather than forcing us into a rigid, out-of-the-box workflow, many applications expect you to change your processes to fit their methods but this one allowed adaptation to our working methods.
Cons
At first I found the background admin menus somewhat fiddly and tricky to navigate yet after a short while I got the hang of them and was able to use the interface with confidence.

“Accurate monthly depreciation
Pros
Knowing that the monthly depreciation figures are accurate gives me confidence and I like the system's precision in calculating those amounts.
Cons
Although the workflow requires an adjustment period because it differs from the approach I initially expected I found that the training resources and the responsive support team ultimately provided substantial assistance in getting up to speed.

“Quick and keeps equipment organized
Pros
As a user I find it very fast and it lets me efficiently manage and keep my equipment well organized.
Cons
I find that locating specific entries is frustrating and I frequently must export the data since the results are excessively large to view directly.

“time-consuming imports & needs integration
Pros
I consider the system easy to use and I like that it allows me to generate reports using a wide range of criteria while the way it computes depreciation and handles disposals is consistently precise and dependable.
Cons
We currently must import additions via Excel spreadsheets which consumes a significant amount of time but I am hopeful that establishing an integration between our accounting software and FMIS will eliminate this bottleneck and rectify the problem.

“very user friendly solution
Pros
Using it has been remarkably easy. This compact application handles the depreciation calculations for our assets with outstanding precision and when I have needed assistance the customer support has been excellent I genuinely feel the value for money is unbeatable.
Cons
There are a handful of additional capabilities I would welcome although I understand they are likely planned for future releases.

“Very helpful support and flexible
Pros
As a frequent user I have found the customer service and support to be incredibly helpful (covering training, ongoing assistance and collaboration on bespoke report development) and the platform offers both standard and customized reports. Also it is interactive to navigate, makes adding assets and implementing changes simple, is technically powerful and its adaptable coding structure can be configured by me to meet my organisation's reporting requirements.
Cons
I would like to see additional filtering options when running the built-in reports and ideally an ability to choose which data fields are visible in those standard reports so I can tailor the displayed output to my specific needs.

“Easy order processing for staff
Pros
For our non-finance team I find order processing and goods receipting remarkably easy to use and the Fixed Asset management module handles our large inventory effectively during implementation FMIS provided excellent support including some bespoke work that was outstanding.
Cons
In my experience the system handles incorrect stock purchases poorly because it's relatively easy for those ordering stock to make mistakes on purchase orders and during goods receipting, if these errors aren't caught promptly they necessitate multiple corrective steps.

“Complete tracking of all assets
Pros
I can comprehensively track every asset from purchase through disposal across multiple sites and although I decompose the data by branch, I still consolidate it to view the organization as a whole, the reporting is excellent and visually oriented and it simplifies maintenance management for equipment like HVAC systems and copy stations while allowing me to monitor ROI and schedule adherence.
Cons
I find that functionality is scattered across separate modules and when I add everything together the full suite becomes rather expensive.

“setup takes time & reporting has quirks
Pros
the application is relatively easy to operate for monitoring our fixed assets and managing depreciation schedules and while I acknowledge that you'll need to allocate a fair amount of time to complete the initial configuration properly, once those setup steps were finished everything functioned exactly as I anticipated.
Cons
From my perspective the reporting capabilities are generally solid yet include a few irritating quirks and I found that importing data demands that you conform precisely to narrowly defined field formats while certain reports are restricted in how they present information, for example whether results can be shown by period as opposed to only at fiscal year end.
