it's obvious this software was built by someone who truly understands instrument and calibration management. It feels incredibly simple and I honestly can't imagine a better package out there for this kind of work. Even several ISO auditors have pointed out how impressed they were by the interface and how simple it makes a process that's usually pretty complicated.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. This software has completely changed the way we handle our instrument and calibration process and definitely for the better.

It fits in really well with our current system and does exactly what we need. There's a bit of a learning curve at first but once you understand how it works, it's very simple to use. It helps us stay on schedule and cuts down on non-conformances caused by equipment that is uncalibrated or calibrated incorrectly.

Cons

One thing we'd still like to see is the option to add multiple uncertainty budgets to each gage. It would also be useful if we could use it to schedule our testing in addition to calibration.

Pros

Having the app available to download and use from practically anywhere is a big plus.

I'm still pretty new to the software so I'm in the process of learning everything it can do.

Getting started with it was very simple. I was able to import around 150 devices from another software in roughly 10 minutes.

One of the biggest advantages is that I can use it globally which makes it really practical for our needs. The mobile functionality is also a big plus since I can check things right from my phone whenever I need to.

Right from the start, this product felt very simple to use. The GageList team was available to help during the full implementation process and even afterward but honestly, I was still able to train all of our users without needing much support.

One thing I'd still like to see is a broader feature set especially the addition of tools like Gage R&Rs.

Working as an IT Admin, the standout for me has been the support team. They respond quickly and handle things effectively.

The reporting tools are excellent. The dashboards make it simple to check exactly which items in the tool inventory are coming up for calibration in 30, 60 or 90 days and they clearly flag anything that is already overdue.

Importing an existing calibration tool inventory takes a bit of time at first. Once that initial upload is finished though the toughest part is out of the way and after that it's mostly just a matter of uploading the newest calibration certificates whenever the tools come due.

Compared with other options, this software costs less while giving you more than you'd expect for the price. It's also very simple to use which makes it even better.

I'd really like to have fields that say PM instead of calibration since the scheduling works in a very similar way.

On the admin side, getting this software set up and running was pretty simple. My users adjusted to it quickly, haven't raised any complaints and started using it without much effort. I'm really pleased we moved away from our old, outdated Access-based software.

After getting everything configured, the product has been very simple to use. We moved over from older software that was no longer supported and while entering the initial data took a while, we spread that work out over several weeks. Once the transition was complete, the system became simple to work with and has helped us keep much better track of our calibration requirements.

we'd still like to see more built-in calibration templates for basic, commonly used inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers and height gages.

A simple calibration record tool without a lot of extra clutter which is exactly what I wanted.

Having multiple users in different locations access the same records in real time has been a huge benefit, whether they're on a desktop, tablet or smartphone. The system is very user-friendly and even the least tech-savvy people in our organization can quickly pull up information for a specific gauge without any trouble.

One thing I'd rather see is better behavior when filtering by column headers so only the items that actually match the selected filter criteria are shown.
