Cons

Pros
I love that it's cloud-based, making it accessible from anywhere. Once you're familiar with Llumin, navigating through it is quite straightforward. The extensive historical data stored allows for easy review of past work.
Cons
There's a lot of clicking involved, and some windows could be larger.

“Using Llumin as a Maintenance Tool
Pros
I like how simple it is to track parts during repairs. The Item Reorder List is invaluable once you've set minimum inventory requirements and reorder triggers, it ensures parts are always available when needed.
Cons
Using Llumin frequently and extensively makes it very intuitive. However, occasional users struggle to navigate the system to locate parts or create work orders.

The dashboards and the ability to customize the software to suit our needs are standout features. Reporting is straightforward and adaptable.
Cons
I can't think of any negatives. If there's something we don't understand or want to change, the Llumin team is always there to assist us every step of the way.

“LLumin for the Win!
Pros
We selected this software primarily for managing our fleet/rolling stock and stationary plant assets. It allows us to categorize and visualize assets in ways that align perfectly with our operational needs. The workflow engine and dashboards have significantly improved our ability to notify and communicate about work status.
Cons
It's a bit complex to answer. Every software has its limitations since they aren't tailored specifically to our processes. However, we've minimized these issues, often finding that our internal processes were overly complicated. Once streamlined, we expect fewer issues. We're still in the initial phase with plans for additional features across 60-plus sites.

Our end users, many of whom aren't very tech-savvy, have adapted well to the program. They can use it independently without needing constant retraining or assistance.

Cons

LLumin has made significant strides in modernization and usability with the implementation of HTML5. The cross-platform support is a huge advantage for our organization. Navigating through interfaces is intuitive and easy to learn.
Cons
Some GIS implementation features are somewhat lacking, but they haven't significantly hindered us.

It's user-friendly, putting all functionalities under your control. Its integration with SCADA systems for real-time maintenance based on equipment conditions is particularly noteworthy.
Cons
We've faced challenges with the mobile module. Despite testing various devices in the past, operational consistency from a user perspective has been an issue. Using the full eRPortal version on a Windows tablet has proven to be the most reliable solution we've found.
