The interface is easy to use and the 24/7 support is excellent. We have suggested features to the team, and they always respond with either an improvement or a workaround to help us get things done.
Cons
The size limit for uploaded documents is currently under review by the support team.

“Smooth, fast and incredibly simple to use
Pros
It's simple, fast and convenient to use. My favorite feature is the ability to change locations, and the updates to PPM scheduling have been great.
Cons
There's no option for end users to sign yet but I believe that's coming soon. Also there's no feature to add a checklist as a custom field in the PPM template, which would be a helpful addition.

Pros
The asset tracking features are really useful especially for building a preventive maintenance program and schedule.
Cons
I would like more flexibility in scheduling preventive maintenance (PM) tasks. Being able to set schedules based on specific dates and days of the month would make it much easier to adjust PM schedules when needed.

“A fundamental yet effective CMMS system
Pros
Assigning tasks is easy and the auto-scheduling and bulk task functions make tracking and planning much more efficient. The system also automatically saves technician hours from tasks to timesheets, which is a big plus.
Cons
User access levels are a bit limited. It would be great to have the ability to create cascading work orders (master work order > child work orders) and bulk tasks for top tier assets.

“Timekeeping shapes efficiency!

It's not too difficult to figure out and their support team responds quickly when needed.
Cons
Logging time on a desktop isn't too bad but on a phone, it's frustrating. The rolling dial for selecting minutes is unnecessary, there are only four positions to choose from, so they should just be available as quick select options. Scrolling on a touchscreen is almost impossible. Also, the old system made it easier to stay on the same site without having to re enter location details constantly. These seem like small things but they make a big difference when you're not sitting at a desk.

“Fixd offers a structured way to manage inventory
Pros
I love that it's a �one stop shop� for inventory, timecards and more. I use its functions daily, weekly and even hourly. I honestly rely on this system like my �third leg� when managing inventory.
Cons
The search feature could be more user-friendly. If you don't type in the exact wording, it won't pull up the inventory item you're looking for.

“Been using it for a long time
Pros
Fixd is fantastic because of its simplicity and it's incredibly easy to introduce to new team members. I've used it with a previous employer and was happy to bring it into our operations at Goldwind. Over the past 10+ years, we have explored other platforms for standardization with our parent company but we've always reverted back to Fixd for asset maintenance. No other software meets our needs while keeping things as simple as Fixd does.
Cons
Any issues I've had with Fixd weren't the software's fault but rather a result of not following the recommended process. The system works best when kept simple and standardized across sites, allowing for maximum flexibility and functionality.

“An easy-to-navigate UI makes all the difference
Pros
Easy to navigate, even for users with limited technical knowledge. The interface is simple, making data entry easy with minimal risk of errors. As an admin, I appreciate how effortless it is to move around the system.
Cons
The built-in reports have some limitations, though that may also be due to how we're entering data. I also don't like that the ability to delete jobs has been removed. The new interface feels like a step backward, though maybe I just need time to adjust to it.

It stores data and scanned documents, which helps when reviewing completed tasks and reports from other workers. However, the way searches work keeps changing, which makes it frustrating. Previously, searches were based on the job completion date, but now they go by the last document update, which isn't as useful for tracking physical work. Also, searching by asset for closed jobs has changed, so now I have to manually search for each of our top 100 assets. It feels like changes are driven by the biggest users without offering an option to keep things as they were.
Cons
I need to find tasks completed by other workers and read their reports, but the way searches work keeps changing, making the software harder to use. The search function used to work based on the job completion date but now it's based on the last document update, which isn't as useful. Searching for closed jobs by asset has also changed, so now I have to search individually for our top 100 assets. These changes seem to be made for larger users without an option to keep things as they were.
