SOMAX software is a cloud-based CMMS platform that centralizes asset records, work orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory and parts tracking, and mobile field access. It presents IoT and sensor data alongside dashboards and mobile alerts, so asset condition and failure indicators are identified early, and remedial steps are communicated. The platform also automates routine maintenance, logs downtime and costs, and stores attachments and history for each asset to support decision-making and regulatory recordkeeping.

SOMAX Features
SOMAX manages and tracks assets through their full life cycle with cost, warranty, technical specifications, preventive maintenance schedules, and maintenance history. It supports asset hierarchies to group relationships and locate assets easily within a tree structure.
The software provides visibility into repair and maintenance workflows including work requests, work orders, scheduling, assignment, notifications, and audit trail logging. It enables mobile creation of work orders, capturing photos, QR scanning, time stamping, and real-time updates from field.
The system combines parts inventory control with asset and work management to support spare parts issuance, procurement, and budget alignment. It enables QR-tag scanning, visual parts identification, mobile lookups, part return, purchase order processing, and vendor workflows.
The platform creates PM jobs scheduled via calendar intervals, meter triggers, or on-demand basis, and auto generates work orders according to those schedules. It defines PM master jobs with tasks, assets, and scheduling rules, and supports PM library procedures for standardization.
