“Excellent!!”

Pros

Right away, the fact that it's free and open-source makes this a big plus. There are definitely a few hurdles at the beginning which is fairly expected but once those are sorted out, the range of features and tools gives you a very complete experience. You can record meetings, use chat and run polls so OpenMeetings delivers most of the same functionality you'd expect from commercial alternatives.

Cons

The only real downside is the initial friction when it comes to learning the platform and getting everything configured. After that part is out of the way, it turns into a really solid piece of software.

“feature-packed but dated interface”

Pros

Being open source, it is completely free to use although you do have to host it yourself. It comes with a wide range of features, including meeting scheduling, invitations, screen sharing, file sharing, session recording, video and audio calls, chat and polls. The standout piece is the interactive whiteboard which supports collaboration through document editing, drawing, writing, drag-and-drop actions, images, symbols, clip art and more.

Cons

Interface feels quite unattractive and outdated. Also, the overall user experience and UI are weak which makes onboarding harder than it should be. Most people will probably need some training before they can use it comfortably.

“video and permissions issues”

Pros

It was just okayy i guess, I really couldn't identify any big positives with it. Needs to definitely improve alot

Cons

I've been running into a lot of problems with video recording and screen sharing, along with issues around moderator roles, user permissions and similar features.
