“unresponsive support”

Pros

It runs on Linux which was a big requirement for our setup since we need cross-platform coverage. Bluemail was one of the few options that actually fit that. It also supports multiple accounts, including Office 365 for Business.

Cons

Support never gets back to any requests which is frustrating when something breaks or you need help. The app doesn't really respect/fit your desktop environment and adjusting readability is painful, changing the font size is limited and there's no zoom option. On top of that, the compose window is locked inside the app instead of being free-floating so you can't pull up other emails while you're writing to double-check details.

“It's unified inbox organizes everything”

Pros

Top email client-handling feels easy and everything is laid out so it's quick to get the hang of. Super light to use day to day and the fact that it's free makes it even better.

Cons

There's honestly nothing to complain about with this mail app. everything is where you'd expect and the options are easy to locate when you need them.

“simple and user-friendly app”

Pros

I'm using it on my smartphone for a few years now and it's been working really well. Setup was easy and the app lets me manage all my email accounts from a single place, no switching between different services. On my side, I've configured 2 personal accounts, 2 work ones, plus an email connected to my website and even my son's school email too. That way I don't risk missing important messages since everything is consolidated in one inbox.

Cons

For what I need, it has everything covered and I genuinely can't find any real downsides. I'm also still using the free version and it's been enough for me.

“simplifies my work”

Pros

As an IT engineer, I noticed our team consistently ran into problems when trying to set up smartphone mailboxes. When I recommended this tool, the employees were genuinely satisfied. Compared with other similar mailbox setups we've tried for business emails, it took far less time to get working and it also helped avoid the annoying setup errors that kept popping up before.

Cons

Every now and then, server synchronization takes a while. Still, once everything is running, it's pretty convenient for managing both the inbox and the Sent folder.

“Easy gmail integration”

Pros

The Android version of this app feels really solid and genuinely usable. I also tried the Windows build as a test but ended up not keeping it, mostly because of performance problems and the extra overhead of managing the local database versus using a cloud database.

Cons

Some parts of getting to setup and feature configuration aren't as easy as they could be, finding where to access certain settings takes more digging than it should.

“decent setup but has outbox issues”

Pros

Using it as an individual, I really appreciated that it's a free app that links my Gmail to a desktop app. The configuration felt simpler than what I've dealt with in other tools like Outlook and the setup steps were less of a hassle overall.

Cons

Sending emails through the app was frustrating. The messages would get stuck in the outbox and often wouldn't send. On top of that, I didn't get a copy of the sent email in my main Gmail account and the email also wouldn't open properly.. so I ended up having to recreate the message from scratch.

“heavy CPU usage!”

Pros

I was able to connect to my sbcglobal.net email account without any trouble, unlike Thunderbird which wouldn't connect at all. I also appreciate how easy it is to switch between different inboxes something I didn't get from Microsoft's free email client.

Cons

On my system, an Intel Core i5 (10th gen) with 8GB RAM, the app keeps hitting around 50% to 80% CPU usage and uses several times more memory than Chrome. Even with that resource drain, it's still noticeably slow when loading mailboxes and opening individual messages. I end up shutting it down quite often just to bring CPU usage back under control, then I have to deal with the delay again whenever it needs to reload.

“Perfect for business email management”

Pros

Setup is easy across basically any platform... mobile apps, Windows desktop, macOS and Linux. BlueMail's wizard is really user-friendly and the app is free which makes it an even better deal.

Cons

There's no built-in auto-reply feature so it can't fully replace canned responses in Gmail. Adding automatic responses (ideally paired with AI for more dynamic, context-aware replies) would be a really useful upgrade.

“I liked it overall”

Pros

Compared with other email clients, it doesn't really pile on a bunch of fancy features. Still, if you're mainly looking for a free email client to handle multiple email accounts, it honestly feels like a great fit. The reason is pretty simple, it just works. The interface is modern and easy and when I compare it with Thunderbird, it feels noticeably faster. Overall, it comes across as a free, fast and user-friendly email client.

Cons

Occasionally, tasks like searching through emails can use a lot of computer resources. The built-in email filter is also pretty basic. On top of that, the paid version doesn't include many standout features when you compare it to other paid email clients out there.

“Search and predictive text help alot”

Pros

The interface is really easy and doesn't pull attention with unnecessary distractions. I'm using it as my go-to email management client for running my business and it fits that workflow well.

Cons

Other than the desktop version, the mobile app doesn't offer styling options for the HTML text when you're composing a new email which limits how much you can format messages from my phone.

“my review...”

Pros

Initially it was really helpful for Android integration, my university email stopped falling into my inbox and this setup fixed that. It seemed to handle the connection well at the beginning.

Cons

After a while, it switched from being useful to being unreliable.. it stopped sending my emails to recipients entirely. I double-checked everything I could (the proxy settings and all the details) but I couldn't get it working again. Eventually, I had to replace it and move to something else.

“Fantastic features that save time!!”

Pros

Besides supporting multiple accounts in one app, it also includes genuinely useful features like solid search, predictive text and message templates which makes daily email handling feel a lot more efficient overall.

Cons

Up to now, there hasn't been anything I'd consider a problem, it has been a really helpful tool for me.

“Really liked the customizable "later board"”

Pros

It displays multiple messages between my clients and me as a proper conversation thread. The whole thing looks really good and the user interface feels polished and easy.

Cons

The tooltip for "Mark as unread!" doesn't seem to be activated when using the feature. Also, when I drag an email to the later board, it disappears from my inbox and isn't there anymore. It feels like the inbox and later board work differently than I expected so I'd like an option to copy an email to the later board (rather than only moving it).

“flexible and highly customizable!”

Pros

BlueMail was pretty easy to configure on my PC in just a few steps. I also appreciate the way it organizes and lists my inboxes which makes switching between accounts much simpler. The "Later Board" feature is especially useful for sorting messages based on my reply priority "today," "later" with a specific date and "done." On top of that, I can add extra columns in the Later Board with custom titles so the workflow matches how I actually work.

Cons

Would be even better if there were an option to track when an email gets opened so I could tell whether the recipient has viewed my message but thats not a big issue, i wouldnt call it a complaint! Its great

“powerful course evaluation”

Pros

So this software lets you manage multiple email addresses inside one app which is something other services like Gmail also offer. What sets it apart for me is how lightweight it feels, how efficiently it runs and how easy the UI is. You can switch between inboxes one by one or use a merged view to see everything together. On top of emails, it also supports combining calendars so your schedule can be unified across multiple accounts as well.

Cons

Hasn't caused any noticeable issues for me so far and it has been running smoothly.
