“reliable tool!!”
Pros
It does exactly what it says and it performs well. I was able to get the core functionality up and running in under two hours without any training.
Cons
Letting board members insert their own motions would be a nice upgrade. That single missing piece is the only thing that felt slightly lacking.

“great reminders for improved productivity”
Pros
BoardSpace has noticeably made our board members happier and more productive, with meetings that are simpler to run and manage. There's a lot to like, such as managing the secretary role during board meetings feels effortless, the between-meeting workflow-minutes, future agendas and action items-is much easier to handle and it removes the awkwardness of chasing people for tasks. The biggest impact is that we stopped having to ask, "Have you completed (task xyz) yet?" and instead let the system send follow-up reminders automatically. I've seen an uptick in output and a shorter time to get tasks done and it also shifts the whole "following up with people" burden away from a specific person and into the system. Honestly, this goes beyond a simple feature set, it changes team behavior and the results we get. Even board members who aren't very technical (or who don't really care about tech) are on board because they can clearly see how it improves how effective we are for our members.
Cons
Team actually listens and takes ideas seriously, I've shared suggestions and that responsiveness matters. As more people join and request similar improvements, they'll be able to allocate more resources toward enhancements which I think is reasonable. Compared to some other big, multi-million-dollar apps and platforms, it's not quite as "slick" from a navigation/UX standpoint and a few navigational features could be smoother. Still, there's plenty of room for improvement and from what I've seen, the team wants to make changes that benefit the user base. More importantly, it's helped us move beyond the constant spreadsheet and email juggling and it gives our board ownership of its processes instead of being overly dependent on our property managers (we're a non-profit condo association).

“creates a great workflow with task reminders”
Pros
This tool is a solid way to manage meeting minutes without spending forever organizing them. Being able to leave comments directly on agenda items that are limited to board members only, before, during or after meetings, has been really useful for keeping discussions in the right place. Grouping and uploading documents is easy too. I also like that the task reminders stay reliable especially since deadlines/scope can be updated when things change, it cuts down on the constant back-and-forth emails. On top of that, board member profiles are simple to add and edit.
Cons
Using it does call for some upfront planning around how you name tags and link them to documents, otherwise searching can be less effective. You'll want to think ahead about the kinds of searches you'll likely run. The tagging workflow itself is still easy, adding, removing or modifying tags isn't difficult. Permissions are also a plus since you can restrict access by user so more sensitive documents don't end up public.

“excellent support”
Pros
Customer support has been excellent. The whole aim of streamlining the volunteer board records management is being met and it's clear that the product is helping us save valuable volunteer time while still keeping tight control over our business processes.
Cons
This year's updates made the interface feel a bit dynamic so there were times it got frustrating. That said, once we reported the problems, the team reviewed our feedback quickly and addressed it.

“a time-saving tool”
Pros
Being able to upload meeting attachments quickly is a big help and the tag-based search makes it simple to find things later. everything board-related-documents, committees and even action items, lives in one place so there's less hunting around. I also appreciate the reminders and the included planner is handy for recurring events like the AGM and financial year-end deadlines.
Cons
Agenda customization is a bit limited especially if you want to add the facilitator's name and specific agenda times directly into the agenda template.

Nothing stood out as something I disliked during my use of it.

“Document access controls done right”
Pros
It's been a secure place for storing all our documents, with solid control over which members can access which files. That permission management is the part that really matters for our team.
Cons
User interface keeps getting better over time. At first, we needed a couple of attempts to figure out the workflow for capturing meeting minutes, it's now improved but that learning curve was noticeable at the beginning.

The software feels easy to use and easy to navigate day to day. It also offers plenty of storage space so organizing doesn't feel restrictive.
Cons
Learning the labeling and filing workflow takes a bit of time before it really clicks.

“quite effortless to use”
Pros
Really saves time during board meetings and it practically wipes out the constant reply, all email chains along with those attachment back-and-forths. The smart minutes feature has been fantastic for keeping everything organized. I also like that setting up committees as additional boards makes committee tracking and task monitoring much more structured.
Cons
Nothing negative to report so far, we haven't run into anything we dislike.

“so easy to use”
Pros
Honestly, it is built by a real end user which really shows in how it tackles the day-to-day mess that comes with managing board information. It was created after dealing with the frustration of handling all the documents, updates and decisions that pile up while running a board. The result is a shared space that helps keep everything on task and on track across the full lifecycle, starting with creation and collaboration, then document management and classification, plus meeting support and minutes. It also keeps corporate memory intact across different directors' terms so long-term access is there when you need it. After using it, it's hard to imagine going back to the old "where are those minutes?" moments or trying to track down a resolution from last year.
Cons
There honestly isn't much to dislike. It is still growing and keeps adapting to client needs with new features. Since it's a younger product, you'll likely run into a few bugs along the way, the kind you discover and report to the development team. The good part is that the support and fixes tend to be quick and efficient and the pricing more than offsets those occasional hiccups.
