“A complete team collaboration hub”
Pros
Chanty has been excellent for our team's communication and collaboration. It's made document sharing, calling and task management much simpler for us. Getting it set up and integrated took very little effort and it has become an essential part of our overall tech stack.
Cons
There isn't much to complain about. I'd just like to see more advanced customization options although support mentioned that they're already working on it.

“affordable with unlimited message history”
Pros
Getting our team onto it took very little effort because the interface is user-friendly and the available integrations let us keep working the way we already do. The quality of the group and one-on-one video calls is really solid and voice messages have made day-to-day communication a lot more efficient. The built-in task manager is another big plus since we can turn messages into tasks and assign them to multiple employees without leaving the app. We also really appreciate the unlimited message history, even on the free plan because it means we never lose track of important conversations like we did with our previous messenger. Also, being able to customize channels around our specific needs has helped the team stay focused and productive and the pricing feels very affordable.
Cons
Although it already works with a number of popular tools, the integration list is still expanding so I'd definitely like to see more options added over time. It also doesn't include a built-in calendar and that would be a very useful feature to have.

“great for calls and screen sharing”
Pros
This is a solution I really enjoy because it helps me communicate clearly and transparently with my team. The interface feels very user friendly and pleasant to use. My favorite features are the ability to start group video calls for remote meetings and the screen sharing option which makes it much easier to talk through different projects and ideas during a call.
Cons
Notification settings have never worked properly since I installed the product. The add-on modules also are not as efficient as what you get with Discord or Slack.

“easy switch from slack”
Pros
Switching over to Chanty was very easy for our team. The setup took little effort and the interface is clean, simple and very user-friendly. The message search feature is especially outstanding. It's also much more affordable than other team communication platforms. Since we had been using Slack before, it was important that our communication flow wouldn't be disrupted during the transition and our team adapted to Chanty very quickly. For us, the biggest advantage is definitely how user friendly the interface is.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides. That said because it's primarily a team communication tool, it doesn't fully meet project management needs.

“simple setup”
Pros
This tool has been a really good fit for our work needs and covers almost everything we need it to do. It's easy to use and didn't take much effort to get set up.
Cons
I'd just love to see video sharing made a bit more convenient.

“Keeps everything connected”
Pros
Teambook is still my favorite part of Chanty because it gives me one place to keep up with everything going on. I can check my tasks, team-related updates, messages, shared files and links without jumping around and it works just as well when I'm on my smartphone. Another thing I really appreciate is that Chanty goes beyond basic chat. I can communicate through text, voice messages and even make audio or video calls directly inside the app. Because of that, it works really well as a central space for task management, file sharing and staying in touch with the team and other contacts.
Cons
One limitation worth noting is that it does not offer the same variety of project views that many other project management tools do. You are basically limited to a simple Kanban board so if you need options like list view, timeline or Gantt charts, this will likely feel restrictive and may leave you disappointed.

“Our team adopted it quickly”
Pros
Biggest advantages of this software is how simple it is. It's very user-friendly so my team got comfortable with it quickly. Voice messages have become our main way of communicating with each other and it lets us do that without relying on third-party tools like Slack.
Cons
The downside is the limited integrations. It still needs better connection with third-party services like Calendar, pCloud and others.

“clear and easy to use”
Pros
Right away, this felt quick to pick up and very easy to learn. It's a solid value, not overloaded with unnecessary options and it helps our team communicate well across time zones since we have staff in several locations, including the Philippines. The free-form search is excellent and makes it simple to pull up an older thread or topic when we need it. Admin tasks are also very simple to handle. I appreciate software that just does exactly what it's supposed to do. We were using HipChat before but after Slack bought it and shut it down, we had to switch and we really did not enjoy that. Slack has way too many options and integrations for what we need and it costs a lot more. We're not trying to build some software empire, just run a business and this has been a much better fit for us.
Cons
Honestly there's very little to complain about. The thing just works really well.

“fast search and audio calls”
Pros
Getting a team onto it takes almost no time and the interface feels very user friendly from the start. Even people with only basic IT skills can jump in and use it without any trouble. The app performs quickly for both messaging and search which really matters to us since we exchange a high volume of messages every day. We've also come to rely on the audio calling feature quite a bit especially for group calls with remote staff. Also, the product keeps evolving, with new features showing up every couple of months so it's been nice to watch it improve.
Cons
Audio calls do act up from time to time though it's usually limited to about an hour or two once a week before things return to normal. It does seem like the team is actively working on resolving it.

“amazing for distributed remote teams”
Pros
Running a distributed team of 30 people across five time zones means communication has to be reliable and it has become our go-to for that. We use it every day to stay connected, talk through work-related topics and also keep things fun by sharing memes and GIFs. It's been working flawlessly for us and we've even recommended it to other remote and distributed teams.
Cons
Task management is still pretty limited at the moment. I'd really like to have better tracking so it's clear who's working on what, what stage a task is in and to be able to add subtasks, deadlines and similar details. If that's not on the roadmap, then a native Trello integration would be a really welcome alternative.

“voice messages I finally got”
Pros
This latest release feels super cool. Voice messages and Giphy integration were features I'd been waiting on for a long time so I'm really happy to finally have them. Also, your Facebook community is hands down the best support channel. Thanks, guys!
Cons
Only thing still missing is group video calls.

“cheaper and better than fleep”
Pros
After spending most of the past year on Fleep, we ended up switching because we got tired of paying just to access our own workspace. Chanty handles the job really well and even comes at a lower cost. It actually feels like a proper team communication app instead of a public chat channel where anyone passing through can jump in.
Cons
Uptime hasn't been perfect all the time although the number of issues we've had has gone down over time.

“feature-packed”
Pros
So after spending most of the past year on Slack, the slowdown started to become more and more noticeable for our team. Switching to Chanty has been a really positive change because it's much faster and still offers almost all the features we need. We've been very happy with it.
Cons
I noticed no negatives

“excellent for remote communication”
Pros
Running a remote team of 13 people spread across different parts of the world means communication has to be reliable which is exactly why we went with this tool. The notification snooze option and customizable settings have been especially helpful because I don't have to deal with messages from other time zones interrupting me at odd hours. Also, their support team has been incredibly patient and helpful with us. Overall, we've been very pleased with our experience using it.
Cons
It's a pretty minor thing but I do miss having an "X is typing" indicator in Chanty when I'm chatting with someone. It helps to know when the other person is typing at the same time I am. Hopefully that gets added in a future update.

“user friendly design”
Pros
Unlimited messaging, a very user-friendly setup and excellent customer support are the biggest highlights. You can even contact the team through their Facebook group and get a fast reply. Task management is convenient and the interface feels simple with a really well-done design.
Cons
The only thing I'd love to see added is audio messaging although I've heard they're already actively working on that feature.

“support is great”
Pros
Instead of juggling Slack, Skype and Messenger for team communication, we switched to this tool and it feels like getting the best parts of all three in one place. It's a free tool, works across apps and gives us a reliable way to handle work communication without the usual restrictions.
Cons
Something we're still waiting on is voice messages. From what I understand that feature is on the way so I'm definitely hoping it arrives soon.

“works great across devices”
Pros
I've used this on my Mac, iPhone and in the browser and it performs really well on all of them.
Cons
A couple of things are still missing, there's no way to mute channels and the mobile app still doesn't offer a dark theme.

“awesome UI and UX”
Pros
Right from the product name to the overall design, Chanty feels very well put together. The UI and UX are excellent and honestly everything about it has been impressive. I'd even say it's one of the best options available in the market.
Cons
Only very small improvements come to mind, like making threads and video calls even better.

“task assignment that works”
Pros
Being able to assign tasks is easily my favorite feature. The layout and interface are clean and user friendly so it feels comfortable to use even without much technical know-how. I also really enjoyed using the audio calling feature.
Cons
It would be even better if they added integration with Basecamp.

“perfect team chat experience”
Pros
Getting started with it took almost no time at all, from signing up to setting up my teamspace. That was the biggest reason I went with it. I'd tried other chat tools before and they all came with major downsides like expensive pricing, dated interfaces or frequent crashes. Compared to those, this is easily the most user friendly and best-looking tool I've used.
Cons
Honestly I haven't run into any downsides. It includes everything I need for productive communication with my colleagues.
