ChatWork works well as a business-focused platform that corporate teams can use for team messaging, video meetings and file sharing.

Cons

One common downside is the free plan which feels quite restricted with tight usage limits, only a small number of external app integrations and limited automation options.

Pros

Biggest strength I noticed in it is how simple and organized communication feels. It makes working with a team much easier by keeping group chats, task management and file sharing all in one place. I also really appreciate how user-friendly it is especially when it comes to handling work discussions and staying connected with teammates.

A downside is that certain features can feel a bit limited compared to other collaboration tools especially for managing larger projects. The interface also comes across as somewhat outdated at times and notifications can get overwhelming when group chats are very active.

One thing that works really well with it is how simple it is to use which keeps communication structured and organized. The built-in task management feature is especially useful for keeping track of pending work and follow-ups. Being able to turn conversations directly into tasks helps make sure action items don't get overlooked. It also works very well for collaboration since internal teams can coordinate without depending so much on email which helps boost productivity. Having file sharing and task tracking together in one platform makes day-to-day coordination much easier. The file sharing and notification features have also been quite helpful in daily work. Mobile access is another big plus because it keeps everyone connected while working remotely or even outside office hours. Setup was simple from the beginning and onboarding did not require much training since the interface is user friendly and the main features like chat, file sharing and task management are easy to understand.

Integrations with other platforms could definitely be better because they still feel a bit limited compared to some other collaboration tools. The interface could also use a more modern design along with stronger customization options to improve the overall experience. Also, searching through older conversations can be a little difficult when discussion threads get long especially if multiple topics are being discussed in the same chat.

Pros

What works really well is that I can use it on both my phone and my computer. It feels very flexible for sharing documents since the files stay right in the conversation thread. That matters a lot because there are times when we can't send sensitive portfolio client data through regular instant messaging apps. Getting started was also quite simple especially since our whole team works within the same workspace.

Cons

A feature I'd still like to see is automatic document categorization within conversations. It would be much better if files could be archived into a library automatically, along with details showing who has viewed them. It would also help to have the option to forward documents directly to email or connect a cloud service like Drive or Dropbox for archiving.

Pros

Love the flexibility that I can sort and prioritize chats.. and that makes everything much more manageable. The overall messaging experience is very good and comfortable to use, even if it can feel a little complex at the beginning. It's noticeably faster than relying on email and that ends up saving me a lot of time. Getting started was quick too since the setup took less than three minutes. I usually prefer the app but the browser version is available as well and both work really well.

Pros

Most of my work in it revolves around team communication and task tracking. It does a good job of keeping communication clear between our Japan team and Vietnam team which helps prevent missed information and misunderstandings around requirements. The part I appreciate most is how simple it is to use. Both the chat and task functions are very simple so assigning work and following up feels clear and uncomplicated especially when collaborating with a Japan-based team. Chats stay organized by project which makes discussions easier to follow and helps make sure nothing gets overlooked. I also find the task feature useful because I can assign work to specific people and set deadlines directly from the chat. It's quick to see who owns each task and how things are progressing which helps the team stay aligned and avoid missing work. Getting started with ChatWork was very quick and the interface is simple enough that new team members can understand it without much trouble. Overall, it works really well for team communication and basic task management particularly when working with Japanese teams. I'd give it about an 8 out of 10 based on those strengths.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the UI since it feels a little outdated and finding older messages can sometimes be difficult. Also, the task feature is fairly basic so when a project becomes more complex, it doesn't offer the same depth as a dedicated task management tool.

Pros

Using this tool has been really convenient because the interface is simple to navigate and it lets us manage a lot of tasks without having to move from one place to another. We can quickly do video calls, voice calls, conference calls and share files and documents with our internal team without any hassle. Another thing I appreciate is the ability to integrate and sync it with third-party tools like Salesforce and other software which helps when communicating with clients and collecting documents and data. The initial setup was also very simple.

It still has room to improve when it comes to integrating with more software options.

A few parts of the platform feel somewhat limited when compared with other tools especially some of the more advanced collaboration features. Integrations with other apps could be stronger and task tracking would be better with more flexibility. The interface also feels like it could use an update, with improved customization options, clearer notifications and a more modern layout to make navigation simpler.
