“Saved a lot of time

Pros

It was incredibly easy to get started and begin cleaning out a massive inbox of about 300,000 emails.

Cons

So far I really love it. I haven't found anything negative about CleanEmail.

“It was what I needed

Pros

This software has definitely helped me a lot with managing my mailbox. Trying to organize both my personal and professional emails can be a struggle because of how many I receive every day. This tool is amazing at efficiently organizing a large volume of emails.

Cons

In my opinion, It doesn't have any major flaws. Maybe one thing that could be improved is the way users change some settings inside the software. A more finely tuned user interface would be nice but it's not a deal breaker for me because the software works really well overall.

“Great program to manage your inbox

Pros

I like to clear my email inbox regularly and having CleanEmail's filters in place really helps me do that and I can easily go straight to the folders where daily emails from certain senders are sorted and clear them out. I would still want to explore some of the other features the program offers.

Cons

My first attempt at setting up filters wasn't as intuitive as I hoped but I managed to figure it out.

“Incredible and useful

Pros

This is awesome. It has a great user interface with amazing features and the functionality is excellent. I especially like the Auto Clean and Block features. The Smart Views are amazing too, letting you easily sort emails with pre-created filters. Overall I just really appreciate how easy it is to use.

Cons

There isn't much I dislike about this app except that you have to pay for an upgrade to access premium services. A free account only lets you clean up to 1,000 emails, which I think is reasonable.

Pros

It can spam identify features and it was the main reason I gave it a high rating, its that good.

I think the navigation of the software could be a bit easier.

“Blocked all of my emails!

I got the features I expected. What I wasn't told was that I might risk losing some emails!

Cons

It blocked all incoming mail for three days and my emails asking them to contact me by text or phone have not been answered. Where is my email?

“Feels like frauds

I heard so many good things about this app and really wanted to try it specially after finding out that Unroll.me was selling my information without permission. So I subscribed for a year. Everything looked good until�

The app requested a special password for my iCloud account but gave no instructions on how to do this. I have never had to grant such a password before. I tried reaching support four times to get help starting the program. While they say they will get back to me within 24 hours, it's clear that once they have your money, support basically disappears.

“Don't know how I managed without it!

Pros

Outstanding software that is very easy to set up and use. The best feature is the Unsubscriber Automatic Delete. It asks you if you want to keep or unsubscribe from all the subscriptions coming into your inbox. If you unsubscribe, future emails from those senders are automatically deleted. On top of that, you get an email report showing which emails have been deleted automatically.

Cons

Honestly I don't dislike anything about this app. The only minor issue is customer support took about two days to respond to my questions but they did get back to me with answers.

You have to purchase more cleaning services if you want to clean beyond the free limit.

“Good free alternative to expensive apps

CleanEmail was recommended to me as an alternative to Inbox Zero and it really lived up to expectations. It helped me dig out from years of junk email and, most importantly, unsubscribe from the many newsletters I had unknowingly signed up for over the years.

Cons

The free version is basically a trial that limits you to deleting 1,000 emails. If you want to get rid of more, you have to pay for an upgrade. I personally don't mind paying a low price for an app that has cleaned up a lot of chaos in my inbox but this app competes with other similar apps that do the full job for free.

“Organized my inbox

Pros

When our mailbox gets overloaded with unread or unwanted emails and we don't have the time to clean it up, CleanEmail is a mass email cleaner that makes the job easier. It helps me group, organize, delete, label and archive my emails. This app really helps me manage and organize my emails more easily.

Cons

During my time using the app, I have nothing negative to say.
