“Useful for designing logos and prints
Pros
What I truly appreciate is just how pixel-perfect and accurate everything feels when you're working. It has this incredible way of letting you snap shapes together and manipulate text with a level of precision that just feels trustworthy. It's honestly become my go-to for any logo design or printed material because you know the final product is going to be exactly what you envisioned. And as a huge bonus even when you're dealing with a massive, complex file, it handles it way better than you'd think, it doesn't bog down or get sluggish which is a lifesaver when you're deep in a detailed project.
Cons
A few of the functions are not very user friendly especially when you are new to the program. And because it's not the primary software our team uses I frequently have to change my file types so they work with everyone elses process.

“way too terrible customer service
Pros
It is a decent program when it actually functions. Sadly I do not have other positive points because their customer help and support basically does not exist.
Cons
Our team has used CorelDRAW for many years. While the program itself has good points the customer service is truly terrible. It is almost impossible to contact an actual human as the phone lines are often dead ends, emails come back as invalid and support requests get ignored for weeks. If you do get a reply, it is typically a generic, copied message that does not solve your problem. I had a simple license problem that should have been fixed quickly but instead, I was shuffled between different chat helpers and email chains for more than a month without any fix.

“A stable and reliable choice
Pros
I prefer CorelDRAW because it has been stable and reliable for a long time. It is both very user-friendly and powerful for creating vector graphics.
Cons
Its tools for working with regular photo files are much weaker than Photoshop and similar programs. In my opinion including that module was not really needed.

“complete design package
Pros
For more than three decades CorelDRAW has been my primary choice for design work. I really value how flexible it is as it manages vector art, brochures, flyers and even complete page setups without any trouble. Overall it is a complete package that means I don't need several different applications. The layout is also easy to understand, the features are strong and it's always given me dependable results for both printed and online projects.
Cons
Moving to a subscription payment plan is easily the worst part. I bought the software for good years ago and paid for every single update over time but now all that money feels wasted. I won't switch to paying monthly so I have stopped getting new versions even though I'd like the latest tools. For loyal, long-time users this change feels both illogical and unjust.

“Quite handy for personalized design
Pros
This application is quite handy for designing jewelry and architectural plans. Plus it offers many ways to personalize your work and get your documents ready for presentation.
Cons
It is not the best to design magazine covers, book front pages and book layouts and it is also not good for creating logo labels.

“Impressed by its overall power
Pros
I was impressed by its overall power and the range of things it can do. The tools were high-end and after spending a short time learning the layout they became quite easy to operate.
Cons
Personally I am not a fan of the licensing model. I usually avoid owned software in favor of open-source options. Its features were also a bit confusing and hard to locate at first but I managed to get past that.

“Layout and tools are improved
Pros
The layout, the improved tools and the fact that this version does not freeze or shut down while you are working which was a problem with older releases.
Cons
They recently changed the transparency tool's icon in the toolbar but I much preferred the glass symbol from the older versions.

“an excellent vector graphics application
Pros
CorelDraw is an excellent application for working with vector graphics. Plus it comes with strong capabilities and works with lots of different file types which is great for making logos, drawings and other projects.
Cons
Learning how to use it takes a while which is especially true for someone just starting. The cost can also feel too steep if you only need it occasionally.

“Quick & reliable tool for precise work
Pros
Drawing icons, adding gradients and lining up objects precisely all feel quick and responsive in CorelDRAW. I can sketch out a poster concept faster than my coffee gets cold. The color selector picks up precise brand colors and the PDF export keeps them looking perfect when printed.
Cons
Problems arise when a design gets very complex. Thousands of anchor points make zooming slow and previewing specialty inks causes a delay. Some older visual effects are also buried in sub-menus so I waste extra time and clicks trying to find them.

This is a very strong program for vector work yet it is also remarkably simple and instinctive to operate.
Cons
I feel like the feature that converts images to vectors could use some updates to work better.

“Speeds up work with shortcuts
Pros
What I like most about Corel Draw is how much it speeds up my work thanks to the extensive list of keyboard shortcuts it provides. It also lets me customize the menu bar to fit my specific needs.
Cons
The weak point of it is that it lacks advanced options for image editing because the filters it has are very basic.

“completely unreliable customer support
Pros
CorelDRAW has a long history as a versatile vector design tool and generally provides a wide range of functions for graphic artists.
Cons
Its customer support is completely unreliable with delays that drag on for weeks, replies that are unprofessional and a habit of ignoring promises made in writing. The software also lacks stability on macOS as every time there is a major macOS update, huge problems pop up that Corel never seems ready for. And I feel like it is a real breach of trust as they promised me a free license for 2025 in writing and then later refused to give it to me.

“Simple to bring in and edit artwork
Pros
What I like is how simple it is to bring in artwork and start editing it.
Cons
I do not like the new AI features they have added. I believe generative AI has no role in creating art.

“adaptable and easy to use for newcomers
Pros
CorelDRAW is an adaptable creative package that is easy for a newcomer to learn but still has the power a seasoned designer requires. Plus it has excellent features for working with text and font effects to create the exact logo shape you are looking for.
Cons
Sometimes when a picture is turned into a vector it creates way too many anchor points and lines that are not properly connected.

“Natural and user friendly for design
Pros
I really like how natural and user friendly CorelDRAW is for design tasks. It has also a great set of tools for vector art and the workspace is easy to move around in.
Cons
One downside is that figuring out how to use some of the more complex tools can be time-consuming.

“excellent quality for professional drawings
Pros
A wide range of easy-to-use tools, a good workspace and excellent quality when making logos and professional drawings is what makes it special. Plus it offers superb print quality with true to life colors, perfect color matching in the palette and is very helpful for correcting and editing images and photos.
Cons
It needs a good graphics card and a very up to date processor. As it uses a lot of memory and sometimes freezes. The versions I tested at the company for logo corrections at the helmet company where I worked had these issues.

“automatically turns pictures into vectors
Pros
The best feature for me is how it can automatically turn any picture into a vector which saves a lot of time when I'm digitizing drawings. Plus I find the layout very user friendly and practical and working with different layers makes editing my projects really easy.
Cons
A major challenge with this software is its smaller user base compared to other popular design programs. This means there is less community help and support available and the price tag can still be quite high.
