what a tool!

Pros

What I enjoy most about the software is how flexible it is for creating just about anything.. images, prototypes, wireframes, website UI and even style guides. On top of that, collaborating with a team is very convenient since everyone can work together at the same time.

Cons

I can hardly imagine working any other way now.

great prototyping workflow

Pros

It has plenty of tools for building high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes. The interface is accessible and self-explanatory and the community tab offers useful project templates and lots of inspiration.

Cons

One limitation is that it falls short on photo editing and vector creation compared with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

strong features

Pros

Comes with some really strong features and makes it possible to collaborate across multiple projects while handling more advanced design work.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it took time because it can be fairly complicated to use and I'm still not completely confident with it yet.

plugins that boost daily work

Pros

I use the software to create designs for my company's website and social media. It's a practical tool for day-to-day work even if some features take a bit of time to learn. The wide range of plugins and available resources really makes it an excellent tool to rely on every day.

Cons

Still doesn't feel as complete as some other tools such as Adobe XD.

mine and team's favourite

Pros

Across several development projects, the software has stood out for how versatile it is and how effectively it improves the user experience during the prototyping stage. Its library system and object management make a big difference on complex projects especially when multiple people are involved in building proposals and it helps keep the final product consistent. The interface is also highly usable and getting comfortable with it doesn't take long.

Cons

the software is already widely used around the world and has become the preferred choice for many developers and UX designers. That said some people may still choose other options for things like multilingual support, 3D transformations or voice prototyping. Even so, the software's consistency and simplicity are what made it the favorite and many companies continue to build prototypes and projects on this platform.

My review

Pros

Working together in the software feels incredibly efficient because it's a cloud-based design platform where multiple people can edit the same file at the same time. That makes collaboration between designers and stakeholders much more smooth and productive. The interface is user friendly so putting together designs and prototypes happens quickly and the toolset is strong enough to adapt to different personal workflows. Another big plus is how versatile it is.. it works well for web design, mobile app design, UI projects and more while also offering features built for collaboration and managing design systems. Since everything is cloud-based, there's no need to install or maintain software and files can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. It also supports real-time feedback which helps keep communication fast and clear during the design process.

Cons

At the same time, the software can feel complicated at first especially for people who are new to design tools so it can feel difficult to use. Its offline functions are also limited because it mainly depends on an internet connection which can be frustrating if you need to work without reliable access. Some advanced users may also feel restricted by how structured the interface and design tools are since there isn't as much flexibility or customization as they might want. On top of that while the software includes basic animation features, it doesn't offer the more complete animation toolset that some competing design software provides. A few users also run into issues with third-party integrations, as the available options can feel limited and make it harder to organize workflows or collaborate across other tools and teams.

versatile design workflow

Pros

The design system is accessible without getting in the way and after struggling to learn Photoshop, XD and Illustrator first, using the software felt like a breath of fresh air. It's also incredibly flexible in how many ways it can be used. I've relied on it for UI/UX roadmaps social media posts, office presentations, user documentation and even simple logo work.

Cons

The built-in image editing features still have some room for improvement. It would be nice to see more color grading options added and a library of free icons available inside the platform would make it even better.

rich libraries

Pros

Creating quick prototypes in the software feels very easy and when I need something more advanced, it can handle that too. The extensive libraries are really helpful and make the overall design process much more efficient. Another thing I appreciate is how often they roll out updates and introduce new features.

Cons

At times when I'm trying to do something very specific, the interface doesn't feel completely accessible right away. That said it becomes much more familiar with use and it's usually pretty simple to look up how to accomplish most tasks.

interactive prototyping done right

Pros

Being able to turn my static design files into interactive prototypes without writing any code is the part that has impressed me most about using the software. I can quickly connect UI elements and choose the animations and interactions I want which makes the whole process very efficient.

Cons

Fonts can sometimes change during coding. I just hope the software improves its typography handling so designs stay more consistent.

Speeds up everything

Pros

I came across the software during a Google UX Design course, learned how to use it there and now I rely on it for pretty much everything. The whole workflow really speeds things up because it helps define the layout ideas and app functions very clearly from the start. The micro-animations and screen transitions are also excellent. The prototyping tool and the ability to share projects with external users are essential features.

Cons

It would be even better if there were a way to edit images directly online, kind of like having a built-in Pixlr.

beginner friendly

Pros

Building prototypes felt very approachable especially as a beginner. It's also really convenient to leave comments for my UX designer which makes sharing feedback and getting updates incorporated much simpler.

Cons

Reaching a specific layer can take quite a few clicks which gets a bit tedious. The large canvas area where multiple pages can live can also feel a little overwhelming at times.

boosts UX work

Pros

It's a really solid collaboration tool for working with other companies and external partners when sharing and reviewing prototypes. It becomes especially important when focusing on user experience since it helps a lot with sharing new templates and testing them on a website.

Cons

Like most prototyping platforms, it does take a bit of time to learn and get comfortable with. The notification system could also be better since notifications are a key part of exchanging comments and feedback with external partners.

Helpful resources

Pros

Right away the interface feels very user friendly and there are plenty of useful templates, tutorials and inspiration available on the site. It works well for creating all kinds of things, from presentations to UI designs.

Cons

The free version does have limits on projects although it still feels worth paying for. I'm also a bit unsure about how well exporting works when it comes to sharing projects.

accessible mockups and prototypes

Pros

Even without a design background, using it felt very easy right away. I was able to visually create app and website screens immediately and it's also useful for making collages and simple prototypes.

Cons

At the beginning I had some trouble figuring out how to save the elements I created so I could reuse them later.

Impressive design system workflow

Pros

Helps me organize my designs and build my own design systems which really boosts productivity across projects and makes collaboration much better. The interface feels accessible and easy to work with and the huge range of plugins gives it endless possibilities and extra resources. From wireframes all the way to prototypes, it lets me create and refine projects from start to finish in an effective way using its full set of tools.

Cons

One part I don't enjoy is the spaghetti-style prototyping. It can get very cluttered and when there are lots of frames and elements to connect, it's very easy to make mistakes which becomes pretty frustrating. I rarely use that method because I prefer working from the toolbar on the right and linking things through the frame list instead.

real-time teamwork

Pros

Being able to collaborate in real time with other designers is a huge advantage. Sharing projects and prototypes is very convenient and browsing community-made projects and plugins adds a lot of value to the overall experience.

Cons

Not being able to choose color profiles is a limitation and there are also some constraints when it comes to designing motion and animations.

favourite solution!

Pros

Working at an international company means a lot of my coworkers are spread across different parts of the world so having a tool like the software really helps. It makes collaborating with several people on the same project very convenient. Even when people are not directly involved in the project, it is still simple to share work and ask others outside the team for feedback which is something I really appreciate.

Cons

My daily commute is 40 minutes each way by train and I often try to wrap up a few work tasks while traveling. That is where the software becomes frustrating because it does not support offline work. The internet on my train is usually unreliable so being able to use the software without a connection would make a big difference. At the moment, that is the part I like least about it.
