“Confusing pricing”

Pros

The drag-and-drop editor works really well and being able to share my own designs with colleagues and clients is a big plus. After a bit of practice, using templates like Apple UI Kits, other mockups or fonts through tools such as Icomoon becomes quite manageable. Even more complex projects can be built in it and it's also nice that you don't need a Creative Suite subscription to use the software.

Cons

The pricing feels unclear: with the software's annual plan, you still end up needing a separate monthly FigJam subscription. On top of that, duplicating and aligning screens is not as easy as it was for me in Adobe XD. Because of that, Adobe XD still remains my number one tool for website layouts.

Pros

Running a startup while working as a product designer, I consider the software the best design tool out there. Its layout, navigation and overall feature set make the platform very user friendly. The collaboration tools are especially helpful making it much simpler for the team to work together on website and mobile app designs.

Cons

Up to this point, the software has been flawless. Customer support has also been excellent, the pricing feels fair and even the free version with three design options offers solid value.

Pros

Working with it feels quick and it fits well for both personal projects and professional work. It also comes with automatic cloud saving, offers unlimited plugins and includes auto layout which is really useful.

Cons

Interacting with the prototype can be a bit confusing at times. There is also a slight delay when handling larger projects and it would be better if more design templates were available.

Pros

FigJam has become something we rely on constantly alongside the software's core features. It's incredibly flexible and works really well for collaboration and we've used it for all kinds of things like retrospectives, roadmaps, brainstorming sessions, user flow mapping and more. Everything is very easy to use and the little playful touches make it even more enjoyable.

Cons

No complaints about FigJam itself but the software can be a bit confusing when you're not fully familiar with how it works. It has caught us out a few times especially when we didn't realize there were extra versions of designs available.

Being able to work remotely together with other collaborators at the same time is great.

Cons

I do miss having more image editing tools, vectorization features and a more user friendly version management system.

Exporting elements as images doesn't work the way it should and once layers are involved, the process gets more complicated.

Using the software feels incredibly easy since there's nothing to install at all. It runs quickly, works online and stays very simple to use which is something that still impresses me every time.

Cons

Even though it's free and packed with features, it still depends completely on an internet connection. You can't use the software offline and it would be much better if offline access were available.

Collaboration works really well and it makes it simple to view your projects and stay on top of your work.

Cons

The downside is that there's no offline version so you need an internet connection to use the software.

Being able to review designers' work and quickly suggest edits or corrections was something I really enjoyed.

Cons

The frustrating part was that logging in sometimes caused issues and I even had to create a new account on occasion. Using it on mobile is also a trouble.

Pros

Hands down, it's the best tool I've used for prototyping. It's very simple to work with, doesn't create much difficulty and feels almost self-explanatory. All of the features are easy to use and make everyday tasks much more practical. As someone studying UX/UI, it has been excellent for what I need.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints. The features cover what I need very well. My only concern is whether anything might change after the Adobe acquisition but I believe it will probably stay the same.

It would be even better if more extensions and third-party APIs were added to improve collaboration.

Getting started with this was really enjoyable and it was exciting to see how well it can support the product development process. It's quick to pick up, easy to use and still offers plenty of effective tools to work with.

I began using it during a workshop and it took a bit of time to figure out the best way to use some of the tools. A few quick links or short GIFs showing how the tools work would make the learning process even better.

Creating digital experiences can make a huge difference and often plays a big role in successful outcomes. the software really stands out because of its powerful capabilities, from helping speed up the design process to making file creation and editing simple while also supporting efficient team communication.

Cons

More customized plans and solutions would be valuable and appealing especially for beginners and those just getting started.

Pros

Working in the software has been amazing. It's simple, accessible and very comfortable to pick up quickly. The platform offers some really powerful design features that a lot of other tools don't have. One thing I especially love is the global color editing across all screens and artboards. The component variants feature is also incredibly useful. On top of that, the Design Review option makes collaboration much better since people can leave comments directly on specific parts of a design. That makes it much easier to apply feedback, resolve comments and mark things as complete. Being able to have multiple users designing in the same file at the same time is another huge advantage. I absolutely love the software!

Cons

The only downside is that it has now been acquired by Adobe XD.

Cloud-based prototyping has been one of the strongest features and the overall engagement around it is really impressive.

Cons

One thing that still needs improvement is security especially when it comes to preventing duplicate copies of prototypes.

The variety of design boards in the software was really appealing and I also enjoyed having access to the community forum.

Cons

One frustrating part was how often the website would freeze and lag. It was difficult to do anything else on my computer or phone while using the platform.

Using this software feels very easy. It's vector-based, collaboration is smooth and saves a lot of time and when it comes to UI design, it's the best tool available on the market.

Has pretty much everything I need in one place which is a big reason I enjoy using it so much. The interface feels very user friendly, collaborating with other designers is simple and getting quick feedback is really convenient. Exporting files is also easy and the recent update made the whole experience even better.

Cons

My only real complaint is the pencil tool. I'd love to have an option to add some instability and create cleaner, more refined lines, similar to what's available in Illustrator on iPad.

This tool stands out to me mainly because it runs in the browser and works smoothly across different platforms. That flexibility is a big reason why I enjoy using it so much.

Cons

there is not much to dislike about the software. If anything, their support system could be a little better.

Being able to test my prototypes directly on a mobile device while designing for mobile has been really helpful.

Cons

It doesn't feel very accessible and requires some time to get used to. If you're completely new to it, you can't really just install it and put together a quick design without going through a few tutorials first.
