I'm impressed!

Pros

Working in the software has taken teamwork to another level. Our designers, project managers and clients can all comment, ask questions and make layout corrections at the same time which keeps everything moving much faster. It's also helpful that you can control each participant's permissions so nobody accidentally disrupts the design. Another big advantage is that every version and change is saved in the software and you can always roll back to the right one whenever needed. I don't have to keep dozens of files on my computer anymore or try to remember which file had the version with the element the client wanted removed and now wants added back.

Cons

the software works really well for web design, UX/UI and even presentations. That said it still doesn't completely replace Adobe Creative Cloud so you'll likely need other design tools alongside it.

Advatanges of Figma

Pros

Being able to open the software from anywhere and have every file already synced is probably the biggest advantage. On top of that, I can edit everything directly in the browser which makes it even more convenient. The interface feels accessible and familiar especially if you come from a graphic design background. It works incredibly well for collaboration too whether it's with other designers, product managers or developers. Prototyping is a key part of presenting projects to stakeholders and having that built in, including animations, without needing to switch to another tool is great.

Cons

One thing that still feels limited is the image editing side. I'd love to see more built-in options, like background removal or color adjustments because right now I have to jump into another program first and then return to the software. It also feels like some unresolved gaps are being left for the community to cover through plugins instead of being handled directly in the software.

Excellent tool

Pros

When it comes to interface design, the software is quick and dependable. The community is a big plus too, with plenty of templates available and the developer handoff options are solid and very useful.

Cons

The pricing structure is frustrating. You have to be part of a team and pay for each user and if you belong to multiple teams, you end up paying for the same user in each one. On top of that, the prototyping tools still need some work especially things like sticky elements and input features.

versatile design powerhouse

Pros

One of the most convenient and valuable things about this software is how well it supports so many different plugins, animations and collaboration features while also covering wireframing, prototyping and presentations. It really works as an all-in-one multitasking platform that can handle a wide variety of content without feeling limited.

Cons

The one part that still annoys me is the font selection process. There isn't a way to see font previews before applying them so you have to click into the text, switch the font and check how it looks. If it's not the right fit, you have to open the list again and basically guess which font to try next.

shared files always in sync

Pros

Files stay current with every change the team makes which is incredibly valuable. Having a single source of truth for all design files matters so much that I'd still recommend the software even if some of its other tools were less impressive.

Cons

The biggest frustration is that it can be difficult to tell where visibility is being affected in colored solids especially when a stack of groups makes it harder to select exactly what I need.

Collaboration is a big plus

Pros

Working with teammates in the software is really easy and sharing files across the team is one of its biggest strengths. It's also pretty quick to learn especially if you've already spent time using other design tools.

Cons

At times though, the software can be buggy. There are situations where images randomly don't appear for certain team members which makes the design look incomplete. I've also run into the issue where dragging an element onto an artboard doesn't always attach it to that screen so it ends up missing in the export.

browser editing boosts teamwork

Pros

Coming from basic desktop editing tools, this felt like the most accessible way for non-designers to jump into creating and updating visuals. the software runs right in the browser so people can make edits without needing files locally or installing any software first. Our team handles a lot of ads and constantly requests visual assets and there are plenty of moments when we just need to tweak text or resize something. With the software, we can take care of those changes ourselves instead of waiting around or putting extra pressure on our designer.

Cons

I really haven't run into any issues so far and the only thing I'd hope for is even more features down the road.

team collaboration that clicks

Pros

Collaboration across our team has been great and the platform is simple enough for everyone to use. No matter what someone's technical skill level is, they can still jump in and work together. That's a huge part of why it fits our workflow so well especially since our team includes people from finance, tech and marketing.

Cons

One small thing I'd like to see improved is the ability to search through all the different prototypes directly from the prototype screens but it's a pretty minor issue.

easy prototyping

Pros

Using the software for web app prototyping has been very accessible and easy. It's my go-to tool most of the time when I need to test project ideas before actually putting them into production. The variety of templates available for different purposes is really helpful and I also appreciate that it offers both free and paid plans. On top of that, the collaborative features make teamwork much more convenient.

Cons

I haven't come across any negative aspects of this product.

Real-time product visualization

Pros

Being able to visualize the actual product made a huge difference when it came time to start development. After finishing the graphical design and prototyping, it became much clearer how the product would work in real time.

Cons

The graphical design process especially inspecting each widget, could be better.

Simple software

Pros

Comes with plenty of features for designing user interfaces for software applications. It also makes it possible to collaborate on designs with other team members which is really useful. Creating custom icons is simple as well.

Cons

It would be better if support were added for exporting designs in more file formats.

great UX

Pros

Using the software has been a really enjoyable experience. It's incredibly user friendly, the UX feels excellent and honestly I'm happy with pretty much everything it offers. Whether I'm working on a full app design or just creating buttons for a website, the software feels like the best option available.

Cons

I genuinely don't have anything to complain about. I've been enjoying every part of using it.

Pros

Getting started with it feels very natural. The core features are accessible and really helpful for prototyping ideas before moving into onboarding.

Cons

Something that can be a bit confusing is sizing since the preview dimensions don't always seem to match the deployed version.

powerful design standard

Pros

There's a reason the software has become the standard. It's highly capable and advanced enough to handle just about anything someone wants to create. The platform offers a broad set of user friendly tools that can tackle nearly any task you throw at it.

Cons

One downside is that it does take some time to learn the most effective way to use it. That said the training resources available are excellent and really help with the learning process.

smart features

Pros

Working with my team live in the same file has been incredibly valuable. the software keeps rolling out new features that solve things I already needed and sometimes even things I had not thought about yet. It honestly feels like the product team is one step ahead. The interface is clean, clear and most of the time simple to figure out. Another big plus is the plugin ecosystem.. anyone can build really powerful plugins and that helps me move through my workflow much faster.

Cons

A few parts of the software are kind of hard to figure out especially features like auto layout although that has been improving over time. There is also a small adjustment period when collaborating with non-designers but FigJam has definitely helped make that process easier.

creative boost with templates

Pros

Getting started with the software doesn't take much time so even someone brand new to design can begin making things right away. If you already have some design background, it can boost your productivity quickly and really spark new creative ideas. The community is another big plus, with tons of shared templates available and a lot of them feel very polished and professional. On top of that, there are plenty of plugins that add even more value and make the platform more capable.

Cons

At the beginning, the interface can feel a bit confusing if you're new to design and some of the basic starting points aren't very obvious right away. Once it clicks though, the actual design process becomes much more manageable. The menus could definitely be clearer and some of the features I use most often are hidden behind too many clicks. It would also be really helpful to have templates organized in a more convenient list especially common ones like Facebook ads or hero section elements.

Quick mockups

Pros

Starting out on the free plan, I was honestly impressed by how much it offered. From editing images to building individual design elements and combining them into a full mockup, the whole process felt accessible and easy. I mainly use it for website mockups but it works just as well for all kinds of visual projects like software designs, posters and books. Collaboration has also been a big plus since I regularly work with other designers, managers and clients. The sharing tools are excellent, changes sync right away and everything saves automatically.

Cons

A few of the more advanced tools especially animations and interactions, took some extra research to fully understand though that feels pretty normal for features like those. Aside from that, the interface and overall functions are very user friendly.

really nice tool

Pros

Is an incredibly capable tool for both prototyping and handling design systems. It's quite user friendly and because it runs in the browser, I can use it almost anywhere on pretty much any computer. That feels like a huge advantage especially when it comes to the long-running PC vs Mac debate for designers. Another big plus is how often it gets updated.. new features are always being introduced and it really feels like the product keeps improving without slowing down. Definitely a tool worth trying if you haven't used it yet.

Cons

There is some difficulty when getting started especially if you're coming from tools like Sketch or Adobe XD. It's not hard to pick up but you do need to adjust to the software's way of doing things. A lot of the time, that approach actually turns out to be better particularly with how text styles are handled. Other than that, it has a few small quirks but after a while they barely stand out.

affordable to use

Pros

Right from the start, the software feels very user friendly thanks to its clean interface. It includes pretty much everything needed to create designs without any trouble. The best part is how well collaboration works.. teams can jump in and work together in real time which makes the whole process much more convenient. It also feels like excellent value for the money.

Cons

The prototyping features and the mobile app experience still have room for improvement and could definitely be better.

Organized teamwork and shared libraries

Pros

Keeping projects structured is one of the things the software does really well. It comes with team folders by default so I can place files where they belong and share them with the right members. It has been very helpful for managing each project, building design libraries that the team can access and overall the platform feels very simple to work with. Even starting from zero, without any previous experience, I was able to complete my work in a clean and organized way.

Cons

One thing I'd like to see improved is how drafts and templates from community resources are organized. It would be much better if downloaded templates had a default folder of their own instead of automatically ending up in drafts.
