“autolayout and components shine!”

Pros

Autolayout is simple to manage and building components along with their variants feels very easy.

Cons

Dev mode isn't included in the free version and it can feel a bit laggy at times.

Pros

Using this tool has been a really positive experience! Prototyping feels very simple, the tool is user friendly and I genuinely enjoy using the platform. It also helps collect feedback in one place which makes collaboration better. On top of that it provides kits for designing interfaces so overall the experience has been very good.

Cons

One limitation is that the free version comes with a restricted icon selection. It would be much better if they added AI generated icons or more modern icon styles like the ones commonly used in other interfaces.

Pros

As a product manager this tool has completely changed the way I collaborate with designers and other cross functional teams. The real time collaboration tools make it simple to share feedback, stay aligned on the product vision and move through iterations much faster. Being able to comment directly and interact with prototypes also makes the handoff to product feel much more smooth.

Cons

It really depends on having a solid design system behind it. When everything is well organized it works incredibly well but if that structure is missing, it's pretty easy to lose your way. One thing I still wish it included is a notification feature that alerts designers whenever a prototype gets broken.

“Good for learning design”

Pros

Having free access to this software as a student was incredibly valuable for learning and the large community made it even better with tips, shared style guides and assets that really help along the way. Even without any background in design software, it's something you can start using pretty quickly since a lot of the sizes and frames are already prepared you can pick the grid you want and there are plugins available too.

Cons

FigJam is meant to be a collaborative feature but it feels pretty limited when it comes to how creative you can actually get with it. It also makes me question how many people really use it for things like vision boards or team brainstorming.

It gives me a wide range of user friendly design features that really help with my work and make the designing process more convenient.

The only downside is that the software can feel slow at times.

I use it for web design and the quick scaling options and layout tools make the whole process really convenient.

Cons

There are a lot of features packed into it so at the beginning it can take some time to figure out where everything is. I'd recommend doing a short course to get familiar with it faster.

Quite easy and efficient to use with plenty of customization options that let me design things exactly the way I want. The collaborative setup is also really helpful because it makes sharing designs with my team quick and convenient.

Pricing can be pretty high which makes moving up to the higher tier plans harder to justify.

Being web based is a big plus since it makes sharing with remote team members really convenient and they can access it without any trouble.

When it comes to using auto fitting across different web formats, it is slightly difficulty to figure out.

Working in this platform feels really impressive especially because the real time collaboration and polished interface make everything run so well for us.

One downside is that offline support is fairly limited which can be a bit inconvenient sometimes.

The software feels very flexible to work with. It lets you choose your own dimensions and shape the frames exactly the way you need for the design.

I haven't run into any major problems with the software. The only time it slows down a bit is when I'm working on large files or more complex designs.

Pros

Building a set of pages that share the same components is very practical in this software. It encourages a more atomic approach which increases the reuse of smaller components for different purposes and helps create a development workflow that is less costly overall.

Cons

A limitation is that pages cannot be moved easily between different files so you usually have to copy and paste the content into another file instead. This becomes especially frustrating when there are comments attached to the components being moved whether they are notes, stakeholder feedback or change suggestions because those comments do not carry over to the new file and end up being lost.

The software gives you a lot of prototyping possibilities definitely more than many of its competitors.

Cons

The pricing model is honestly very poor. It feels like you have to pay for every little thing you do in the software: need a new team? pay, want a new document? pay. There really isn't a suitable plan for users. And that's not even getting into the prototyping bugs that show up when you start creating more advanced animations.

Right away the interface felt very simple to use, the pricing is affordable and the customer support has been really excellent.

Cons

Everything works well and I haven't had any bad experience with it though it would be even better if they added AI image generation features and a watermark remover to the software.

The prototyping capabilities are really strong and it helps the whole team stay aligned throughout website development.

Every now and then there are minor sync issues but they're not a big deal. Overall the user experience is very good.

From the simple interface to the way layers, configurations, inheritance, components and masking all work together, everything about it feels amazing! Even the pen tool is very easy to use which makes the whole design process much better.

I don't have any complaints. It keeps improving over time and continues to be helpful in every way.

It stands out for its user friendly feel and accessible design. It lets you build interfaces and layouts quickly and the real time collaboration is great. It's a perfect fit for teams that want to work together efficiently without unnecessary trouble.

Cons

Even with its wide range of tools some advanced features may still be missing. If you need more complex graphics or very specific capabilities you'll probably have to pair it with another app like Adobe Illustrator.
