Overview
Flex Surveys software helps HR teams collect confidential employee feedback, track participation, and turn survey results into actionable workforce insights. Although its confidential surveys do not provide a complete view of employee responses for HR review, they protect employee anonymity and encourage honest feedback — which gives organizations clearer insight into workforce concerns.

What Is Flex Surveys?
Flex Surveys is an employee survey solution built for HR teams and organizations that manage engagement, pulse, onboarding, exit, performance, and other workforce-focused survey programs. It supports the design, distribution, and analysis of employee surveys — with tools that contribute to more structured decision-making around the employee experience. Its historical trend analysis feature can import and standardize results from previous surveys (including data from earlier survey periods), which allows teams to compare findings over time and identify changes in employee sentiment.
What Is Flex Surveys Best For?
Flex Surveys' notable feature is the Whistleblower Reporting tool. It gives employees an anonymous channel to report workplace concerns — while sending automatic notifications and tailored alerts to HR, legal, or senior leadership teams. That's what makes it a fit for organizations that want employees to raise concerns without fear of retaliation. Without a secure reporting channel, misconduct may go unreported longer—but with Flex Surveys, organizations can identify concerns earlier and address them before they become more serious.
How Much Does Flex Surveys Cost?
Flex Surveys pricing starts at $4,500 for the Value package. Other available pricing options include:
- Professional: $5,500
- Enterprise: Starting at $7,500
Additional costs may include:
- Survey Setup And Configuration: $1,500–$6,000 (one-time), depending on survey count and setup complexity
- Questionnaire Customization: $1,000–$5,000 (one-time), based on custom questions and survey design requirements

- HRIS Integration: $2,500–$15,000 setup plus $200–$1,000/month, based on sync frequency and field-mapping complexity
- Additional Reporting: $50–$300/report, according to reporting type and customization

Flex Surveys Use Cases
After evaluating Flex Surveys’ features, we identified several situations in which it could perform particularly well, including:
HR Directors Running First Employee Engagement Survey
HR directors can use Flex Surveys to run first-time employee engagement surveys across their workforce. The platform structures questionnaires around relevant workplace topics and organizes responses into customized reports, which, as indicated by user feedback, can align survey findings with the organization’s existing business structure.
Business Partners Evaluating New-Hire Experience
HR business partners can use Flex Surveys to collect feedback from new employees at the 30-, 90-, or 180-day points of their tenure. When used at these intervals, onboarding surveys help teams assess recent hires’ experiences with recruitment, training, and early workplace processes while those experiences are still fresh.
HR Managers Investigating Employee Turnover
As resignation patterns emerge, HR managers may struggle to identify the workplace factors driving employee departures. Flex Surveys uses customized exit questionnaires and segmented analysis to examine reasons for leaving, helping teams uncover recurring issues that may otherwise be difficult to detect.
Learning And Development Team Reviewing Leadership Performance
Learning and development managers conducting annual or biannual leadership assessments have a feedback requirement that a single evaluator may not fulfill. This includes 360-degree surveys that collect input from an employee’s peers, direct reports, and supervisors. Flex Surveys supports this multi-source feedback process, which is what makes reviewing leadership performance across different working relationships possible.
Is Flex Surveys Right For You?
Does your organization have around 100–500 employees and need a more structured approach to performance management? Or perhaps it needs to identify high-potential employees, inform promotion and compensation decisions, and support succession planning? If so, Flex Surveys could be worth an evaluation — its survey tools may provide a clearer basis for developing internal talent and preparing employees for future leadership roles.
The platform is worth considering in case your organization handles sensitive employee feedback. It uses SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and SSAE 16/SOC 2-audited data centers, which can reduce the risk of unauthorized access. The vendor also keeps personal information separate from survey responses and only provides reporting when responses are combined into groups of at least five respondents.

“Quick surveys with solid rewards”
Pros
Something that really stood out with it was how fast, simple and rewarding the surveys felt and the questions were also very clear and easy to follow.
Cons
The part I liked least was that some surveys reached capacity too fast and were no longer available by the time I tried them and a few of them also felt longer than they should have.

Pros
It makes it possible to collect data from a large audience and the platform is simple to use. It also offers flexible design options, works well for different survey needs and helps make data analysis more efficient.
Cons
At the same time some responses can be unreliable, survey fatigue is a real concern, there are no direct solutions for those issues and the results may not always be fully representative.
