Pros

Laxis has completely changed the game for me as taking notes is no longer something I have to worry about. Now, I can focus 100% on my clients and what they are sharing with me. I have also been really impressed with their customer service. I had some concerns about client confidentiality, and they addressed them quickly and with a lot of care. The development team has been super hands-on, making sure everything is handled thoroughly. It gives me a lot of confidence that any other issues that come up will be dealt with just as thoughtfully and professionally.

Cons

The transcription isn't perfect but I use some non-standard language in my consultations, so I am not surprised. A quick review after the consultation usually fixes any issues.

Pros

I use Laxis to transcribe interviews for my qualitative dissertation and it works great. The best part for me has definitely been the customer service. I accidentally went over the minutes in the free trial and thought I'd lost the data. But the Laxis team was amazing as they helped me recover everything and really went the extra mile to assist me.

I really don't have any negative feedback. As it is honestly a great product.

Idea of it is great but the service is awful and the software does not work properly.

Finding support was tough, and when I finally did, they were not very helpful. Also the team invitation features did not work at all. After just 12 hours of using it, I switched to Otter and asked for a refund of my $200. They denied my request even though I barely used their broken software. So do not waste your time or money.

Pros

I love that I can really be present with my coaching clients now. I don't have to stress about writing down every single thing they say. If I need to, I can always go back to the transcript and check exactly what was said.

Cons

I really wish audio recordings were available for Google Meet. Also, the topic tags could be smarter. Right now we have to manually turn the tag on and off. It would be great if you could just click it and have it tag the speech automatically, then turn it off when the speaker changes.

Pros

Laxis transcription feature helps me stay focused during meetings and the flagging tool is awesome for noting things I need to follow up on later.

Cons

Sometimes there are spelling mistakes in the transcript when it comes to specific topics, but I mainly use it to jog my memory about the conversation, so it is not a huge issue.

I love the transcripts as they save me so much time compared to listening through recordings.

I love the AI writer for summaries and action items, but it could use more capacity. As I have run out of space a few times.

Laxis is an awesome product and I can tell it has a lot of potential. Plus I really love how easy it is to pull the right notes using templates. It is such a simple feature, but it makes everything so much easier for me.

It was a bit hard to understand the whole offer at first.

Pros

It is very easy to use. My favorite thing is the mobile app as it lets me record, transcribe and get a meeting summary, customer requirements, actionable items and follow-up email text, all with just the push of a button.

Cons

The integration with some conference apps could definitely be improved, and the AI features are still under development so it might take a little while before the team figures out the best way to provide value to everyone.
