“Exceptional mobile app”

Pros

Having the track waveform right in front of me and being able to leave comments on an exact part of the audio makes a huge difference. My producer can leave super-specific notes like, "please move this drum from here to here," and I immediately know what they mean. With other tools, that level of clarity just isn't possible. The new mobile app is also fantastic, seriously, phenomenal work. I can listen to my tracks in the car and reply to comments while I'm out and I end up doing that all the time. I've also consistently appreciated the separation between the main chat and file-specific comments. Having both spaces to talk through a project or ask questions works really well.

Cons

A few years back, there were occasional little issues when the company was still smaller but they were always fixed very quickly. As for features, the only thing I'd change right now is the blue/green comment circle staying visible until I manually click it. I'd prefer if it disappeared automatically. I do understand the reason it works that way but when you get 20 comments across different projects, having to open each one just to clear those circles is a bit tedious. Still, it's not a major problem at all.

“User-friendly layout”

Pros

From the first day, it felt very simple to navigate. The layout is user-friendly, everything stays well organized and it has definitely helped improve our workflow and overall efficiency. One feature I really appreciate is being able to place revision notes directly on the waveform of an audio file which makes feedback much more precise. It also works really well on mobile and that matters a lot when I need to quickly check messages or updates from my team.

Cons

At this point, I honestly don't have any complaints about Pibox. It's been working really well for me.

“Central hub”

Pros

Having everything organized and under control in one platform makes a huge difference. It helps me monitor all the different parts of the production without jumping between tools which saves time and makes the workflow much faster, especially on a massive project like my Vivaldi Metal Project, where I'm coordinating hundreds of musicians from all over the world.

Cons

The member access system could be better, especially when it comes to assigning roles with more detailed permissions.

“all-in-one platform”

Pros

It centralizes everything in one platform. Sharing files, reviewing other people's work and exchanging ideas all happen in the same space which keeps collaboration simple and organized.

Cons

Adding a channel-style structure similar to Discord would improve communication and make conversations easier to organize inside the app.

“Can leave comments on audio files”

Pros

Being able to leave comments directly on audio files has been the most useful feature for me.

Cons

The mobile experience could be better and the timing on audio comments is sometimes off.

“Easy to get used to”

Pros

Its so easy to use, I was comfortable using it even before any training. The layout makes sense, everything is right where you expect it to be and the features actually work the way they should. That kind of reliability is honestly pretty uncommon in software.

Cons

Using it on mobile has been frustrating because the menus and file-sharing options don't seem well adapted for smaller screens. If there is mobile optimization, it doesn't appear to be displaying properly in my iPhone browser.

Pros

Lets me share files, keep them organized and leave precise comments at specific moments like at an exact point in a song, really helps throughout the creative process. The version history is also very useful for tracking changes and following each step of a project.

Cons

The platform clearly has a lot of potential but it still doesn't match the level of polish and reliability offered by less specialized competitors for creative work. If Pibox were better optimized and completely dependable, it would be ideal.

“Simple access”

Pros

I can access my files from anywhere on mobile which makes it really useful and it works well for both personal projects and professional use. The real-time commenting is helpful and having multiple file versions stored together in one place that's simple to share makes collaboration much more convenient.

Cons

A couple of things I still miss compared with highnote.fm are a more smooth way to switch between different file versions and the option to leave voice comments.

“Exceptional product for audio feedback”

Pros

Having a dedicated platform built specifically for audio feedback is incredibly helpful and the quick version-switching between track revisions is an excellent feature.

Cons

A few parts of the page layout and navigation felt a bit confusing at first and took some time to fully understand.

“Complex navigation and login”

Pros

I ended up using it because the people I collaborate with were already on it.

Cons

Getting around it is pretty difficult, especially when trying to locate files. The login process feels complex and finding the right project location is frustrating too.

“Amazing audio feedback workflow”

Pros

The audio file layout is really well put together and leaving comments on specific files makes feedback very clear. It helps me see exactly what each note is referring to, make changes quickly and upload updated versions without any confusion.

Cons

The only downside right now is mobile access. It's not quite ideal yet since some features don't perform as well as they do on a PC.

Having everything laid out in one place makes this really convenient to use, especially when I need to see my whole team and all the projects together in a single folder view.

Cons

At times though, finding specific items and getting around the platform can be a bit frustrating.

Pros

Having time-stamped comments is incredibly useful in my work, especially for composition and production. It makes feedback much more precise and practical to work with.

Honestly, I haven't run into any issues with it. Since I'm a freelancer, I usually use it when the companies I work with are already using it.
