“creative sharing with endless options”

Pros

What really stands out is how simple it is to share your work with someone else. The site offers a lot of creative freedom, with tons of options to choose from and it still gives helpful examples for how to use different designs. It lets you make something personal while keeping the process easy and effective. Changing colors, adding pictures or including text is all very simple so it's easy to make everything feel like your own.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any real complaints about this software. I enjoy using it and it genuinely makes things feel more convenient and easy for me.

“Even the free edition is awesome”

Pros

Getting started with it is very easy and the free edition still gives you everything you need to create whatever you want.

Cons

I really couldn't point to any real downsides for an app that delivers exactly what it promises.

“professional designs on a budget”

Pros

Such a big help for my small business. The drag-and-drop editor is easy and very simple to work with. Putting together flyers, posters and presentations is quick thanks to the built-in templates. I'm only using the free version and it honestly covers everything I need. It's an excellent tool for creating polished, professional-looking materials.

Cons

Doesn't always work well with the Safari browser but switching over to Chrome solves the problem.

“Amazing templates and pro results”

Pros

Genuinely this platform is fantastic and somehow makes my work look fantastic too. The software is very simple to use, with a WYSIWYG editor that feels easy right away. There are lots of beautiful templates included even with the free account and the paid plan opens up even more impressive options. It's absolutely worth the price especially considering the discounted rates available for non-profits. With this tool and about 10 minutes of work, I can put together professional flyers, posters and infographics that look incredible. Just don't tell people how little effort it actually took.

Cons

Editing in Safari can be a bit awkward at times. Something about the page layout makes the bottom part of the screen difficult to view. That's really the only issue that comes to mind, otherwise, this tool makes me look like a million bucks.

“Fantastic classroom infographic tool”

Pros

Putting together infographics with students in it has been a really positive experience. The site is laid out well, feels very user friendly and is simple to navigate especially with the search tool that helps narrow down templates fast. There's also a huge collection of designs to choose from. A few of them feel a bit plain but plenty are high quality and useful. I also like that the templates are organized by theme which makes it much faster to find the right style or purpose and start customizing from there. As someone who isn't highly experienced with design tools, I still felt comfortable creating and adjusting things in it and my students learned how to use it very quickly too. Another plus is the large selection of free images, along with how simple it is to upload your own photos which has worked well when students share pictures of experiment steps and procedures. One feature that really sets it apart from similar tools is the ability to embed videos and interactive charts. As far as I know, it's the only free platform I've come across that offers that. Obviously that won't matter much for something you plan to print but for digital sharing, it's a standout feature. I also appreciate that you can pull in data from Google Sheets and Excel without much trouble. My students figured that out almost immediately. I'd rate it an 8 out of 10 overall, an awesome platform with a lot of practical classroom uses.

Cons

Even though it does a lot for me and my students, quite a few of the templates are locked behind a subscription. That's not realistic when you're working with an entire class so I really wish they offered some kind of education plan. Even so, the free version still works well enough depending on the type of project or activity.

“You get polished visuals”

Pros

It comes with a wide range of templates, from infographics to resumes and they work well whether you want to print them or use them on online platforms. The way text and images can be arranged is also very user-friendly which makes the product a solid choice.

Cons

Graphics and charting options are quite limited and there's no way to edit only selected text within a text box since any change applies to all the text in that box.

“outstanding template variety”

Pros

The template selection is excellent and simple to customize. The overall template quality feels really high, honestly outstanding. I also appreciate that the platform isn't packed with too many features which makes it feel comfortable and easy to use.

Cons

It's missing a few things I'd like to have, such as the ability to add animations, videos or other motion content. There's also no color picker tool so I had to type in the color manually when it wasn't included in the palette. I'd also like a way to share infographics in HTML5 format under my own custom domain.

“Slides that save the day”

Pros

One thing that's been especially useful is how flexible the slides and PowerPoint options are. Adding links and videos is very easy and the platform has been a big help during budget freezes or when our designer is out on vacation.

Cons

Downside is that there's no way to upload your own Typekit font. I'm required to use Interface Trial and unfortunately that font isn't available in the software.

“Design tools that feel professional”

Pros

Working with this software made a big difference for us especially since our company was still fairly new and didn't have a communications team to put together handouts. I had already used it personally before joining so I ended up recommending it to several coworkers who needed to create content. The platform is very user-friendly and really gives you the feeling that you can design like a pro. It also offers strong customization tools which makes it easy to create materials that feel unique and designed to your needs.

Cons

I am not always able to clearly tell the document size while im creating it, until after I download or print it. More than once, I assumed something was set to standard 8.5 x 11, only to print it and realize the sizing was off. It would be much better if the documents were more print-ready from the start since right now it feels more geared toward online creation than accurate printing.

“professional infographic results”

Pros

Among infographic tools, it feels like the strongest option to me. It offers a solid range of free graphics and design elements and the finished infographics come out looking polished and professional. The platform also manages the unusual dimensions of infographic layouts really well which makes the design process much more practical.

Cons

The free plan still limits how many elements you can access so it can be a little harder to create exactly what you have in mind. Even with that restriction, it's still possible to put together something functional and modern-looking.

“I like the presentation design”

Pros

Putting presentation visuals together with Piktochart feels much more efficient because it automatically creates a polished, professional-looking design. We use Prezi as well and this one takes far less time to work with.

Cons

A weakness in this tool is the search function. It often fails to bring back results that match the terms entered, even when the exact Pikto name is used. If you are not managing hundreds of files though, it may not be a major problem.

“clear visuals”

Pros

Getting started feels especially beginner-friendly because the templates do a lot to help you present your organization's information clearly. It supports the use of different graphics well and the platform helps arrange content in a way that's organized, useful and easy to follow. The templates also offer creative options for displaying information which adds a lot of value.

Cons

It can feel somewhat restrictive for users with more design experience. Certain elements are difficult to build from scratch unless you pull them from an existing template. Also, the free plan limits PDF downloads and access to higher-quality exports.

“A great option”

Pros

Works really well as a tool for creating infographics. It gives students something different to work on instead of the usual PowerPoint, Google Slides or Prezi presentation and it gives them more room to be creative.

Cons

I do not like that they disconnect your account if it has not been used for a while. I do like Piktochart but I do not use it as often as some other tools. It would be much better if the account could stay open so I could still view previous Piktocharts I used for other classes without having to create my account again.

“user-friendly design creation”

Pros

Putting together basic designs for posters, flyers and informational sheets with this software is about as simple as it gets.

“sharp infographics”

Pros

Exactly what i needed! Putting together polished infographics and PDFs takes almost no learning curve at all. The built-in stock images are a big help and the templates make the whole process even more useful.

Cons

Something I still can't figure out is how to change the font in the chart tool for the percent marker on a line graph. It also comes out a little blurry when printed and I don't see a way to make it bold.

“Enhances my creativity too”

Pros

Creating and editing eye-catching infographics in it feels very easy especially when starting from its templates for inspiration. The way each template is broken into blocks makes it much simpler to work on one section of a graphic at a time. I use it often to put together infographic drafts and other design work for clients.

Cons

Icon library feels a bit limited and I'd really like to see more variety in both the icons available and the different icon styles.

“engaging layouts for teaching”

Pros

Right from the start, it stands out for its simplicity, practicality and convenience. As an English teacher, I constantly need to create engaging explanatory materials that can present complex ideas in the clearest and most understandable way possible. It helps me do exactly that and even more, at a very reasonable price. The templates are attractive and hold attention well. My students really enjoy these visuals I create especially when I use them to explain grammar points or language functions.

Cons

To be fair, the selection of templates and fonts can feel a bit limited. Even so, considering the price, that doesn't take away much from the many other strong benefits the platform offers.

“so easy to use”

Pros

Working with it has been a really positive experience. The interface feels user friendly and simple to navigate which makes it especially handy for putting together infographics or email banners. It offers a solid range of styling options too, including colors, shapes, transparency and a strong library of free images and graphics. Uploading custom images is also an option when needed. After picking your design elements, adjusting and arranging them is easy so it's easy to create the look you want. Our team often uses it instead of hiring a graphic designer for smaller projects.

Cons

There are a few limits when it comes to canvas space, along with some restrictions around fonts and shapes. It's definitely not on the same level as a full design platform like Photoshop but at this price point it's still a worthwhile choice for a marketing team. We usually turn to it for specific, lighter design tasks and leave the more advanced work to our graphics department.
