“Handy presets”

Pros

Right away, the app feels simple and user friendly to use. I only need to choose the type of asset I want to create and there are plenty of presets ready to go. It also comes with about five built-in color schemes and changing the graphic colors is very easy. Overall, it's a solid app for putting together simple posters and presentations.

Cons

A limitation is that creating a custom color scheme is locked behind the premium version. It would also be more convenient if the templates were organized more clearly by theme. Aside from that, this is a really good app.

“fantastic for nonprofit visuals”

Pros

Coming from very little design experience, it made it possible to turn statistics, strategies and ideas into clear, easy-to-follow infographics and reports. Its huge library of charts, maps, icons and templates was a big reason I was able to put together my first report for the nonprofit where I now work full time. The block-based editor, with tools like alignment, transparency and positioning, made building polished visual materials feel easy. The menu is user friendly too so finding the right elements doesn't take long. I also relied heavily on the Upload feature for branding. On top of having ready-made templates for reports, infographics and presentations, there were also useful text frames included. The built-in photo frames came in handy for flyers and posters as well. Overall, our experience with Piktochart has been excellent.

Cons

Free plan's 40 MB upload limit was restrictive so we had to be careful to use lower-resolution versions of our photos. I also didn't get much use out of the color scheme feature. At the time, there wasn't a social media category available yet which meant we couldn't really use it much for social media marketing.

“Has tons of templates”

Pros

From the start, it feels user friendly and user-friendly, with a huge library of resources and templates for building visually impressive infographics. It gives beginner designers a way to put together genuinely attractive designs without feeling overwhelmed. The biggest advantage is how simple everything is especially the drag-and-drop approach which makes learning the design process feel painless and approachable.

Cons

That said, if you're trying to handle bigger graphic design projects, it probably won't be the strongest option. Adobe products are still far ahead in that area since it just doesn't offer the same level of depth, features or overall functionality as a full Adobe design tool.

“visual storytelling powerhouse”

Pros

This software has been fantastic across the board. I've used it for years to turn really complex business ideas and long emails into infographics and visual data that people can actually understand. I also repurpose project schedules in Pikto to build timelines especially since nobody in my organization seems able to make sense of a Gantt chart!

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is a way to keep private work hidden. My office has security requirements that sometimes mean we can't store information online unless it's fully locked down from view, even inside a password-protected account. I'd also love a bigger icon library because I end up reusing the same ones over and over when the current options don't quite fit the communications I'm creating. And since I build timelines manually so often, having more ready-made timeline templates out of the box would be a big help.

“clean infographics”

Pros

Like Canva does for posters and social media graphics, it makes infographics accessible for people who don't have a design background. It lets someone with no formal training and only a basic creative sense build something that looks polished while presenting data and information in a clear, effective way.

Cons

Similar to the issue I have with Canva, that usability comes with a tradeoff, the graphics can end up feeling a little too similar or template-driven. It's not necessarily a bad compromise but it's definitely there. Compared with something created from scratch, the final result can feel like it's missing some personality.

“Quick and easy to use”

Pros

Getting started with it takes almost no effort which is a big plus. We've been using the free version to create simple infographics that go along with blog content for clients and it definitely works well for that. Having a variety of templates available is helpful and it's also nice that the platform updates those choices from time to time. I also appreciate that it comes with built-in photos and clip art since that makes the design process faster. The biggest advantage is how quickly you can put together an infographic that looks polished, even when you're completely new to the tool.

Cons

Because we stick with the free plan, we do run into template limitations pretty often. Some of the designs available in the paid version look really attractive. Still, for what we need, the free version does the job well enough.

“Solid value!”

Pros

Creating flyers, banners, infographics and other visuals with it feels very easy, even without any design background. The large selection of templates makes the process enjoyable and helps put content together quickly. Also, the pricing is quite affordable and absolutely worth paying for.

Cons

What I've noticed is that they used to offer more fonts and some basic options I relied on, like Arial, were removed recently. That said, there are still plenty of fonts available to choose from.

“flexible drag-and-drop design”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about it is how freely you can drag and drop any element anywhere in a project. Adding text or images and moving them around is very easy. I've used Piktochart to put together infographics for three different work projects and it has worked really well for that.

Cons

My only real complaint was the limitation of the free version. There were one or two genuinely useful features locked behind payment so I had to upgrade to use them which I understand is part of how they encourage people to buy the full version.

“Polished graphics”

Pros

Whenever I need to create infographics or reports, this is the tool I turn to first. It's very user friendly and simple to work with. The graphics look professional and once they're downloaded, they're easy to reuse. The drag-and-drop interface, wide range of templates and helpful support make the whole process even better. It also includes plenty of stock images that are easy to search for and use.

Cons

At times, the interface can be a bit glitchy or stop responding although I'm not completely sure whether that's caused by the software itself or by our computers or internet connection.

“Amazing presentations”

Pros

To put presentations together is super fast and easy with this software. It saves a huge amount of time and effort by helping share data in a more effective and engaging way. Instead of spending ridiculous amounts of time trying to build something visually appealing, I can cut that work down dramatically and still end up with a presentation that looks even better than usual. It's powerful, simple enough for anyone to use and I really can't recommend it enough.

Cons

Honestly there isn't anything specific that comes to mind that I dislike about this software. It has noticeably improved both the quality of my presentations and the time it takes to prepare them.

“great presentations in minutes”

Pros

Putting ideas into a polished visual format with it feels effortless. It makes presentations look really attractive and the whole app is very easy to use. People often ask me how I created my materials and honestly a lot of the credit goes to the application itself. It's incredibly useful and one of the best parts is being able to put together beautiful presentations in a very short amount of time.

Cons

The only downside is that the free version sometimes doesn't include features and resources that are as good as the ones available in the paid plan.

“Templates for infographics”

Pros

Love it! Putting together infographics and personas is really easy because there are plenty of solid templates to start from and most of the work is just editing them to fit what you need.

Cons

Resizing things in the software isn't very convenient so creating posters feels less practical. It also tends to lag when too many graphics are added.

“10/10 for long design projects”

Pros

Piktochart feels like one of those tools people often overlook in favor of Canva but it has been incredibly useful for larger or more demanding graphic design work. Its versatility is what I appreciate most since it works well across many different kinds of projects. I have especially enjoyed using it for long posters and banners because the page can be extended as much as needed for those oversized designs. For that kind of project, it honestly gives me better options than Canva and other similar platforms.

Cons

Occasionally, it can get a bit unresponsive when I'm exporting charts that I've spent a lot of time creating. That can be stressful because if the page crashes, there's always the worry that my work may not have been saved. Even so, it usually doesn't turn into a serious problem and I'm still able to export my charts in several different formats.

“Incredible templates for every project”

Pros

Having prebuilt templates to start from makes the whole process really convenient and customizing them is easy. I can drag and drop elements, remove or add items, resize sections, change fonts and include multimedia content without any hassle. The tutorials are very clear and the platform feels user friendly enough that even someone without design or coding experience can use it comfortably. It also works well for creating different kinds of visual content, including infographics, reports, banners and presentations.

Cons

Really, there is nothing specific I dislike about it. It works very well overall, even when using the free version.

Pros

It makes it possible to create high-quality infographics and charts in-house instead of outsourcing the work. It's simple to use and pretty much anyone can jump in and start designing without much trouble.

Cons

The only downside is that some features now require payment which is a bit disappointing.

“fast infographic creation”

Pros

Putting together infographics and presentations with this software is very easy and I can get things done quickly without much effort. It comes with editable templates that I can adjust however I need, whether that means changing the text, switching fonts or adding my own images alongside the ones included in the platform. It helps me arrange information clearly by dragging and dropping elements and inserting text where I want it. There are also multiple chart options that can be designed to different kinds of data and I can even embed YouTube videos. I really appreciate the tools and design elements it provides to customize and enhance the content I want to publish, all without needing coding skills or a background in graphic design.

Cons

Quite a useful tool for my work and honestly I do not have any negative comments about the software.

“Infographics that drive traffic”

Pros

Back when infographics started taking off in digital marketing, It ended up being a huge help for me. It gave me a way to create infographics without needing to be very tech-savvy or have much design knowledge. It has saved me a ton of time and money since I didn't have to hire a designer and it also helped bring a lot of traffic to my websites. They offer presentations and other features too but I've personally only used it for infographics.

Cons

One thing I wasn't crazy about is that the designs can start to feel a little repetitive or stale after a while. That's kind of expected with a template-based platform that so many people use. I've definitely seen infographics from others that looked almost the same as mine, just with different content. Still, when you compare the cost to what a fully custom design would be, it's really not a major issue. Overall, I can't complain much.

“Great overall!”

Pros

Whenever I need to put together an infographic, it is usually my first stop because I already know it has the graphic elements and layout ideas I'm comfortable working with. Building out sections and content blocks, switching between fonts and using features like importing data and turning it into visualizations gives this tool a lot to appreciate.

Cons

There were times when saving my work felt noticeably delayed or the site seemed to struggle with everything I had going on so it could be a bit slow now and then. I understand that I was using the free version but people still expect tools like this to update, save and respond almost in real time.

“clean templates and versatile charts”

Pros

Creating infographics with this software has been a really solid experience. There are plenty of ready-made elements you can drop in quickly which makes putting designs together much faster. The chart selection is another highlight, with lots of options for building different kinds of charts right inside the platform. The drag-and-drop editor is very easy and the templates look polished, clean and professional.

Cons

Free version does come with some pretty significant limits. There isn't much storage available for photo uploads, it doesn't support collaboration and anything made on the free plan includes a watermark.
