“easy mobile access”

Pros

It's generally easy to use, works well from a mobile phone and gives the flexibility of both voice and text communication.

Cons

A frustrating part is that recordings can be hard to find, download or play back when needed.

“crystal-clear calls”

Pros

Using it has been really easy and it comes with some nice features especially the ability to set up your caller ID so the person you're calling sees the name you entered. The call recording quality is also very clear, with no distortion or background noise. Overall, every call comes through clearly.

Cons

One thing I'd still like is the option to use it directly on my desktop since I'm on a Chromebook. That way, if a call comes in, I wouldn't need to switch over to another tab.

“mobile calls are a mess”

Pros

The interface is well designed and it's helpful being able to manage multiple lines from one central place. It also includes a lot of practical, well-thought-out features.

Cons

Unfortunately, the mobile call quality is awful whether you're connected to Wi-Fi or using cellular data. If you're on data and don't have a full signal, it's basically not even worth answering the call. The SMS auto-replies also don't seem to function correctly. We have some set up for missed calls and others for when a customer leaves a voicemail but callers end up getting two text messages after leaving one message. That feels like something that should be simple to correct. Also, we frequently run into a problem where the audio randomly switches from the headset to the speaker or handset and then we can't switch it back. Tech support was not very helpful and essentially told us there was nothing they could do right now, other than say they passed it along to engineering with no timeline for when it might actually be addressed.

“Constant syncing and call failures”

Pros

Nothing is functioning properly and IT keeps asking me to spend a ridiculous amount of time helping them troubleshoot it.

Cons

Syncing has never worked at all. I've taken plenty of screenshots and sent them over to IT but they just keep asking for more and more information. Since I'm trying to run a business, I don't have time to keep documenting every single issue again and again so they can sort it out. Also, I'm missing calls and can't make calls reliably either. Sometimes the phone rings but when I answer, it disconnects automatically. Then IT wanted phone numbers, timestamps and even asked to install some kind of tracer on my phone which I'm absolutely not okay with. After months of asking for a real fix, nothing has improved.

“affordable and simple to set up”

Pros

Getting started with it was really easy. The app is simple to use, quick to set up and the pricing feels very reasonable.

Cons

There comes a slight delay during phone calls. It is not severe but it is noticeable enough to stand out. It has improved over time which I appreciate though it has not completely gone away. They are also building out integrations but I am still waiting for a native Integromat/Make integration. That seems to require them to coordinate with Integromat/Make and it has not happened yet which is a bit frustrating.

“VOIP and texting in one”

Pros

Being able to combine my VOIP number with my texting plan for the same price I was already paying just for texting has been a really nice upgrade. It also gives me the option to use my cell phone for both work and personal calls through the app which makes everything much more convenient.

Cons

Ring setting changes are not very user friendly. I've also run into app override issues, like personal calls starting to ring while I'm already on a work call.

“Powerful multi-number setup”

Pros

Really liked it! It feels a lot like GV in terms of simplicity but it comes with many more features. Adding multiple numbers is easy and moving between them is just as simple.

Cons

I do wish there were a way to bulk mark the log as read or unread instead of having to click each entry one by one. I'd also like to see a two-click option on the browser.

“texting that keeps us moving”

Pros

We brought it in as a backup line for our business and the texting feature has become a key part of our day-to-day workflow.

Cons

What I'd want is a way to use our existing number with it without needing to port it over first.

“Feature-packed!”

Pros

It was very easy to get started with this tool and using it has been just as simple. The pricing is in line with other options out there but you get a lot more features and the dashboard is noticeably better.

Cons

At this point, I really don't have any complaints about it. I also haven't had to contact customer support yet so I can't comment on that part.

“Fairly priced!”

Pros

So getting a phone system at this price point and also having a lightweight CRM included is honestly impressive. It offers a lot for what it costs and I'm very pleased with the value I'm getting. It already does a lot well and it feels like it's only going to improve over time.

Cons

The only thing I'd really want added is integration with other CRM platforms. Aside from that, it's an excellent system.

“unreliable texting and weak support”

Pros

Interface is simple to get set up and overall it is okay to use.

Cons

Quo has been totally unreliable for me. I transferred my number over and it still doesn't receive text messages consistently. I've tested it multiple times and even had friends send messages that never came through. I contacted support as well but their responses were slow and they weren't helpful at all.

“Impressive calling tools”

Pros

Being able to see when coworkers are already on a call is really useful and the call recording option is essential when we need to review conversations. Call transfers are available too which helps a lot. Texting works well though the desktop version doesn't offer many emoji options. I also really appreciate that voicemail gets transcribed into text while still including the audio recording.

Cons

My coworkers and I ran into an issue with the caller ID feature. It sounded like a really valuable tool since we handle a high volume of inbound calls with families but even after setting it up some databases still don't recognize our caller ID. Because of that, certain clients don't answer when we call. We've also had a few clients mention that the sound quality can be poor at times although that may depend on a variety of factors.

“crystal-clear calls everytime”

Pros

Using it day to day has been very easy. Call quality is clear, provided the internet connection is decent and when we switch to mobile data on our phones, it works really well. There's also a huge selection of phone numbers to choose from.

Cons

Initial setup felt a little unclear at first though that's fairly similar to a lot of other software.

“quick setup for startups”

Pros

Getting this up and running took almost no time and it made it really simple for our startup to have a phone number for all the random places where we need to list one..

Cons

Honestly I just wish we had more reasons to use it. We don't get very many calls.

“reliable interface across platforms”

Pros

Right away, the interface felt polished and user-friendly. I also really appreciate how well the app connects across multiple platforms which makes it much more convenient to use. Also, it's very easy to navigate and the reliability has honestly been the biggest highlight for me.

Cons

One thing that still needs attention is that notifications from blocked numbers are still coming through even after those numbers have been added to the block list.

“Amazing app and voice quality”

Pros

The native app has been fantastic. I really appreciate how regularly new features are released, like the recording inbox and the Mac app. The voice quality is excellent and it lets me keep my personal number private when talking with clients and prospects.

Cons

It would be even better with a central admin console and centralized billing.

“super convenient for US calls”

Pros

Using it feels just like handling a regular phone so there was almost no learning curve. I can keep both my US number and my local number on the same device which makes it incredibly convenient to stay in touch with US customers even when I'm outside the US.

Cons

There isn't anything major to complain about. Once in a while I miss a call and only notice it later in my missed calls but that could just as easily be on my end.

“All-in-one calling convenience”

Pros

Interface is really user-friendly on both the web version and the mobile app which makes it simple to work with. It's also really convenient being able to handle both texting and calling all in one place.

Cons

Something I'd still like to see is a priority-based call routing option by contact. For example, it would be helpful if a specific contact could ring one user first and if they don't answer, the call would automatically move to the next person in line.

“really useful for global founders”

Pros

Being an international founder, having a tool like this has been incredibly useful. It's also very simple to use.

Cons

Downside is that it probably doesn't allow calls to international numbers.
