“Virtual assistant setup that actually helps”

Pros

Having a virtual assistant handle missed calls has been really useful and setting up the call flows is simple and easy.

Cons

At times, call notifications don't come through. Since I'm away on weekends, I miss calls during that time and those missed calls usually don't appear until I open the app and it refreshes.

“reliable team collaboration”

Pros

Quo has been very dependable for handling calls. The mentions, comments and threaded conversations inside the app are especially useful for internal teamwork, we rely on them all the time to highlight issues and talk through customer interactions.

Cons

Not having API or webhook support is a big drawback. Since we use Jobber for field operations, there's no easy way to create tasks or assign conversations between the two systems. Because of that, we end up coordinating everything manually which creates extra friction. Quo also lacks live call listening and that's a major downside for us since training new CSRs on real calls is important and this platform doesn't let us do that effectively.

“critical onboarding blocked everything”

Pros

The appeal here was the idea of handling business calls and texts with multiple employees under a single account and phone number.

Cons

In the end, the service was completely unusable for me. I couldn't send messages to clients or even reply to incoming ones until my number had been fully processed with U.S. carriers. That onboarding requirement is a major step and it was nowhere near as easy as it was made out to be.

“Works on my personal phone”

Pros

Having it on my personal phone is really convenient since I don't need to carry two phones around and it's very simple to use. We haven't run into any issues at all.

Cons

I honestly haven't had any problems with Quo so there really isn't anything I can say I dislike about it. It's been excellent.

“feature-packed calling setup”

Pros

It covers everything we need and comes with a solid set of features, including API access and support for multiple lines. We were able to tailor the phone lines to fit our workflow and push our business contact data into the platform which lets us instantly see which customer is calling or texting along with their profile details.

Cons

The Webhook API still feels pretty limited since it doesn't provide access to messages. The contact API is also somewhat rough around the edges and has its share of issues. Also, the AI responder feels overpriced and there's no API option to plug in our own token-based AI service. The contact interface could also use improvement especially by allowing links such as direct shortcuts to a customer's CRM record in another system.

“Has strong features”

Pros

Working with this software has made team collaboration feel much more organized and organized. It handled everything we needed it to do and it even offered more than we originally expected.

Cons

Biggest downside right now is that it still doesn't integrate very well with Jobber. I also wish the getting started guide was better because learning all of the features takes more effort than it should.

“fantastic value for business calls”

Pros

Getting a professional phone system up and running for a very small business was surprisingly easy with this software. It's user-friendly and offers a really strong set of features for the price which has made it incredibly valuable for us.

Cons

Every now and then, I run into connectivity issues although they happen infrequently enough that I haven't spent much time figuring out the cause. Personalized customer support isn't especially strong but since the platform is simple to use and the online resources are excellent, it hasn't been a major problem.

“Made calling and texting so much easy”

Pros

To have the option to use the service on both my computer and my phone makes it really convenient since I can answer calls to our business line no matter where I am. One big advantage is that it also lets me text clients in Canada which was something the main alternative, Google Voice, couldn't offer.

Cons

A downside is that pricing is charged per user and they assign a separate line to each person even when all you actually need is several users working from the same line.

Its affordable pricing is what drew me in and sending messages was convenient when the system was actually working.

“Very reliable coverage”

Pros

Good one! it performs really well and offers a lot of configuration options. It can also record calls and send text messages which adds a lot of value. You're able to set specific times for the system to start so you're still covered whenever you can't get to the phone.

Cons

A few parts take some research and trial to set up correctly.

“Clear call quality”

Pros

Working remotely from a different country than my client means I need to make most of my calls internationally and this has been really dependable. The connection quality is excellent and I can hear the person on the other end very clearly during calls.

Cons

It would be even better if there were more discounted package options for long-term users.

“mixed feelings on headset-only calling”

Pros

I really appreciate the concept of handling calls from home without needing a handheld phone. That setup is definitely appealing.

Cons

One downside is that the system depends entirely on the internet so if the connection goes out, you can't make or receive any calls. Another issue is that some employees would prefer using a handheld phone but that isn't available here since the only option is a headset.

“remote communication made better”

Pros

For me, working remotely feels a lot more manageable with it. Staying connected is simple and the texting features have been especially helpful for me in day-to-day communication.

Cons

Lately, the added charges for texts and the higher subscription cost have been a couple of changes that really count against it.

“All-in-one calling that just works”

Pros

So from day one, this has worked really well for us with barely any glitches. The customer service has also been excellent. I really appreciate having customer texts, phone calls and voicemails all together in one place. It's also very convenient that anyone on my team can sign into the tool from their own device and place a call or reply to a customer right from the app.

Cons

My only complaint is an occasional glitch when I try to use the number in certain documents. Sometimes it isn't recognized as a valid phone number so I end up having to use my personal number instead. Because of that, it works very well as the customer-facing business number but for some administrative accounts I still need to rely on my personal number.

“Simple interface across devices”

Pros

Both the desktop and mobile versions have a very polished, user-friendly interface that's simple to navigate.

Cons

Almost every time there's an update, a small issue tends to come with it, like call logs not refreshing properly or the app taking too long to finish updating.

“frustrating support and no refund”

Pros

I never ended up using the product because I couldn't get it working in the first place.

Cons

Support was frustrating since there's no phone option at all, only email and replies take 24-48 hours. After not getting answers to my help requests, I also discovered that refunds aren't available.

“Business calling made better”

Pros

Running two small businesses, I really can't imagine my setup without it anymore. Sharing my personal number had become impossible to manage because I never knew who was calling or which business the call was about. Having a dedicated local number connected to my business listings on Google Maps, Facebook and my websites has been a huge advantage. This tool has been an amazing part of my business toolkit.

Cons

Over the time I've used it, there have been a few service outages. That said, their team has been responsive about the steps they were taking and kept communication clear throughout. Each issue was resolved in a timely manner.

“slow number porting delays”

Pros

Once the number was finally ported over, the system worked well enough. That part took around two weeks so it was fortunate I didn't need phone service immediately. Calling in and out worked properly as long as there was an internet connection.

Cons

Biggest frustration was how long everything took especially getting set up and then trying to have my number ported out to a cellular provider when I actually needed it. It took about three weeks to get the number released which was two weeks after I already needed a phone for work. They claim they respond within 48 hours but in reality it was more like 48 to 60 hours, usually sometime on the second day after I reached out. There didn't seem to be any urgency or competence when it came to handling the routine admin side of porting a number to another provider. It felt like they would rather leave a paying customer without phone access than help someone move on once the service was no longer needed. They say the job will get done but you should expect a long wait, assuming it happens at all.

“CRM sync is good”

Pros

Being able to set up text templates, schedule messages ahead of time and make calls from my browser, mobile app or desktop app has been really useful. The CRM integration is another big plus for keeping everything connected.

There was one major outage but it was fixed very quickly.

“helpful support but unreliable app”

Pros

During the time I used it, there really were not many positives to point to. One thing I can say is that their customer service team was consistently available to assist, even if there were not many actual solutions they could offer.

Cons

The mobile app kept failing on a regular basis and we dealt with more dropped calls than we ever had before. Also, whenever we contacted them to get something fixed, they tried to charge us every single time.
