“Might not work for you

Pros

I have to start by saying that Rocketseed's email signature product is great for most everyone looking for a hosted signature solution. In our case, however - and I want to make it clear that despite their best efforts to find a solution us, Rocketseed has failed us. As mentioned, their team was helpful and diligent in trying to solve our problem. I have no problems with their staff who were assigned to work with us. Our request from Rocketseed, was to have the email signature appear only once at the beginning of the email thread, and on subsequent replies and/or forwards, having no signature or banner appear. We have 10 users in our company who use Mac Mail, and apparently, there is a known issue with Apple’s Mail whereby a bit of code that is not able to be circumvented creates an issue with embedded images being removed from email threads, and therefore we weren’t able to achieve the desired result with Rocketseed. That's not my problem with Rocketseed.

Cons

My problem is despite knowing that their system does not work for us, their reply was that ‘our finance team isn’t able to issue a prorated refund for the remaining term’. In our company, if we can’t make something work, we don’t just say, sorry - no refund. We make it right, or we give the customer their money back. I’ve asked this of Rocketseed, but instead of doing what I consider would be the right thing to do, they simply stand by a blanket statement of no money back. You signed a contract, you’re out of luck. They have offered us a credit for use of their other services, but we don’t need those services - we only needed the hosted email signature. It’s kinda like going shopping for a new suit and finding one that looks great, but after trying it on, it doesn’t fit quite right. - so instead of refunding our money, they’re offering us a hat, or an umbrella. We don’t need those things. We’d just like our money back. Normally, I would say ‘sure, I understand - we signed the agreement.’ But we’re a small business, trying to spend our money wisely and make ends meet. This is a situation where a company has an opportunity to do the right thing, but - we’re just too small to worry about. We lose, they win. So, if you need an hosted email solution, Rocketseed may be a good fit for you. But be certain that the solution will indeed work in your case before you sign your contract, or you may just be out of luck, like us.

“Does what it suppose to do

Pros

I love being able to add custom banners for all the different events and promotions we have happening.

Cons

Uploading banners is a long and tedious process but once we get the hang of it, it is pretty simple. Other than that I have no complaints.

“Has some amazing and strong features

Pros

One feature I love about Rocketseed is the detailed reporting and analytics, it lets me randomly assign banners to users so they do not always see the same one unless I manually change it.

Cons

The setup was a bit complicated and users occasionally have trouble making it show up but I must say support has been very helpful with that.

“Helpful tool for us

Pros

It makes it easy for us to share our employees contact information with clients and internal staff.

Cons

Updating user details takes longer than we expected and there's a lot of clicking back and forth to ensure the signature shows the correct information.

“Packed with the best features

Pros

Automatic email signature updates, centralized management, and the ability to delegate to the communications department without relying on IT are all the best features.

Cons

I have to pay for a service to generate a template when I want to make changes to the email signature. It would be great to have the option to edit it myself.

“Our decision turned out great

Pros

Setting it up is easy and then it runs automatically. Once we select the ads, it is a set it and forget it situation. The reach is amazing too especially since we are targeting people who already want to work with us.

Cons

Some issues arise with IT and the internal email system but we have managed to overcome them.

“A strong branding tool with great customer service

Pros

The email signatures look professional, much better than individual ones and are easy to manage. Uploading banners is also pretty easy and the detailed analytics and reporting are great for marketers. Whenever I have needed support, the team has been friendly, quick to respond and resolved my issues fast.

Cons

We have many banners and users and sometimes the reports crash or fail to export but contacting support quickly resolves this. The process of assigning banners, setting dates and making changes to multiple banners could be more efficient. When dealing with a lot of banners, it is time consuming to double check everything.

“Good with some areas to improve

Pros

With centralized control of email addresses, a flexible signature setup and automatic updates for new addresses, it has everything we need in one place.

Cons

I noticed that the layout can be too complex when managing users especially since internal users cannot see signatures unless they have one themselves.

“Would definitely recommend it

Pros

The modern design displaying our staff photos, logo, address and phone number really helps us stand out from the competition.

Cons

Once a month the system encounters an error that prevents the signature from populating and we have to contact the team to fix it.

Pros

Creating Rocketseed email signatures is easy and they look professional. I love that you can click the logo to be directed straight to the company website.

Cons

I would love more online training on creating signatures and exploring marketing options. After the initial setup only a few modifications were needed.

Pros

It is easy to use and set up. The platform's technicians walked us through the entire process and made it super simple.

Cons

Honestly, there was not anything to dislike. The setup was easy and it works well and the product does exactly what it is supposed to.

Pros

I really like the wide range of options and the simplicity of the product. It does not take a one size fits all approach, which is a big plus.

Cons

No complaints at all. If we wanted to change something, we just had to speak to someone and they took care of it.

We value the ability to maintain brand consistency across the organization. As a small nonprofit Rocketseed gives us the tools to enhance our marketing and present a professional image we could not otherwise achieve.

Our challenges are mainly due to internal processes and procedures but we are very happy with how it works.

“A Promising Start with Great Potential

I appreciate how this puts their clients first during the setup process. I have had weekly meetings with our contact and they have been incredibly helpful in resolving issues as they come up.

Cons

Well I do not like how getting the signature right has been more difficult than expected. We struggled to get the right information to show up but it's been resolved now.

Pros

They offered expert advice and strategic guidance on creating email signatures, organizing our directory and successfully rolling out the final signatures across the organization.

Cons

While there were some initial delays in response time and attention to detail, these were quickly addressed as we progressed. I am especially thankful to the team for improving coordination across the organization and helping make this initiative happen with efficiency and clarity.

“Fantastic program

Pros

Signature consistency and ease of maintenance across staff at multiple locations is a huge benefit. Overall customer service is top notch.

Cons

I really do not have anything negative to say about it as customer service is always ready to help whenever needed!
