“fantastic for step-by-step guides
Pros
This tool feels simple and it feels to create, revise and export step-by-step guides without extra effort. I can document tasks that would usually need a video and instead of spending time recording everything, I'm able to turn the process into clear written instructions quickly. The way Tango captures every click so accurately really stands out to me because that level of precision makes the documentation much more useful and reliable. Another feature I genuinely find valuable is the external shareable link option. I can send documentation directly to clients and they're always able to view the latest version even when I continue updating or adding content afterward which has been incredibly helpful for keeping everyone aligned.
Cons
If I had to point out one drawback it would be the Markdown export. there were times when it took a bit longer than expected to show the most current screen content. That said I'm not completely sure whether this was a consistent issue or just a one-off bug that I happened to run into.

“time-saving guides!
Pros
I use Tango to create step-by-step guides on the spot and automate parts of my workflow and that has saved me a lot of time across training, support and documentation. What I really like is how it records my clicks, screenshots and each action while I'm working, then turns everything into content I can share, edit or export without much effort. In my experience, that has been especially helpful for onboarding new team members, building SOPs and improving software adoption across the board. Another thing I appreciate is that getting started with the core documentation tools was very quick for me, usually just a minute or two to install and begin using especially through the free browser extension.
Cons
The main downside is that the more advanced features take longer to fully learn. While I found the basics fairly simple to pick up, it still took me some time to get comfortable with everything the platform can do. I've also noticed that mobile access feels somewhat limited, since support for phones and tablets is not as strong as the desktop experience.

“Fast browser guides that impress
Pros
What I like most about Tango is how simple it was for me to get started. I only had to add the Chrome extension and within moments, I was already using it. The way it generates screenshots is surprisingly fast and I've been impressed by how it captures each click in real time without making my browser feel sluggish.
Cons
PDF downloads are locked behind a paid plan. After putting together a really solid guide it was disappointing to realize I couldn't save it offline unless I upgraded. I also find the free version limiting because it only works inside the browser which means I can't document workflows in desktop programs I use, like Blender or Photoshop. On top of that, I noticed the interface is available only in English and I feel that could make it harder for some people to use comfortably.

“Powerful guides for revenue teams
Pros
Lately I've been relying on Tango for the repetitive parts of my sales workflow and it has made a real difference for my revenue team. I've been able to turn routine actions into clear step-by-step guides and I also use it to automate follow-ups so important replies don't slip through the cracks. From my experience, it has helped us stay more organized and consistent in how we handle recurring tasks.
Cons
From what I've seen the biggest drawback is the pricing because I feel it could be more competitive. In my opinion, this is more of a fit for mid-sized to larger teams that can realistically afford to invest in the platform. I do think the return is there over time but it may take a while to fully realize it and that high upfront cost could make smaller organizations hesitate before trying what is otherwise a really strong tool for a revenue team.

“workflow documentation that really delivers
Pros
Using Tango to capture repetitive workflows in our day-to-day operations has made a noticeable difference for my team. I've seen it cut down on confusion and save us time because it turns real actions into clear, step-by-step instructions automatically. Instead of constantly re-explaining the same processes, I can rely on documented guidance that helps everyone follow the right procedure. Sharing those workflows across the team also feels much more practical and organized now.
Cons
I've noticed that the pricing can feel like a hurdle for smaller teams or companies watching their budget closely. Even though I do see the value in the product, the upfront cost may feel a bit steep if I'm not documenting processes on a larger scale. When it comes to more complex workflows, I also think some of the advanced customization features could be a little more flexible.

“Fast workflow docs for handoffs
Pros
What I really like about Tango is how quickly it lets me turn a process into step-by-step documentation without sitting there typing every instruction manually. I use it for client-facing guides around CRM updates, automation changes and onboarding workflows and it has taken a lot of the manual effort out of that work. As I move through a task, it captures my clicks automatically and builds clean documentation with screenshots which honestly saves me hours every month compared with writing SOPs from scratch. For process handoffs, I've found it especially useful because I can share something that feels clear organized and genuinely simple for clients or internal team members to follow.
Cons
My main frustration is that the screenshot editing features still feel a bit limited for what I need. I'd really appreciate more control over annotations, a built-in way to blur sensitive details and a simpler option for rearranging steps directly inside the platform. Whenever I want the final documentation to look a little more polished, I usually have to export it first and then make a few extra edits in another tool which adds an extra step to the process.
