I like how it makes writing emails super simple. It's honestly really good and saves me a lot of effort when I'm putting things together.

“Real time-saver”
Pros
It works almost everywhere you can type. It saves me tons of time when I'm typing the same stuff over and over again for work. There are so many cool ways to use it. Like I just type ".d" and it drops in today's date, no need to type it manually. That's just one little thing but imagine how much time you save when your whole team starts using it. If you build it into your daily work, you'll definitely feel the difference. Plus it's very easy to set up, learn and add new shortcuts.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind really. It does exactly what I need and it's so simple that I haven't run into any bugs or problems.

“Totally worth every penny”
Pros
I LOVE TextExpander. It's seriously one of my favorite tools out of everything we use. In Ops, we're always typing the same stuff when we reply to customers and this tool has saved us a crazy amount of time. The best part is that you can make your own personal shortcuts or create ones the whole team can use.
Cons
Not sure if it was an admin permission thing or what but for a while I couldn't make new snippets directly in the app. Thankfully, I could just log into their website and create my personal snippets there, so it wasn't a big deal.

“This tool saves time!”
Pros
What I really like is that I don't have to type out those long sentences I use all the time to describe tasks. It's a total lifesaver for stuff like time tracking or when I'm writing up similar docs every day. And I can make my own personal snippets too, not just use the ones shared with the team which is awesome.
Cons
The interface could definitely use a more modern look but that doesn't get in the way at all. It's super easy to use and honestly once it's set up, I barely even need to open the app.

“Smooth templating no matter where you are”
Pros
I appreciate that I can use it for emails, text messages and even our site's chatbot. It's also very simple to share with the team and tweak how I want. Setup was smooth and any time I've needed help, their support team got back to me fast.
Cons
I had a couple small issues with the user interface and it wasn't the most intuitive at first. But I found some helpful docs and their support team got back to me fast, so that helped.

“Cut down a ton of work time”
Pros
What's not to love? We've got over 1,000 shortcuts saved for all kinds of things, customer questions, product info, workflow stuff etc. It's saved us a huge amount of time. I used it a lot in my last role and even in my new job, I'm still saving hours every week. I get the weekly report so I know it's working!
Cons
It does act a little buggy sometimes. Like right now I can't edit or create shortcuts in the app and I have to go on their website to do that. Also I wish they made it easier to sort things. If I want to move a bunch of snippets into a folder, I have to do it one by one which is kind of annoying.

“Speed up my typing tasks”
Pros
I found this tool a while ago and it's been amazing. It helps you save so much time by letting you set up shortcodes that auto-fill full paragraphs. It's perfect when you need to say the same thing again and again. I've been using it for a while now and I totally recommend it. It saves a lot of time!

The feature where the cursor jumps to a certain spot in the snippet doesn't always work for me or maybe I'm not using it right. I've looked around but haven't found a fix yet.

“Love how easy it is to use”
Pros
It's veryyy helpful most of the time but I'll be honest when I'm using shortcuts and then have to switch to regular writing or chatting with someone, it sometimes throws me off a bit.
Cons
One thing that threw me off is that sometimes, when I use a shortcut it automatically expands into a full sentence I didn't mean to send especially when I'm writing emails or leaving comments. That's something I have to watch out for.
