VirtualPBX makes work less stressful

Pros

I love that I can check my voice messages right from my email. Overall, I have had a great experience with VirtualPBS.

Cons

Everything else was fine other than recording the greetings. I found it a bit confusing.

Exceptional product and customer care

Pros

Our experience with VirtualPBX has been awesome so far. Switching from landline phones to VOIP was a really smooth process and the setup process went really well too, thanks to their great service. What I love the most is how easy the system is to use and how amazing their customer support team has been.

Cons

I really miss a feature from an older version of VirtualPBX, where the auto attendant could listen to faxes on every line. That was such a useful tool and I wish they did bring it back.

Big fan of VirtualPBX

Pros

I love how it works everywhere and is easily accessible on all my devices.

Cons

Getting started wasn't the smoothest experience for us. We had to deal with quite a few bugs in the beginning, which was frustrating.

Easily accessible from anywhere

Pros

I really enjoy how easy VirtualPBX makes everything. Like as long as I have my cell phone and laptop, I basically have my entire office with me. There is no need for any extra equipment, which is a huge benefit. Also it is just so easy to stay connected and get work done anywhere.

Cons

Honestly, I do not have any complaints about the service. It is been great so far.

Couldn't be happier

Pros

Using VirtualPBX has been such a great experience. It is very easy to use and their staff is absolutely amazing. Anytime I have a question or need to make a change, they are always ready to help. They answer my questions quickly and thoroughly, which makes me feel really confident using the product.

Cons

There is really nothing bad to say about this service. It always performed well for us.

Customer support is awesome

Pros

Sending and receiving faxes is not a hassle anymore, and VirtualPBX customer support has really impressed me too.

Offering excellent service over the years

Pros

It's been 9 years, I am using VirtualPBX and I have got nothing but good things to say. Their products and services are highly reliable, but what really makes them stand out is their amazing customer service. It is honestly top-notch.

Cons

One downside is that a few international numbers are not available through them, even though I've seen them offered elsewhere.

Customer support didn't meet current standards

Pros

Honestly, nothing. I failed to get help with any of my problems and everyone I spoke to just kept passing the responsibility around.

Cons

I wasted nearly three weeks just trying to get my SMS account set up. It was super frustrating because they had no idea what they were doing and didn't bother helping me out. Also the support from their onboarding department was a total letdown.

A sudden increase of price for an old client is not appreciated

Pros

VirtualPBX used to be a stable platform, but the upgrades over the years caused some issues. Still, we kept working with them, and gradually they resolved most of it.

Cons

The biggest issue I have run into with VirtualPBX is the cost. I've been a loyal customer for 17 years and stuck with them through all their technical transitions, which cost us thousands in human resources just to get our system working properly. Now, they have forced their long-time customers onto a new pricing plan with just 30 days notice. Nowhere in the notice did they mention the price difference but after several calls and emails, I found out our costs were going up by 300%. They would not even consider bringing the price back down to what we were paying before. Instead, the best their management could offer was an 80% increase but only if we signed a binding 2 year contract. We've never needed a contract with them until now, and it feels like pure greed on their part. This behavior is borderline unethical, especially since they know how difficult it is to switch systems quickly when you have got everything integrated. Now we're stuck scrambling to find and implement a new solution, which will take weeks of work. Meanwhile, they will start charging us the full 300% increase tomorrow. It's really disappointing to see such a terrible company culture. VirtualPBX's management should honestly be ashamed of how they are treating their customers.

Needs work to go beyond the average

Pros

Compared to other systems, I will say VirtualPBX is pretty average. Nothing so special about it!

Cons

The support and the initial setup for the system were pretty disappointing. It felt like there wasn't much guidance or help during the process.

Pros

Got a great response from the customer support team

Pros

The customer service I got was superb. The representative I talked to figured out the problem right away and helped me fix it quickly.

Cons
