ergonomic and engaging to use

Pros

Its interface is well designed, it's quick to get the hang of and it works really well for leading interactive sessions.

Cons

The matching feature could be simpler, especially if it allowed several items to be linked to the same answer.

Essential part of our routine

Pros

At this point, we use it in every training session, whether it's remote or in person. Most of the time, it helps us check that the content has been understood and we also use it occasionally for live polls. It's extremely simple to set up and very simple to use. The participants also have a very convenient and quick way to access the questionnaires. The range of question types is already quite broad which gives us plenty of options. Wooclap also makes it possible to switch between more traditional training moments and interactive ones without any friction. Honestly, we couldn't do without it anymore.

Cons

I don't really have any major negatives to mention. From time to time, I've wished for one additional question type or another, even if I can't point to a specific example right now.

Appreciate the Palmares mode

Pros

We've been using the basic version of this tool for the past three years and it has been more than enough for running our virtual classes. Our learners really enjoy the interactive side of it, especially the "Palmares" mode. On our end, we also appreciate the variety of interaction features available.

Cons

At the beginning, it takes a bit of time to understand how the "events" structure works. Once that part is clear though, the tool becomes very interactive and creating questionnaires is quite simple.

User-friendly and accessible platform

Pros

It is genuinely user-friendly and even people who aren't very tech-savvy can find their way around the app without any trouble.

Cons

That simplicity can be limiting and doesn't let you go further with certain features, such as competition mode for quizzes that run at the participant's own pace.

Quick to get comfortable with

Pros

The product's interactive approach makes it very quick to get familiar with and start using.

Cons

A couple of improvements would make it even better: letting people we share activities with generate them on their side using a different QR code and giving the administrator the ability to edit or correct participants' answers shown on the results board.

well-rounded tool

Pros

It is a simple, effective and well-rounded tool for leading classes or training sessions, whether they're in person or online. It works well with all kinds of audiences and makes it possible to collect quick, useful feedback.

Cons

it still lacks a more playful side like Kahoot! offers, with features such as learner races and a more organized interface for that kind of activity mode.

Creating activites takes no time

Pros

Creating interactive activities with it takes just a few minutes thanks to how user-friendly the interface is. Another really valuable part is the instant feedback it provides which makes the whole experience much more effective.

Cons

free version feels pretty limited and since I only use it occasionally, the paid plan ends up seeming expensive to me.

Several ways to collect feedback

Pros

There are several ways to collect feedback from the audience and the platform is simple for both students and teachers to use.

Cons

The free plan is limited to just two questions. That said, the paid options are reasonably priced and include extra features such as PDF import.

Superb software

Pros

It has made it much more fun to check what students understand and where they still need extra help. I can also display images and build questions around them which makes lessons more engaging.

Cons

One issue I've noticed is that the images do not always appear very clearly. That said, it could be related to my computer rather than the software itself.

Instant feedback stands out

Pros

One of the best parts is the instant feedback students get, whether it's shown on the screen for everyone or sent directly to them individually. It's also really helpful that I can build assessments in advance and have them saved digitally to reuse later. The competition mode is another feature I really enjoy.

Cons

At times, getting help with troubleshooting can take longer than I'd like. I've had situations where I needed to wait 1-2 days before getting a response.

Best variety of question types

Pros

Compared with other formative assessment tools used in education, it offers the widest range of question formats I've seen.

Cons

Because we're a high school, WooClap is actually free for any K-12 teacher but quite a few of my teachers overlook that during the sign-up process.
