Cons

What stood out to me was the large number of functions and parameters in the system, many of which can change with just an upgrade or service pack.

Pros

I like how much data the software can process and report, especially within payroll where I can set effective dates for payroll item or union rate changes which makes tax periods so much easier. It also helps me manage jobs from forecasting to tracking costs, while mobile tech supports our service department and I've always found the Coins help desk timely, thorough and eager to resolve issues.

Cons

I wish the reporting was more flexible because I don't like having to rely on COINS to create or modify reports for an extra cost after already paying license fees.

Since it's a very customizable platform for me, the implementation phase can take a while before everything is customized to your exact needs.

I find the system security scheme along with Job Cost and BI Reporting modules very effective, as they're easy to follow, flexible and provide me with the efficiency I need in managing data.

Cons

The DM module works well for scanning, indexing and uploading, though I feel the keyword maintenance around service orders could definitely be improved.

COINS offers a convenient web platform with user-friendly interfaces and I like how it makes accessing a wide range of project data easy.

I've noticed that the product gets updated often, which is both a pro and a con, since it brings enhancements but also requires some testing on our side.
