“Strong Organizational Support
Pros
During project implementation, what stood out most to me was the strong organizational support. A detailed plan, well-managed tasks and simple menus helped me stay on track while making the entire process smoother.
Cons
Bank reconciliations are difficult if the bank's export format doesn't match COINS' import requirements and this often forces us to do manual work. Reporting also has too many variable options and if we use it inconsistently, two people running the same report may still get different results.

“Great & Easy to Use
Pros
I find the system both solid and easy which gives me confidence in relying on it. The user-friendly design makes my work more easy and allows me to focus on completing projects rather than worrying about the tool itself.
Cons
I think budgeting has to be set per unit rather than as a lump sum, because this makes it harder for technicians like us to view totals on work orders.

“Helpful Support
Pros
It's really simple for me to use and even though I'm still learning, I've found the consultants to be very helpful and supportive whenever I need guidance.
Cons
Overall the experience has been positive for me so there's not much else i can critique.

“End to end solution
Pros
I like having the ability to create user-friendly desktops that make work smoother. My users appreciate how simple payments are and I enjoy that it truly feels like an end to end product.
Cons
I think there are too many ways to complete the same task and inconsistent report naming makes it difficult to locate the right reports.

“Perfect for project management
Pros
COINS has given me the best capability for managing large construction projects. Planning and budgeting difficult engineering tasks feels easier now and also I find financial and resource management easy with its workflow and scheduling system.
Cons
This tool is pretty nice and excellent and can be widely used for large construction and engineering project cost management in our company but the I think the quality of technical support could still be improved.

“Good overall but lacks accounting features
Pros
I like that the data management features are powerful and I can search and view information across many fields in whatever way I need. Also, customizing columns, sorting views like in Excel and exporting results quickly gives me flexibility that other software don't provide.
Cons
I spend most of my time in accounts payable and I find COINS doesn't have accounting features since I can't view invoices while entering data. I've had to create workarounds outside the software to manage invoices more efficiently.

“Positive Experience
Pros
This software was simple for me to install and I love that it doesn't take up much space while still being user-friendly. Keeping all my bids in one place has become more organized and stress-free.
Cons
I felt the software was a little plain at first, with some glitches, though customer service was always easy to reach and quick to help.

“Easy Web Integration
Pros
When I started using the system it was very easy to configure so this allowed our different companies with diverse business lines to function independently. Also because the software is fully web-based and easily connecting through APIs and web services all that makes integration pretty effortless for me.
Cons
Since the system is highly configurable, there's definitely an initial learning curve but once I understood it, the flexibility became a strong advantage.

“All in One System
Pros
The Mobile Technician feature has been a standout for my team as it gives technicians the ability to add photos and notes directly on equipment issues. And running the entire business from operations to accounting in one system feels easy and bulk data imports and exports save me time.
Cons
Implementation was difficult, not because of the software's flexibility but because our users struggled to adapt to new processes.

“Customizable Setup
Pros
Ease of use has been one of the strongest points for me. The setup was simple and I could customize user configuration and that allowed me to adapt the software exactly to how I want to work.
Cons
Even after the first year of installation, I still found small but unimportant bugs in reporting and functionality, which sometimes slowed workflows.

“Efficient Payroll
Pros
I like that I can configure the system to fit my business needs and the payroll module has been especially helpful since it cuts down the time it takes me to process payroll significantly.
Cons
My biggest frustration is the frequency of updates, as each one requires a lot of testing for us as end users.

Pros
What stands out most to me is the unlimited potential in designing the software to work exactly how I want it to for my company. That flexibility makes it adaptable to different needs.
Cons
Like most systems, I found there to be a learning curve but with practice it gradually became more manageable.

“Covers All Business Needs
Pros
The software has addressed nearly all of my business requirements as a complete ERP system and I've appreciated the high level of customization that's available throughout.
Cons
When we first started, some areas felt clunky and required heavy QA due to customization, though I've seen great improvements over time.

“Great Remote Reporting
Pros
This tool has been very comprehensive for me, handling back-office needs while also handling things like data collection and reporting for remote users. It gives my operational units a better and more broader coverage as well.
Cons
I've noticed development is always focused on future versions but I wish there were more attention on improving the versions we actively rely on for daily business.

“Smooth Cloud Experience
Pros
I liked that the software was cloud-based with a user-friendly interface which made it easy for me to adapt without needing heavy technical training.
Cons
The data migration process was challenging when mapping our old structure to the COINS system but after several calls with their team, we managed to sort it out and complete the import successfully.

“Covers Most ERP Needs
Pros
Being browser-based, flexible to run on-premise or in the cloud and fully configurable has been a big advantage. I like that it runs on open source Linux, covers most ERP needs and even provides iOS apps for service management, construction and CRM, with active development continuing.
Cons
I think there is a small learning curve for first-time users but with a bit of practice it becomes much easier to get comfortable with the system.

“Powerful Data Tools
Pros
The bulk, concurrent and multi-update functions make it easy for me to maintain information quickly and efficiently. I also value the powerful reporting and analysis tools that give me multiple ways to view and use my data.
Cons
It's not the most simple software and even with training I found myself needing to dedicate serious time to fully understand how everything works.
