“can't reach support for api sync”
Pros
My biggest hurdle so far has been simply reaching someone. Without being able to make contact, I haven't been able to actually use the product at all.
Cons
I'm trying to get the API working so it can synchronize my Ajera software with ArchiSnapper but I haven't been able to make progress.

“Site reporting that delivers”
Pros
ArchiSnapper has been really useful for capturing site data, creating reports and sharing updates with both team members and clients.
Cons
I wish it handled offline access better especially on remote job sites where an internet connection isn't always available and I still need to view or record data.

“built for construction reporting”
Pros
It's clear this software was created by people who actually understand the construction industry. Features like voice-to-text, automatic photo insertion into the report and the ability to place an observation directly on a floor plan make putting reports together much faster and more accurate.
Cons
I'm happy with pretty much everything. If I had to point out one minor issue it would be that photo processing can sometimes take a little while after the pictures are taken.

“photos, notes and plan markup”
Pros
Being able to connect a location with both photos and notes is really useful and makes documenting things much more complete.
Cons
I'd really like the option to import PDF plans directly in the Android app without having to rely on the cloud service since access isn't always available. Report generation itself hasn't been a problem for me and I understand that depends on the pricing and product setup. Still, it would be very helpful to capture part of a PDF plan and add it into the report list the same way photos are added so I could mark up notes and comments on both real-world images and the 2D plan.

“interactive reports and fast sharing”
Pros
I can add photos and annotate them right inside an interactive field report which is really useful especially since I can share it with the rest of the team immediately.
Cons
One of the recent updates turned off support for the phone's native camera app which now limits how I'm able to take pictures. I reached out to support and they said they would explore a fix. They also sent me an older version so I could go back to the previous setup. That workaround is working well for now but I'm hoping a future release keeps the newer improvements while removing the camera limitation.

“Professional reports in no time”
Pros
Putting together polished, professional-looking site visit reports takes very little effort with this software. It's simple for our teams to use on their devices and that helps us record every detail quickly and clearly so nothing gets missed or lost later when the information is passed along.
Cons
At the beginning, it was limited to iOS only but it has since become available on Android too.

“field reports done faster”
Pros
Assembling Field Observation Reports takes a lot less time with this software. It cuts down office work by formatting the document automatically and it also helps out on site because we can enter quick notes right from the iPad app. The customer service and technical support have been outstanding as well.. very responsive and genuinely helpful whenever we need assistance.
Cons
Construction Administration never leaves much extra time so fitting in the learning curve for a new program was a challenge at first. That said the time spent getting started absolutely pays off later. A few additions would make it even better: 1. a weather tab connected to a weather site so report conditions can be added automatically, 2. a way to track open items and include a running list of unresolved items from earlier reports at the end of each new report and 3. more photo markup tools especially straight and dotted line options.

“Fantastic value and support”
Pros
The interface is really user-friendly, it's a low-maintenance tool out in the field and the customer service has been excellent. It also gives very good value for the money.
Cons
There are fewer customization options than DM especially when it comes to reports but that was a tradeoff we were comfortable making.

“Quick reports and handy mobile access”
Pros
Compared with other options I've used this software really delivers in three key areas: first, it works across multiple platforms and the Android app has the added benefit of not needing an internet connection to function. Second, taking photos and adding comments in the Android app is very simple. Third, it lets me create professional-looking reports on the spot very quickly, whether I need to email them or print them out.
Cons
I used to have a much longer list of complaints but to their credit, the developers addressed them quickly by rolling out new features. The one issue that still remains is that offline editing on a laptop isn't possible even though the Android app does allow it. That makes things tricky when traveling on a plane or working in places where roaming costs are expensive.

“field reports save tons of time”
Pros
Setting up field reports is really simple and it works well out in the field. One of the biggest advantages for me is being able to build the next report from the previous one which saves a lot of time. The layout also makes it simple to follow the progress of assigned responsibilities and keep everything organized.
Cons
Actually I may need to go back through the tutorial more carefully but the only problem I've run into was on a project that was completed in phases. After finishing a punch list for one phase, I had trouble cloning that last field report to use as the starting point for the next phase. It would never clone the report the way I wanted and kept trying to pull in the punch list instead. It probably would have been simpler to set up each phase as its own separate project but I was able to work around it and everything ended up being fine.

“handy site notes and sketches”
Pros
Using this app on site has been really helpful because the interface includes plenty of user-friendly and practical features. It makes it simple to write notes and add observations directly onto sketches or photos during a site visit.
Cons
It would be even better with more customization options for font size, color and type since that would improve visual communication. The mobile interface also needs fewer software conflicts and clashes.

“helpful issue tracking, slow uploads”
Pros
It organizes site issues clearly and gives a solid overview with text and images. The transparency it provides to the client is also very good.
Cons
Biggest problem is how long image uploads take. Most of the time, creating a detailed report ended up taking me an entire day. On top of that, using it on a mobile phone does not work well because the commands are too small and too complicated for that type of device so I wasn't able to complete reports directly on site.

“flexible reports and polished presentations”
Pros
It does a really good job of presenting information in a logical and organized way which is exactly what matters in presentations. It gives plenty of flexibility when putting reports together and I also appreciate being able to switch template formats at any point to figure out which layout works best for a particular report.
Cons
There are moments when it feels a little slow but considering that it's a cloud-based application, that's somewhat understandable and just requires a bit of patience. Some parts of the interface can also feel unfamiliar in the beginning though that tends to improve fairly quickly once you get used to its quirks. And if something still doesn't work the way you'd like, you can always send in suggestions for future improvements.

“Quicker reports with auto photos”
Pros
Putting reports together takes much less time with this software. The feature I appreciated most is how it automatically drops photos into the report. Anyone who has had to handle that manually in a word processor will immediately see how much effort and time this saves.
Cons
The photo-tagging process could be more simple for reports. It would be better if I could take a picture and add a title to it right away before moving on to the next item.

“solid field collaboration tools”
Pros
The desktop and mobile apps together works really well. It covers all the project documentation features we need and each observation can hold a lot of attached detail. The real-time updates and connection with collaborators are also very strong.
Cons
sometimes the interface for managing data feels a bit cryptic and not very simple which can make data entry more tedious than it should be. The automatic page layouts can be slightly uneven and post-processing photos take a while to upload but those are fairly minor issues overall.

“clear field reports and punchlists”
Pros
I can arrange all the field reports and punch lists with this product and it has been really helpful and the final output is very clear and easy to read. The layout works really well and the app is simple to use overall.
Cons
The only part that gave us trouble was adding comments or marking up a photo since that process is not very simple at first. That said after a bit of practice, it becomes fairly manageable.
